Photo Flashback Thursday

Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out, time to look at some of the 30,000+ photos that I have stored on my computer. Little lost moments in time that I either captured with a lens, scanned or just stole from someplace on the internet. I like to find just one and post it up and recall or relive the picture to the best of my ability. Sometimes this is a pretty easy task and sometimes it's not that easy, one thing it has always been a whole lot of fun.

This weeks pic is from last week (I do that a lot) at Thanksgiving Dinner. I grabbed this picture of Michelle and her Seesters and Mom. This was taken after they had spent the day preparing a feast that allowed us to fill our bellies. It was a special day all around.

I need to do more photography and take more pictures.

Have yourselves a great day

Tuesday's Tidbits

* Both Michelle and I are still serving on Jury duty. how about that for a reason to do a tidbits.

* It has been 21,880 days since I was born, that is 21 years using my new,  new, and improved 1,000-day Calendar. I do have to say I am starting to feel my age or older than 21.

* It has been 7,140 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography. I do love what I do and I can see me doing this into my retirement years.

* 5,728 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, the pizza hut is gone, the movie was 10,000 BC. What a horrible pick I made for a movie.

* 4,931 days ago I proposed to Michelle in the backyard at 4:00 in the morning. Second best decision I ever made.

* It was 4,476 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, for the most part, Michelle and I became husband and wife at the Marilla Center, we poured sand into a vase and said our I do's and we were hitched.

* I have now lived 2,112 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going strong, slowing down but still going.

* Michelle has been living a clean and productive life and beat that alcohol demon 771 days ago today.

* My older Brother Jonathan lived 21,266 days, I've now outlived him by 637 days making me Senior Supreme Sibling once again! Sunday would have been his 61st Birthday.

* I have 2,960 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there, but I love doing what I do. Who knows though, doing what I do I may never retire.

* There are 370 days until I hit the age of 61. Yeah I know, I'm really older than 21.

* There are 291 more days until we go to Pittsburgh and beat the Panther's butts in their stadium.

* There are 278 more days to go until the Mountaineers will try to get some revenge here in Morgantown for last weekend when Penn State comes to Morgantown.

* There are 251 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Thirteenth Wedding Anniversary together.

* Making it's debut on this weeks countdown, in 186 Days Michelle and I will be traveling to Pittsburgh to see Kenney Chesney and Zack Brown at Acrisure Stadium.

* There are only 113 days to go until the next start of my favorite Season. Spring 2024.

* 81 more days until Phil steps to center stage once again for Groundhogs Day, that's when he tells us we will have an early spring.

* 32 more days to go until my Goodbye 2023 Blog is posted, I'm just now getting started on content for that one.

* There are 27 more shopping days left until Christmas 2023. You still have plenty of time to prepare and get ready.

* It has been ∞ (infinity symbol) a number of days that I have hated both Pitt and Penn State.

* I have written 7,381 blogs in the now 18 1/2 years plus a couple of days of being a blogger.

* Older Drone still needs to be sent out for repairs, not a big priority at this time. My little drone is awesome and I really like it....when I take time out to fly it.

* I think I know where I want to do my next drone flight, out by the old county graveyard whenever I get to it.

* It's been about 4 months since the last time I had a soda or really anything carbonated. We actually threw all the carbonated soda that we had here away this past weekend. I would imagine it would taste horrible if I did drink it.

* Tomorrow's Blog is going to have a guest show up. Fat Gus is going to make an appearance, I am excited.

* Still playing Monopoly Go. I think among my friends and family I'm still in 11th place. Kim and Terri and #1 and #2 respectively. Michelle has passed up Randy to take over 3rd place among our group.

* Mountaineers are waiting to see who and when we play in our bowl game. We should know by this time next week.

* How about I start doing my favorite Tic Tok of the week? This is this week's Tic Tok,, I am a bird guy and love Birds. Especially those with big personalities.

* Have a great day

Monday

Well, all good things must come to an end, and that includes the nice and relaxing 4 day weekend that I just had. Now it is time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone of life and get back to doing what it is that we do for a living to make this a better rock to live on.

No Jury duty for me or Michelle today, but we will have to call in this evening to see if we were called for tomorrow. This is how I like to fulfill my obligation, not needed.

The WVU Football Team finished up their regular season Saturday night. They were blowing Baylor out, then Baylor started to dominate before the Mountaineers took charge and won the game with a late touchdown. They finish the regular season 8-4 and will now wait to see what bowl we will be invited to.

