All good things must come to an end and that does include those fun filled things they refer to as weekend. Now it is time to take those collective noses back on that big grindstone of life. Time to start another fun filled week of doing what it is that we do for a living.
Well it is on the road for me today, I'll be working in the middle of the state today and tomorrow, not too far away but far enough away that it would be best if I stayed overnight and worked the other segment tomorrow from there so I can get an early start.
Spoke to my sister Kim a little yesterday and she has went to the dark side, she is now an Android user, until she changes her mind in about two weeks and wants here iPhone back. She is one of those people who camped out all night to get the new iPhone, I just can't see her sticking with an Android, but that is Just my honest opinion. We shall see.
Last day of August, I guess this means bars in Monongalia County can finally open back up without WVU Complaining, now that all the students are back and in class.
Have yourselves a great day.

Sunday
Here I sit yet once again in a quiet household, I'm up collecting my thoughts for the day and wondering yet once again where my co-author is hiding. I'm up with Walk the Line playing in the background as I'm wiping the sleep from my eyes. Michelle's Keurig is fired up and ready for her to make a cup of coffee.
Today is our typical shopping day, we'll be heading out here in a little while to Krogers to do our shopping and chores for the week. We're pretty regimented in our routine and enjoy our Sunday Morning shopping.
This afternoon I'll be doing some prep work for tomorrow and Tuesday when I travel to the mid eastern part of the state to list a couple of segments.
One thing I did do yesterday is Google some of my Grandfather's music titles to see how many different artists have either redone them or recorded themselves playing it live. It is amazing to me all of these years later who do this allowing his music to live on. It would be one thing if it were just one person doing this, it's not because I've found about a dozen of them of people playing homage to him. Enjoy one I found yesterday at the end of this blog.
Have yourselves a great day today.

Saturday Morning Ramblings
Here I site yet once again in a quiet household, I think my co-author has quit or found better things to do with her time, so once again here is a weekend post without the help of Peanut. I'm up watching who knows what and actually just starting to wake up.
Today's plan I have been informed is a trip to Rural King to go and buy some more food for Michelle's backyard friends that seem to be growing. We've spotted 5 deer, a Buck, a Doe and 3 fawns that are now frequenting Michelle's bench where she feeds them. Birds galore, squirrels galore, groundhogs galore, I'm just waiting for the Kangaroos to start showing up for the free grub. It is quite honestly a zoo back there and Kiwi of course has been the master of ceremonies. Yesterday the 5 deer were eating the feed corn Michelle put on the bench and who was under the bench buddying up to our 4 legged guests, none other than my co-author Peanut.
Other than that not much to report, did get both cars inspected this week and I'm planning on traveling for work on Monday and Tuesday. I am going to be far enough away that it is going to call for overnight accommodations. Michelle is traveling for work on Wednesday, so we are going to have a busy week coming up for the both of us.

Big Ole Hairy Friday
Yes it is once again that time of the week that we all look foreword to, when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday....or something like that.
It has been kind of a busy week for Michelle and I. I had to get Pearl (my car) and Ice (Michelle's car) inspected this week as our inspections were due to run out this coming Tuesday Morning. Pearl went first and for the first time ever, I had a car get rejected. Pearl needed an entire exhaust system and the parts needed to be ordered. Right after that Ice was inspected and passed. I did take Pearl in Wednesday afternoon to have a new exhaust system put on her and have her pass the inspection. She is legal now. Ice, is legal but the back brakes are starting to get a little worn, so we're dropping her off this morning and getting new back brakes today. Both cars will be repaired and legal for another year by this afternoon although they are both legal now.
I did manage to get the grass cut Wednesday as well, I knew storms were coming and it was starting to get to a cutting height, so I did so before the storms started to hit causing our grass to really grow on top of what it already was.
The students at WVU are back in full force, the PRT is down this semester so WVU has chartered about 30 buses that are running around town and campus, increasing the already monster headache from the sudden increase of traffic.
Have a great day today, and have a better weekend.

