Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

Well, many of the plans for this weekend have either been canceled, moved, or taking a break. WVU Football was supposed to host Oklahoma tomorrow afternoon for Senior Day, the last time the Seniors get to play a game at the stadium however due to COVID issues the game has been canceled

Michelle was going to get together with Chris and a few others and everyone bake Christmas cookies today and tomorrow however due to Ruby getting hammered with COVID cases, they thought that it would be best to pass on this activity this year. Don't want to create a super spreader event.

We were supposed to host a wedding here on Sunday, but the location has been changed to the Groom's Grandfather's home and have it indoors as opposed to doing it outdoors which was the plan here.

One thing that has not been canceled is an event that was planned for this evening building Gingerbread Houses and to see who has the best creativity. A small group of the family getting together and having some fun and laughs.

I do start training on Monday to work as a Contract Tracer for a few weeks. With COVID running rampant RTI has entered into an agreement with a company for us to do their contact tracing for them. I'll work Tuesdays thru Wednesdays 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM every day once we get started. Next week however is going to be some intense training from 9:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday to prepare us for this task. The good news is it can be done from home, so I'll be occupying the back bedroom to set up my office. I bought a new laptop that should be here today for this job.

I hope everyone has a great day, stay safe.