Michelle would have went to see her Mom this evening, but someone at the facility I guess tested positive for COVID. Suzanne tested negative but she is in the same facility. So to play it safe Michelle is going to miss this weeks visit.

Have yourselves a great day.

Sunday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit in a quiet household, I'm up explaining to Kiwi about the Hall Rule where you can have a variable on the number of days in a year to achieve the desired age. He looks at me and thinks you humans are stupid.

Michelle and I will be out the door doing our grocery shopping this morning like we do every Sunday. It is part of our normal routine and something that we actually enjoy doing together. Planning out the week's menu and then going to prepare for it. This week will consist of quick meals as we are both potentially scheduled for Jury Duty this week. We don't have to report tomorrow, but we have to call in Monday Night to see if we have to report on Tuesday. I just have this week to fulfill my duty Michelle has to keep calling in until the end of the year.

After shopping there will be the household chores before we return to work tomorrow. I have had a nice relaxing four-day weekend and I have to say it was nice and enjoyable. A much-needed break to say the least.

Have yourselves a great day today, enjoy some time with family and watched the Steelers take on the Bangals at 1:00.

Happy Anniversary of your 21st Birthday Valarie Wolfe

I would like to take this opportunity to help my niece Valarie Wolfe celebrate the 19th anniversary of her 21st Birthday today.

Much like me we have both decided that we are not getting any older, and instead, we celebrate anniversaries of Birthdays. Now I use the 1,000-day calendar, Val uses a 675-day Calender to achieve her desired birthday. It's the Hall Rule, that makes the number of days in a year a variable based on how many days need to be in it to not exceed 21 years of age.

Val is a very inspiring young lady, she is battling a crippling disease head-on and doing it with a smile. She is always one to volunteer and lend a helping hand when needed or just being someone to talk to. I would not trade her for the world.

I'm not sure if Aaron or any of the kids have anything planned for the day, unless it was last night, but you know it will be special and memorable.

If you see this amazing young woman today, make sure that you wish her a very Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday Val.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit in a quiet household, Kiwi and I are up discussing his latest invention he wants to produce and sell, az combination Metric Crescent Wrench / Solar Powered Flashlight / Cheese Knife. He says there are no products on the market that address all three of these uses and he wants to hurry up and push it out to make a $ Billion by next Friday. I wish him luck.

I hope everyone had plenty to eat for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  We did our thing at the Cassville Firehall on Thursday and I think Jim counted 58 or 59 people who showed up to enjoy the feast and socialize. I was very thankful that my Mom, my sister Kim and my niece Brittany all showed up to spend the afternoon with us. It made it a special day for me and one that I will never forget. Brittany brought a lawn ornament for the Auction and Michelle and I teamed up against her Sister Danielle and Roy to escalate the price of the item. We pretty much do this every auction and it started with Roy and I and now Michelle and Danielle joining in. The money always goes to a good cause and this was to cover the expense of the Firehall and some of the other things such as paper products and bulk food for the year and for the year and the excess goes to the next years event. We covered the expenses and then some.

I was off yesterday so I managed to get a number of things done. Dried Laundry and did our weekly Sam's Club trip. I did buy myself a new chair for work. I've been sitting on a wooden kitchen chair and it was just time for an upgrade. I don't know why but I was walking through the isles and said I would like to have that, before I left I did have it in my buggy. Score!!!!

I think my niece Amy got Kaiden and Kynlea an early Christmas Present (I think) and a new family member. His name is Hank and he got to go Christmas Shopping with her and the kids yesterday Morning.

WVU is at Batkir this evening in the final game of the regular season. The game starts at 7:00 this evening. The game will be broadcast on FS1 and will hopefully be a good one.

I have managed to make it through 55% of my Jury Duty assignment without getting called in. No Jury Trials last week and there are none on Monday. My last 4 days of Jury Duty may tell a different tale, but by Friday I will be done with my duty. Michelle has a few more weeks to fulfill her obligation, but I will be done.

If you want to get a little bit of local merchant shopping done, Mylan Park is your place to be with the shop till you drop event that is going on today. It's free to attend and there are going to be about 150 local merchants there selling their wares.

I hope everyone has a great day today, I'm not sure Michelle and I have any plans for the day.

Big Ole Hairy Black Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday!

Today is the traditional start of the Christmas shopping season, but I think Black Friday has lost its excitement over the past few years as it kind of screwed employees times up with spending time with their families over Thanksgiving and fizzled out a little bit. It is Black Friday however and maybe rather than watching the madness we reflect on what it used to be.