Photo Flashback Thursday
Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out, time to look at some of the 30,000+ images that I have either captured with a Camera, Scanned or just simply stolen off the internet. Little lost moments in time that I post up and relive tight here for everyone while I try to recall the moments around that image. Sometimes it's pretty easy to find that image and sometimes it's a challenge, although one thing it always is is a whole lot of fun for me.
This weeks pic doesn't go back very far, it was just last week when I pulled out my DSLR camera and started to play around in the backyard.
Michelle has 5 bird feeders in the back yard, sets out sweet corn for the deer and also sets out squirrel food for the squirrels. Not to mention that we have Turkey's, Groundhogs and probably various other animals running around the back yard due to Michelle feeding them.
So I created a Facebook album and took a number of pictures, including this one of my good friend and confidant Kiwi. Kiwi is a Green Cheeked Conure and let me tell you this little bird is full of personality to say the least. If I'm sitting outside on the phone and we have her cage out, she will pick up one of her rings in the cage and pace back and forth pretending like she is also having a conversation.
Words like Pretty Bird are in her vocabulary and I think he is learning to say Kitty.
Have yourselves a great day, Kiwi will

Monday
All good things must come to an end and that does include those fun filled things they refer to as weekend. Now it is time to take those collective noses back on that big grindstone of life. Time to start another fun filled week of doing what it is that we do for a living.
Looking at my calendar, it's wide open once again with nothing on the agenda. I know that there are a couple of segments down in the middle part of the state that they want listed for RTI so there is that, I have one here in Morgantown that is done with the exception of two building and right now we are not allowed to enter any buildings for RTI, so that one is hanging an incomplete for the time being.
I still haven't cut grass, something that I will probably get to this week. It's not too high yet, but with all the rain that we have been having that could change at any time.
Michelle is still having her moments of great pain on her route to recovery from surgery. Most of the time she feels OK, but there are times the pain has gotten a little unbearable for her. She is a fighter so it really saddens me to see her suffering and in so much pain. All of her backyard animal friends however are greatly appreciative of her for feeding them.
Have yourselves a great day and the start of a productive week.

Sunday
Here I sit on a quiet Sunday Morning, I am once again attempting to recover from getting knocked out by the Sandman last night. The TV is on behind me but no idea what is playing and of course my co-author is once again no where to be found.
Helena's Birthday party turned out to be a big success, that little girl was definitely spoiled and hats off to both Bethanie and Hayley to all of their planning and organizing, Hayley utilized her Crikcut to make a number of decorations and signs. It was all Winnie the Pooh themed and turned out in my opinion exceptionally well.
Michelle and I will do our typical Sunday, grocery shop, chores, bills, etc for the day. Weather permitting I might even try to cut the grass today or push it off until tomorrow. I'll have to take a look at the extended weather forecast.
Have a good day and make it a special one.

Happy Birthday Moke
I would like to take this opportunity to wish my nephew Moke a very Happy Birthday today.
It seems like it was only yesterday that Pam and George were having their first baby, a small and precious package of a young child that has grown into the Mountain of a man that he is today.
He is a pretty remarkable man, he's an Iraqi War Veteran, a great Husband and one of the best father in the world candidate's for two young children.
Not sure what his wonderful wife Ang has planned for Moke today, but whatever it is it is going to be a special day for him that is for sure.
If you happen to see him today, take a little bit of time out and wish him a very Happy Birthday today.
Happy Birthday Moke.

Saturday Morning Ramblings
Here I sit on a quiet Saturday Morning, Peanut I believe has retired from her job as my co-author and is still off sleeping somewhere. I'm here with the TV on behind me and clearing the sleep out of my eyes.
A congratulations is in store for the little girl who was the flowergirl and mine and Michelle's wedding years ago. She tried out and made football Cheerleader for University Middle School (A combination of Mountaineer Middle and Westwoode Jr High's). Michelle and I are both very proud of her.
Our plans for the day, we will both be attending a first birthday party for Hayley's flower girl. Once again this will he held at the house that Grandpa Newbraugh and Wilma used to live, I've been there a couple of times previously through the years, but it has been decades since I was last there.
It should be a great day, make sure yours is similar.

Well the WVU students are coming back in full force and Morgantown and traffic is going to be a total fustercluck this weekend, especially with parents will be coming with them this weekend. Bars in Morgantown are still closed until the end of the Month thanks to Governor Justice, so that means there will be a number of house parties around town this weekend up until next Wednesday for the first day of classes.
Michelle went down to check on her office yesterday, they are progressing nicely but there still are not any restroom facilities up and running as of yet. They are remodeling the whole 9 story building and starting with the main downstairs where she is located, but they just haven't gotten to the plumbing and fixtures just yet. We are talking about a sizable building.
I'm going to go to a birthday party tomorrow for Hayley's flower girl for her wedding. She will be turning one year old and there is a kicker. That kicker is where the party is being held, it's being held at a friend of theirs house in Westover. I looked on Google street view and thought that house looks familiar. So I went to the county records and pulled up a couple of Death certificates and looked at where a few people lived at the time of death and had my suspicions confirmed. I have been in that house a couple of times. My guess is some of my family members reading this have been in this house many times, my sister Terri spent a lot of time in that house. It was my Grandpa Newbraugh and his Wife Wilma's house. Small world.
Have yourselves a great day.