I'm off from work today, but I still may have to go in for Jury Duty, as of press time this has not been determined yet. I will not be working for Atmos Energy today as this is a Holiday for them.

Not sure of any plans this weekend as of yet. There is an event tomorrow morning at the Mylan Event Center that is free to attend called Shop Till You Drop. I guess there are going to be a number of local vendors on hand selling their stuff, so if you are looking for something to do tomorrow, this could be a suggestion.

Have yourselves a great day.

I wonder if I have to report for Jury Duty today?

This weeks pic comes from Thanksgiving a few years ago, back to a time when Michelle had short hair but not as short as it is now. It was the annual Thanksgiving Day feast that we have at the Cassville Firehall. I grabbed this picture of Michelle, Hayley, Tyler and Luke after dinner a few years ago.

We are once again doing this again today, it's a great time, a lot of good and some pretty special people. I think Dinner is scheduled at 2:00, come early stay late and make it a day.

Have yourselves a great day today.

Monday

All good things must come to an end, and that does in fact include those fun-filled times that we refer to as weekends. Now it is time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto that grindstone of life for another fun-filled week of doing what we do for a living.

Today West Virginia begins the two-week traditional buck season in West Virginia. Today is probably the most missed day of the week of the year and many others schedule their vacations around it. Thousands of hunters will be out in the woods attempting to land that trophy buck to feed their families, I wish all hunters a very safe day of hunting, let's not have any accidents and make sure that all the humans return to their families safe and sound.

Michelle and I also start our turns with Jury Duty today. I have it for two weeks as I kicked the can down the road last month due to starting a new job and by chance Michelle got called for the full term this time. I have two weeks to serve, I think hers is like 5 weeks. She is excited for it, to me it's something I can do without. I think this is my 4th time being a juror. I've been fortunate the first three, even being dismissed on one of them because I was traveling to St Louis for work for one of them and took my flight itinerary in to show them to get it dismissed.

Have a great day, and make it memorable.

Hi ho hi ho?

Sunday

Here I sit once again in a quiet household, Kiwi and I are up discussing where the AC in the bedroom went to, as I took it out of the window yesterday and stored it away for winter. He understood that because he said to me "Dad. it's getting colder" and I agreed with him.

The Mountaineers played a pretty decent game yesterday, Garrett Green had a heck of a first half and really demonstrated a nice command of the game. It was nice to see the University honor Don Nehlen and put his name in the ring of honor. the man is very deserving of that distinct honor.

Plans for the day are simple, do our grocery shopping for the week and do a few chores around the house. Michelle is going to a birthday party this afternoon for JT, I may go depending on what time we get stuff done around the house.

The week coming up I am only scheduled to work 3 days (Monday - Wednesday). but I am also on Jury duty as is Michelle. We have to call in the night before to see if we have to report the following day. I can see this being a slow week for the courts and not being called this week, but next week may be a different scenario.

Have yourselves a great day today, take some time out and make some special memories with some special people.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here Kiwi and I once again sit in a quiet household, he's up reminding me that I need to get out early and dry laundry this morning as there is a home game this afternoon. I told him Kiwi you are absolutely right I need to get on it early this morning so I can get back and we can go do our Sam's shopping before this town gets crazy.

Students are gone on Fall Break and will be gone all week, unless some of them stick around for the game today. We play Cincinnati this afternoon at 2:30 on ESPN+ for those of you who subscribe (I do). Hopefully the Mountaineers can recover from last weeks beatdown at Oklahoma and send the Seniors away from their last home game on a good note. They will be honoring Don Nehlen today as well.

Michelle has been hinting that she wanted to see Kenny Chesney/Zack Brown/ Uncle Kracker/Morgan Maloney concert in Pittsburgh on June 1st. Tickets went on sale to the general public yesterday so I got her and I a couple tickets for the event. We saw him in I think 2013, so there will be a new countdown coming to my Tuesday's Tidbits this coming Tuesday.

Michelle has embraced the baldness that happened last week. She went to work this week without her wig on 4 of 5 days, she only wore it on Thursday and had no head covering yesterday. I think she looks really good with her head shaved.

Have yourselves a great day today.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday!

Well High School Football is all over for all of the Monongalia County Teams. Morgantown was the only local team to make the playoffs and their playoff run ended after one short week, so the season is over for them as well. It's now basketball season and Morgantown High is both the defending Boys and Girls State Champions.

WVU is playing at home for the last time tomorrow, students will be leaving town so doing anything tomorrow night might be a real problem with so many people coming into town and the students exiting town on their Thanksgiving Break. Traffic should be heavy and then turn into almost non-existent for the next week or so.

If we do anything next weekend it will probably be starting to prepare for the big Thanksgiving Dinner that takes place at the Firehall every year. We got to get our auction items organized and ready for the day, provided Michelle nor I get called in for Jury Duty starting Monday.

Have yourselves a great day.

This weeks pic goes back a few years, Michelle and I are actually in Canada for this picture and that is looking back at Horseshoe Falls at Niagara Falls. The water comes in at two different places, directly to the left of the picture ot more on the American Side and Horseshoe Falls which os more on the Canadian Side (where the Superman II Movie was filmed).

We had headed up north due to a great deal that we found on Groupon for Niagara Falls. The deals are much nice on the Canadian side and there is so much more to do than on the US side.

Have yourselves a great day

Monday

All good things must come to an end, and that includes those fun-filled things we refer to as weekends. Now it is time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone for another fun-filled week of doing what we do for a living. '

Nothing on my agenda for this week, but next week starts my two week stint on Jury Judy and Michelle's 6 or 7 week stint. I was supposed to have been on it but delayed it so I could train on my new job, so they are only making me serve two weeks. A couple weeks later, Michelle got her summons. I'm not sure if they know we are married or if that will influence our ability to serve. If one of us has to step down, this is something that Michelle is fascinated with and I've done it a few times already, so I would let her have the fun.

It was a pretty good weekend, if you leave football out of the equation you use to make that analysis. Morgantown High lost Friday Night and WVU lost Saturday Night. As of press time there is a rumor that Clarksburg native Jimbo Fisher is going to be out at Texas A&M, so Neal Brown's future may be in serious jeopardy if the boosters shave anything to say about it.

Michelle is loving her hair now, I caught her rubbing her head a couple days ago while she was on the phone, that's something I have always done since I went bald.

Have yourselves a great day.

Sunday

Here I sit on a quiet Sunday Morning, Kiwi and I are up yapping about a number of topics, like the fact that a week from now both Michelle and I have to start calling in because we are both on Jury Duty. Strange set of events on how we are both called to serve at the same time.

As you can tell Friday Night's haircutting went off as planned and I have two sisters and a wife who have joined me in the cool hair club. We did it outside and I have to say, I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt and it was freezing outside. I think it was the ultimate show of love and support for Terri.

Plans for the day today, grocery shopping and household chores. Maybe take in a Steelers game at 1:00 as I am writing next weeks blogs. It's something that I do every Sunday so I don;t have to worry about publishing something during the week, then the weekend blogs are written on the weekend.

We are now neighborless. We had a couple living upstairs for a number of years, they are the family that bought Patty's apartments and then were going to buy this place as well as the store, but that never came to fruition. They have lived upstairs 5 or 6 years and now they are living in one of my old apartments at the apartment complex. I lived on this side of the road in the apartments for a year and really liked that Apartment, but that was 35 years ago, The two upstairs apartments were converted into one for Sherri years ago, but I'm not sure if she ever lived there. I will not miss the concrete feet their son had running around upstairs, it's like he landed on his heel everytime he took a step.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Saturday Morning Rambling

Here I sit in a semi-quiet household, Kiwi is up and wants to talk about the day ahead. Me I want to talk about Football and I keep asking him if he will be our defensive coordinator tonight, he said Neal Brown wouldn't fly him to Oklahoma first class so he is on his own tonight.

Well as of press time, we had planned on going to Terri's to do the head shaving for Terri, Michelle, and Kim last night. We had planned it for last Sunday but it all got pushed down the road as Terri was a little under the weather Sunday. By the time this posts, my wonderful wife and my sister Kim will have shaved their heads and will be wearing their wigs for the next few months. I have to say it warms my heart for them to step in and do this to support Terri.

So what is on today's agenda. I'll be heading to the Laundromat this morning. Being I work later in the day now it's just easier to do it on Saturday Morning. I'll run out and dry laundry if Michelle is still sleeping. It all depends on whether or not she is up. Later this morning it'll be a Sam's Club trip to get the bulk items that we may need. We usually do that on Friday's, but the hair cutting last night kind of put that on the back burner for the evening.