This weeks pic goes back to a time that seems like just yesterday, it was early in mine and Michelle's dating life and the first time that I had ever taken her to OhioPyle. We went up and traipsed through the rain soaked woods looking for a geocache out in the middle of no where that we did in fact manage to find.
We took Hayley along with us for the day trip and managed to stop and see the sights of the park. This one by chance was taken at the natural waterslide as you first come into the park. I took my camera with me that day and grabbed a pic pics, including this one of the two of them together.
Have yourselves a great day.

Wednesday
How about an actual midweek blog rather than a funny video posted this week? Not that I have a whole lot to say, like I ever do anymore, but we'll give this a try.
There looks like there might be a change in plans for Hayley's wedding next year, nothing is finalized yet but there appears to be a venue change from the Mason Dixon Park to another wedding venue in the area. Details to come at a later date when I know the specifics. It is more of a wedding venue with a lot of options and she is excited about it.
As far as the job search, I keep putting in resume's and keep getting thank you but no thank you letters. I think the one I got yesterday was the fact that I was willing to take a big cut and I'm a little too qualified for their taste. It does tend to get a little bit frustrating. There is a job that I have been short listed not once, but twice in the past and it is opened up once again, but that is just a temporary contract that could be extended. Keeping my fingers crossed.
The WVU students are still returning to Morgantown, classes officially begin next Wednesday (I thought it was today), so be on the lookout for more and more increased traffic around town and campus. The five month break from all the students was awesome though.
Have a great day.

Monday
It's time to take your collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone for another fun filled week of doing what we all do for a living. It's Monday the start of another fun filled week of work and time to take over the world.
Michelle has one more class from last week to complete today from 3:00-5:00 and then she can concentrate solely on work until next Monday when the next week long set of classes begin. She's been pulling double duty for a while and still has a way to go before they enter the home stretch. When they finish this her and their accountant in Charleston will be the only two iSolved certified people in the state.
Nothing on my agenda for RTI this week, we're waiting for some information about some of the residence halls at WVU and then I'll move on to work a couple days around the Elkins area. We never got to do any screening or interviewing this quarter and who knows if we will be working in the 4th quarter. I did find out that our 2021 certifications will not be done on site (St Louis) this year and will instead be done through the means of electronic meeting, but that is down the road.
Michelle is getting more and more flexibility in her hand, too early to start any strength training but she hasn't been needing the ice bag as much if any at all any more. Says her hand feels good it's just a matter of getting flexibility and rehab done.
Have yourselves a great day, do something to make a difference on this rock we reside on.

Sunday Morning Ramblings
Here I sit yet once again in a quiet household, I'm sitting here solo yet once again as Peanut is off somewhere sleeping. It was an inside kind of day for her yesterday so she might be doing a little bit of pouting. I'm up collecting my thoughts for the day and trying to wake up for the day.
Does anyone remember the significance of this day? Every once in a while an event happens that you remember exactly where you were or what you were doing when something happened. Today is a day that I will always remember for some reason. I was in in the backyard playing wiffleball in the afternoon and my Grandmother came out and she was crying a little bit. Word had just came through that the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley had dies at the age of 42. When you are 13 42 seems like forever in the future, when you're 56 age 42 seems like last week. It was 43 years ago today that Elvis died.
Back to reality, today is a day when Michelle and I will do our weekly grocery shopping. I'm wondering with all the students starting to trickle back in town if Krogers will be crowded. Fortunately we go early in the morning so we might be ahead of them, but there are always a number of people there on Sunday Mornings.
Other than that no plans for the day, we didn't get into anything yesterday due to the fact that it rained all day. It was an inside movie watching kind of day and we did just that. Hopefully it's a better day today weather wise, if it is not we are fearing that Kiwi and Peanut are planning a hostile takeover of the household. I saw them plotting together yesterday.
Have yourselves a great day.