Mountaineers are playing on the road this evening at Oklahoma. The game will be played tonight at 7:00 on Fox. We are big underdogs in this game and Oklahoma I'm sure wants revenge for last year and the 2007 Fiesta Bowl in our last meeting.

Have yourselves a great day.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday!

Are you ready for a little bit of High School Football? Tonight will be a big one here in town.  My Morgantown High Mohigans are the only Monongalia County team to have made the playoffs this season as a #15 seed and will travel to Huntington to take on #2 seed Huntington this evening. Good luck to the Mohigans this evening, live to play another day.

The Mountaineers are on the road this week against Oklahoma. This will be the last meeting between these two schools as both Oklahoma and Texas will leave the Big XII to become members of the SEC starting next season.

No plans on min and Michelle's agenda for the day or the weekend as of press time. That can always change on a whim though.

Have yourselves a great day.

This weeks pic goes back to this past weekend when we were at Terri's Benefit dinner and raffle. Being that I grab a lot of photographs, it's not too often that I get into the pictures. My niece Brittany pulled out her phone and grabbed a pic of Mom and me from my camera.

Unsuspecting to me we were being photo bombed from the rear. My sister Kim managed to get in between us and photo bomb this special lost moment in time with me and Mom. I guess her doing this and me having no idea just made it that much more special.

Have a great day.

Tuesday's Tidbits

* Monday is now complete, now we are staring straight down the barrel of a Tuesday, good reason to do a tidbits.

* It has been 21,859 days since I was born, that is 21 years using my new,  new, and improved 1,000-day Calendar. I do have to say I am starting to feel my age or older than 21.

* It has been 7,119 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography. I do love what I do and I can see me doing this into my retirement years.

* 5,707 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, the pizza hut is gone, the movie was 10,000 BC. What a horrible pick I made for a movie.

* 4,910 days ago I proposed to Michelle in the backyard at 4:00 in the morning. Second best decision I ever made.

* It was 4,455 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, for the most part, Michelle and I became husband and wife at the Marilla Center, we poured sand into a vase and said our I do's and we were hitched.

* I have now lived 2,091 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going strong, slowing down but still going.

* Michelle has been living a clean and productive life and beat that alcohol demon 750 days ago today.

* My older Brother Jonathan lived 21,266 days, I've now outlived him by 616 days making me Senior Supreme Sibling once again! Sunday would have been his 61st Birthday.

* I have 2,981 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there, but I love doing what I do. Who knows though, doing what I do I may never retire.

* There are 312 more days until we go to Pittsburgh and beat the Panther's butts in their stadium.

* There are 299 more days to go until the Mountaineers will try to get some revenge here in Morgantown for last weekend when Penn State comes to Morgantown.

* There are 272 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Thirteenth Wedding Anniversary together.

* There are only 134 days to go until the next start of my favorite Season. Spring 2024.

* 102 more days until Phil steps to center stage once again for Groundhogs Day, that's when he tells us we will have an early spring.

* 53 more days to go until my Goodbye 2023 Blog is posted, I'm just now getting started on content for that one.

* There are 48 more shopping days left until Christmas 2023. You still have plenty of time to prepare and get ready.

* There are 25 days until I hit the age of 60. Yeah I know, I'm really older than 21.

* It has been ∞ (infinity symbol) a number of days that I have hated both Pitt and Penn State.

* I have written 7,359 blogs in the now 18 1/2 years plus a couple of days of being a blogger.

* Older Drone still needs to be sent out for repairs, not a big priority at this time. My little drone is awesome and I really like it....when I take time out to fly it.

* I think I know where I want to do my next drone flight, out by the old county graveyard whenever I get to it.

* It's been about 14 weeks since the last time I had a soda or really anything carbonated. That is hard to believe, especially when you consider how much soda I used to drink.

* Still playing Monopoly Go. I think among my friends and family I'm still in 11th place. Kim and Terri and #1 and #2 respectively. I'm trying to catch up.

* Mountaineers are playing on the road at Oklahoma this week. This is the last time these two teams will meet as they go to the SEC next season with Texas.

* How about I start doing my favorite Tic Tok of the week? This is this week's Tic Tok, I was in the target demographic when this show started. It started about the same time as Mr Rogers and Sesame Street.

* Have a great day

Monday

All good things must come to an end including awesome weekends like we just had. Now it is time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone of line and get back to doing what it is that we do for a living.

I have to say this was a very busy but productive weekend for Michelle to say the least. Friday she took off from work to assist Jim and Chris with the Christmas Auction that they had. They had a pretty good auction to say the least, Michelle was checking people in and out for that.

Saturday we had my sister Terri's benefit. I think the event exceeded my expectations, which means it went better than anticipated. Everyone was working like fine-tuned clockwork to pull this entire event off and Amy and Ralph need to take a bow for what they accomplished. You can tell Terri is very well loved. People were leaving before the drawing and giving me their tickets and asking me to keep an eye if they won anything. Smitty won a Basket, Mom won 2 prizes, Chris won I think 3 and Michelle won 6 and I won 1. So we had to put 13 baskets in the back of the car to go home. I think there were over 100 backets to be auctioned off.

Yesterday was supposed to be the day of the barber. Because of Terri's Chemo she is now starting to lose her hair, so both Michelle and Kim yesterday chopped off their hair dow to a short buzz cut. They had both previously ordered wigs, Kim was wearing hers Saturday Evening and Michelle is now starting to wear hers. Funny thing is Saturday night Michelle won a basket (she actually won a few baskets) full of hair care products. However, the event ended up getting cancelled yesterday afternoon because Terri was a little under the weather.

Have yourselves a great day.

Sunday

Here we sit in a quiet household, Kiwi and I are up discussing the events of yesterday and how it turned out to be a great day. He said he wanted to be there, but he was too busy doing bird things to mess with rather than entertaining a bunch of Humans with his brilliance.

Daylight Savings time ended a few hours ago, make sure that you set your clocks back 1 hour or you are going to be ahead of everyone else by an hour. This is the one where we get to gain rather than lose an hour of sleep. Personally, I wish it would just stay daylight savings time and never do a clock change. The reasons we did this is old and outdated as it was for farmers and times have changed.

The Steelers have already played this week on Thursday Night. The Mountaineers played last night so that means after a busy weekend and the extended hour of sleep, a nap might just be on our agenda this afternoon. Michelle has been an absolute trooper between Friday night and the auction and Terri's benefit last night.

Grocery shopping and chores is all that we have planned for the day.

Have yourselves a great day.

Benefit Day

After all the planning and Amy and Ralph going out of their way to pull this event off, today os the day for my sister Terri's Spaghetti Dinner and Raffle Benefit to help raise money to help Terri out to battle the costs from fighting and kicking the hell out of Breast Cancer.

The event starts at 4:00 this afternoon and runs until 8:00. Michelle and I will be going up earlier to assist, I know Nick is making his signature Spaghetti Sauce. There will be at least 25 baskets to raffle off, but there may be more by the time this thing actually kicks off this afternoon. We are hoping for a good turnout to show support for Terri and help her kick Breast Cancer's ugly ass.

The band Helicopter Collective has volunteered to perform music this afternoon for a little while. No idea how long they are going to play, but their volunteering is much appreciated by all involved. Terri said her and Nick used to work with one of them at Ali-Baba's years ago when they worked there.

The event will be 311 Mountainview Road (Google Maps), come out donate some money, maybe win a raffle or two and go home with your belly full knowing that you did something beneficial to a very deserving individual.

Have a great day.

My Morgantown High Mohigans at 7-2 fresh off of a MoHawk Bowl win will be taking on Linsley at home this evening. 4-5 University will be traveling to Oak Hill to try to keep their playoff hopes alive and 3-6 Clay Battelle will be playing host to Magnolia as all the teams finish up the regular season this evening. Teams lucky enough to make the playoffs will start next weekend. Seedings will be set after this weekends games.

Big Christmas Auction this evening at Woodland United Methodist Church. Michelle has taken the day off from work and will be helping set up for this event today and will be working the auction this evening. Stop up and say hello as this will be an awesome event with all kinds of good Christmas decorations and presents for all.

Tomorrow if you are not doing anything, even if you are doing something stop up and partake in a Spaghetti Dinner benefit for my sister Terri as we try t raise money to offset some of the expenses with her fighting breast cancer. She is battling this head-on and is an inspiration to all, come on out and enjoy some spaghetti and buy a book of tickets to try to win one of the baskets that will be raffled off.

Have yourselves a great day.

This one warmed my heart although I got warned from Facebook for my comment..lol I put in the comments for Josh to punch him and I guess Facebook didn't like that.

This pic I saw this weekend, Josh is in his Senior year and wants to continue his education. Val said he is keeping where he wants to go all hush hush, but could thins be indicative of his college choice? Here he is with WVU President E. Gordon Gee I assume over this past weekend.

Have yourselves a great day