Saturday Morning Rumblings
Here I sit once again on a quiet weekend morning, Peanut is no where to be found once again and I'm out here flying solo writing my blog and waking up this morning. No idea what is on the TV behind me and still have sleep in my eyes.
Michelle had her post surgery followup yesterday with her surgeon. Everything aligned up perfectly and they now have a removable splint on her with a sleeve that she can take on and off to shower. She can wiggle her fingers and the pain is much lower that it was while it was in that makeshift cast since surgery. I still swells and gets sore, but the pain so far isn't as intense and she can actually start to grip things now. They are going to wait a few weeks for physical therapy for the strength training, but for right now they just want her to gently work on her flexibility and range of motion. She still has three pins in her arm.
There are no real plans for us today. Hayley and Bethanie (Her Maid of Honor)were here yesterday working on things for Helana's (Bethanies Daughter) Birthday Party next weekend. Tyler stopped by after work as well so we had a little get together and ordered some take out from Eat N Park as they were working in the back bedroom on her Crikcut. The two of them are very creative and I will say they are very good with that thing. Hayley was explaining some of the trouble she was having last week and yours truly with his Geography background was able to explain the difference between Rasters and Vectors and that seemed to be her solution.
Just checked the back yard and Mommy and Daddy Deer (6 point) are munching down on some sweet corn Michelle put of for them. They are so helpful in clearing up all the birdseed and corn that the feeders spill onto the ground and all the feed Michelle accidentally on purpose spills onto the ground.
Have yourselves a great day and make the most of it.

Big Ole Hairy Friday
Peanut taking the Day Off |
We have a follow up appointment with Michelle's surgeon this morning. It's the two weeks after surgery follow up appointment for her wrist so we can see if everything is set and in place properly. It's not causing her as much pain as it was, she expressed it is in the proper alignment now as opposed to before and it's starting to feel better. She still has pain and episodes, but that is expected at this point in the recovery.
Warning, WVU students are due to return this weekend and up until the start of classes this coming Wednesday. Traffic has been increasing and will really increase starting today and the headaches that we have had a five month break from returns for another academic school year at WVU. I would say I'm happy to see them back, but lets be honest this is probably going to spike the numbers in our pandemic. Bars around town are still closed per WVU's request, up until the students return which is kind of horse shit if you ask any of the locals as this is messing with people's livelihoods.
Have yourselves a great day and stay safe and home.

I figure that since we are in the dog days of summer, that I would take a little time out from all the heat to discuss something that I absolutely hate. Despite us being in a little bit of a heat wave, I would just like to take this time to remind everyone that I Hate Snow. Yes this picture from 10 years ago in the back yard looks beautiful, but I just hate that dreaded white stuff being all over the place and for it to be cold.
I'm a warm weather kind of guy, so are my cats and my bird Kiwi who loves this summer time stuff as she can look at something other than the same four walls and interact with real birds rather than the ones she can't see playing on the Amazon Echo Dot in the bedroom.
Have yourselves a great day.

Not Broken
Well I have to say that I am a little crushed this morning. For the past few weeks I have had a series of interviews for my services with that looked to be a great opportunity for me in Mechanicsburg PA.
It started out with the initial phone interview and later went to a skype interview with a number of people. I thought both went extremely well and this was a job that I was going to accept if offered. I had my second interview on July 22nd and was simply waiting to hear if I was moving forward.
I just found out that they selected another candidate instead of me, I felt really good about this and it would have been the perfect opportunity for me, but now it is time to put it in my rear view mirror and once again keep moving forward. I'm a little crushed because I thought I had the job, but like the letter said it was a highly competitive field for this job and I was not the one they chose to hire.
I'm a little bend and crushed, but I'm not broken. Time to once again re-assess.

Monday
All good things must come to an end and that does include those fun filled things referred to as weekends. Now it's time to take our collective noses and stick them back on to the grindstone for another fun filled week of doing what we all do for a living.
After 13 or 14 months in the hospital and rehab facilities, Gerald is going to be coming home today. A simple knee surgery last year started the downward spiral that he miraculously pulled himself out of.
Michelle starts an intense week of training at iSolve University, she spent yesterday printing out all of her materials and going over everything even before she gets started. It's all online classroom so I am trying to schedule some time this weekend where I can say good morning and talk to her...lol. She's going to be busy.
I have some work I can do for RTI, but I think I'll be waiting until tomorrow to do it rather than today. You never know though, I may change my mind. It's not like it's a big rush and we are just waiting for the University to open up before we can even proceed.
Have yourselves a great day.

Sunday Morning Ramblings
Here I sit once again in a quiet household, I'm sitting here watching Penn and Teller's Bullshit and collecting my thoughts for the day. I think I heard my former co-author running around somewhere, but she has changed since Chad left and thinks that that is now her bedroom and doesn't hang out in the living room much unless she is wanting treats or begging to get Meowtside to play.
Michelle and I stopped down to see Jim and Chris yesterday at their store, they are trying to liquidate everything so they can move to the new location that they purchased. Chris said that they are going to try to be out of there by the end of the month.
From there it was a trip to rural king for 80 lbs of wild bird food, 50 lbs of deer corn and 25 lbs of squirrel food. Is it any wonder why out back yard looks like a zoo at times? Michelle gets enjoyment out of feeding all the animals in the back yard, I don't even want to guess how many different breeds of birds are in the back yard. That will last her about 2-3 weeks....lol
Hayley and Tyler stopped by yesterday evening, Michelle promised them Chinese food and they came running for a visit. Chinese food to Hayley is like Pizza to me, she would eat it every day.
Today's activities include doing our grocery shopping and me starting to prepare to partially list a segment here in Morgantown for RTI. I can't complete it because of the types of structures and they are WVU owned. Per our contract at this phase, due the Corona Virus, I am not allowed to enter any buildings to do any listing work so I have to do what I can do and wait.
Michelle is going to have a busy week, she starts classes again this week for work. This iSolved is a large intense program and she is still working towards her certification.
Have yourselves a great day.

Saturday Morning Ramblings
Here I sit once again in a quiet household in the early morning hours. I have no idea what is playing on the TV behind me and I just woke up for a restroom break. I think my co-author quit as she never seems to come around anymore when I'm writing.
Gerald is supposed to go home on Monday, he's been in the hospital or nursing home for some time. I went up yesterday morning and helped Mom get rid of the couch before they delivered his bed. Everything is set up and ready for him to return home now. What an inspirational return fight Gerald has put forth.
Hayley and Tyler are coming down this afternoon for a visit and I think to do some crafts to get ready for next years wedding. I would suppose she is bringing her cricut back to do some cutting. Michelle has promised to feed her Chinese food, she is so easy to bribe...lol
I think my bed is once again calling my name and I don't want to disappoint it.
Have yourselves a great day, make it a memorable one.

I'm hearing some really good news for Gerald, after in excess of a year in the hospital from having knee surgery that lead to other complications, he will be going home on Monday. Spoke with Mom briefly yesterday and she said they are scheduled to bring him home at 4:00 on Monday afternoon. A pretty remarkable recovery considering all of the complications that he had and things like the Corona Virus pandemic going on as well.
No major plans for the day, Michelle is 1 week away from her post surgery follow up appointment. She meets with her surgeon once again next Friday morning at the UTC Office to evaluate how the surgery went. Other than some moderate nagging pain that we ice daily, she doesn't seem to have any complications from it so far. My guess is she will start physical therapy some time in the very near future.
I hope everyone has a great weekend, make it relaxing as Morgantown is about ready to be re-invaded by students in the very near future.

Anniversary Issue of Photo Flashback Thursday.
This weeks Photo Flashback has some very special meaning to it, it is one of if not the most significant day in my life. It was on this day nine years ago that my lifelong bachelorhood had came to an end and Michelle and I tied the bounds of matrimony in our own special way.
We were married by a co-worker of Michelle's and went and became ordained just for the purpose of marrying us, it was on his bucket list of things to do. We were not his first marriage, that honor went to another co-workers family as someone was getting deployed and they wanted to get married before he left. We're not even his last wedding as he performed one a couple of weeks ago to another one of Michelle's former co-workers.
To my wonderful wife I say Happy Ninth Anniversary, next year will be our tenth and we are planning on seeing Reba in concert on that day. My wonderful wife has stuck by me through thick and thin, good times and bad times and has always been my soulmate this whole time. I consider myself very lucky that our paths once again crossed, only this time the timing was right.
Happy Anniversary Michelle, I Love You from the bottom of my heart.

* 4,525 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, seems like just yesterday.
* 3,749 days ago I proposed to Michelle, 4:00 in the morning in the back yard.
* It was 4,177 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, Michelle and I tied the knot with the help of a co-worker of hers.
* I have now lived 912 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going. It was 21 years ago yesterday that he passed.
* I have 4,179 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there.
* The next Backyard Brawl where we beat Pitt's ass in Football is only 758 days away unless some kind of a deal is worked out this year due to COVID.
* There are 367 days until Michelle and I head to Pittsburgh to see Reba in concert. It was postponed this March to July and now they are pushing the tour until next year. It'll be mine and Michelle's 10th wedding anniversary.
* There are only 320 days until the start Spring 2021!!!!!
* 182 more days until Phil steps to center stage again for Groundhogs Day. Phil, his wife Philamina and their kid Phillip Jr have all been hanging in our back yard.
* 167 more days to go until my Goodbye 2020 Blog is posted, this should be an interesting one.
* There are 142 more shopping days left until Christmas 2020.
* My next Anniversary of my 21st Birthday will be in 117 more days.
* There are 2 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Ninth Wedding Anniversary together.
* I have written 6,107 blogs in the now 15 3/4 years since I started blogging.
* No drone flights this weekend, but that has pretty much been my recurring theme this year with that. I do have a plan to fly Hayley's wedding venue sometime this spring for her.
* Michelle is still at home recovering, nothing stops that one armed determined person.
* Still have a couple of segments to list for RTI, both are pretty much local and by local I mean close so neither one will require me to travel too far.
* The next month should be interesting, just watching to see how Morgantown tries to get back to normal during this pandemic.
* Still putting in for jobs left and right, there are some jobs opening up and I'm hoping to hear something from one of them. I may have something in play north of Pittsburgh, we'll have to wait and see. If this works out we would be relocating, but within an hours drive of here. Keep your fingers crossed.
* Corona Virus, you can still track it but it's losing it's steam a little.
* They STILL have not found Mountie Python, the 15' snake that escaped in Sabraton last summer. He is becoming a Morgantown legend now.
* I'm STILL converting some old VHS tapes to Digital Format for Trish. I really need to get back on this as I am such a procrastinator.
* Hi hi hi ho

Monday
Here we go once again, the start of another fun filled week of doing what it is that we do for a living. It's time to stop having all the fun and get back to doing what it is we do for a living. Address each day like we are changing the world and making it a better place to be in.
Today I'll be most likely traveling out of the county to do some more listing work for RTI. They assigned me three new segments and I'm addressing the largest of the three today and it is the only one that is not in the same county that I live in. The good news is, I can realistically have Yann's Hot Dogs for lunch (or breakfast) today, wait, I just realized he's not open on Monday's oh the humanity of now being denied.
Michelle is still sore from her surgery, she will be returning to work today since she has payroll to do and complete.
Speaking of Michelle she woke up yesterday morning kind of sore, I was going to go and do all the shopping but she decided that she wanted to go as well and came along. She is an amazingly strong and independent woman who is someone I would define as resilient in anything she sets out to do.
Have yourselves a great day today, make the very most of it and do something to make this world we live in just a little bit better.

Sunday Morning Ramblings
Here I sit on a quiet Sunday Morning, I think Peanut has quit and doesn't want to be my co-author anymore. Maybe she wants more treats and is on strike or protesting that Cat Lives Matter.
Michelle had a good day yesterday with Chris and Uncle Bull. They started out with going to visit her Grandmother Gigi and then ended up at a big birthday party for Jonny. So to say that they had a full day is a bit of an understatement. Chris did in fact promise to bring her home in one piece and she did accomplish that.
I did manage to get the grass cut yesterday while Michelle was away. It was starting to get a little bit high due to all the rain we had had and I knew that we were supposed to get rain and thundershowers yesterday and with the storm coming up the coast I could surmise that we will be getting some more rain, so I jumped ahead of the game before it got too bad and out of hand.
Today's plans are simply grocery shopping and me setting up to list for RTI one or two days this coming week. So my day isn't going to be completely open and full of naps.
Have yourselves a wonderful day.

Saturday Morning Rambling
Here I sit once again in a quiet household, I'm up watching American Gangster on the TV and waiting for my co-author to wake up and get off the stairs where she has been sleeping all night to assist me in writing this blog.
First things first, Michelle had surgery yesterday on her wrist as I mentioned on yesterday's blog. I spoke with the Doctor and the surgery went perfect and there were no complications. Her wrist is wrapped and she goes back for a post surgery follow up in two weeks to see the surgeon when she will begin physical therapy. She was in good spirits last night, so she doesn't appear to be in too much pain.
Today she will ride along with her Sister Chris and Uncle Bull to go to Jonny's Birthday Party and to go and see her Grandmother. Chris is going to pick her up here in a few hours to head up.
My day's agenda probably includes mowing grass if the weather permits. With the rain that we have been having this past week it has grown a good bit the past couple of days. No complaints here as we have needed the rain and I don't mind riding around the yard and cutting the grass. =)
Have yourselves a great day today
Maker it a memorable one.
