Hump Day

Well we have made it past the first part of the week and we are going up and over the hump today and it's all down hill from here for most. Me on the other hand, I am off tomorrow for Veterans Day, but I have an important meeting Friday, so there will be no extended four day weekend.

Had a couple of nice long phone calls last night. Pam called and we BS's with her for a little over an hour and then Trish called and we BS'd with her for a while. I've got about 7,000 rollover minutes, so it's nice to actually use some of the minutes that I pay for rather than having them expire.

There will be a nice treat for dinner tonight. Once a week (sometimes twice) we do a crockpot meal one night during the workweek. That way we set it before we go to work and let it slow cook all day to arrive home to an awesome meal. Tonight, Hot Sausage Hoagies!!!!!!!!

If I want the hoagies and a day off tomorrow I have to get today in, so hi ho hi ho

Tuesdays Tidbits

* It's Tuesday, I can't think of a better reason to do a tidbits.

* 46 shopping days left until Christmas. I can honestly say that I have started shopping already for someone very special and got them something that they told me that they wanted. It's kind of an unusual gift, but one that can last a lifetime.

* 970 days since mine and Michelle's first date.

* 193 days since I proposed to the love of my life earlier this year.

* It's once again getting that time of the year when the Holidays are coming upon us. I'm not sure who this needs to be addressed to, but they will. Every year there seems to be some kind of drama in this family when the holidays come around. The holidays are a special time a year when memories are created and families are together. If you are the cause of the drama 2010 in this family, stop it. Life is too damn short, quit wasting it on insignificant petty things that only cause headache and heartache. Enjoy life and all that come with it and create memories for not only yourself, but the ones around you.

* Have I ever mentioned that I hate snow? Bring back the 90 degree days and shorts, sandals and T-Shirts. Driving down the road with your windows and the radio playing songs that we all love to sing along to.

* Update on Josh Judy, I spoke with him over the weekend and he's in the Dominican Republic pitching in the winter league. There were some roster moves made recently that may be good news for him. The Indians have until I think the 19th of this month to protect him and name him to the 40 man roster or he becomes a free agent and other teams can claim him. 96 MPH Fastball and two consecutive Championships in the Minors (AA last year and AAA this past season), he's ready for the big money.

Monday Again

I guess all good things must come to an end, and that includes weekends. It was strange that so far there was no High School, WVU or Pittsburgh Steeler football for me to watch all weekend. The Steelers play tonight, but nu guarantees I'll stay up to watch them. I like the Sunday afternoon games.

We'll all be adjusting out bodies to new sleeping patterns now that Daylight Savings time is over with for 2011. We'll go back to daylight savings time on March 11, 2012 and for me it could not get here any sooner. I guess we have Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and me begging Phil to not see his shadow before we see long days again.

Anyways it's back to work today for both me and Michelle. I wonder if it will be dark by the time that we will get home?

Hi ho hi ho, let;s get this party started.

Fall Back

Well, if you are running your normal schedule today and feel like you are early, it's probably because you missed the fact that daylight savings time has ended. Yes, we turned the clocks back last night, so we all gained an hours worth of sleep overnight and the weekend will just be a little bit longer than it was last week.

In todays modern age, I guess it is the non self setting and electronic clocks that we need to pay attention to to see if time did fall back. We have a battery powered clock in the kitchen and one on the stove, other than that all the clocks in the house are self setting and adjust themselves including our alarm clock and the atomic clock on the wall.

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday, it was a lazy day for us filled with home made chili and corn bread, movies and a nap. It feels good every once in a while to be able to do this.

The Steelers are off today and play tomorrow night, so this means no football Friday, Saturday as the Mountaineers were off and today. Maybe another nap will be in the works today.

Lazy Saturday

After a long week at work, I don't have too much planned out for today. Michelle went out last night with some of the wives from my softball team. Our left Fielder Justin Knapp and his wife Samantha and daughter Hayley all are moving to Charleston since Samantha found a new job down in the capital city. So a few of the wives, Girlfriends and ex-GF's got together last night at Applebees to say goodbye to Samantha.

I fell asleep before Michelle got home and briefly remember talking to her about 10 seconds before I fell back asleep yesterday evening.

I think it is going to be a lazy day today that may consist of popcorn and watching a few movies. We got the Karate Kid from Netflix and plan on watching it today. The movie Avatar is on at 8:00 this evening on HBO.

No WVU football today, they are off.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes it is once again that time of the week that we all look foreword to, when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

You looking for some High School Football? Well you will not find any High School Football this weekend in Monongalia County. Morgantown High and University High have both completed their seasons and are waiting for the playoffs to begin next week. Clay Battelle does close out their season tomorrow at Madonna and are the only Mon County team to play this weekend.

WVU is off this week, trying to regroup from a two game slide and will play Cincinnati next Saturday here in Morgantown. Hopefully Coach Stewart can have a heart to heart with the Offensive Line Coach. This has to be the center point of all our troubles and is arguably the worst offensive line I can ever remember at West Virginia University. Something needs to be done to try to salvage the season, and some very serious changes need to happen in the offseason. I said last year that they were the worst offensive line I had ever seen here, and they all returned. I had hoped for some improvement, but they have regressed and have been the primary reason the offense has struggled this season. That and they can't seem to stop turning the ball over.

Oh well, life is like that in a small town without Bufford Pusser as your Sheriff.

Hi ho hi ho, let's get this day over with.

Thursday

We are getting closer and closer to the weekend, it's Thursday. Don't have too much to yap about, other than I got my new work computer hooked up yesterday. 12 GB of Ram and a quad core 64 bit Xeon processor, talk about a machine that needs to be water cooled. I think it runs on Diesel rather than electricity...LOL

I hate to admit it, but summer is fading farther and farther away in our memories. Leaves have fallen off the trees and we are starting to look at the holidays. I'm a spring and summer kind of guy, so to say that this makes me a little sad is an understatement.

Eye Exam

I had my what will be now yearly diabetic eye exam yesterday afternoon. Went to the eye clinic at WVU Hospital and had mine. Last time I did this earlier this year, it was a cataract that needed to be removed from my right eye. My left eye has a slight cataract (everyone pretty much does by certain ages) but everything is fine and my eyes are very healthy.

That's good news considering when this year started, I was basically blind in one eye.

So that was good news.

Tuesday

I was going to do a tidbits today, but I thought I would change it up a little bit. It's getting to the point where my blogs are becoming nothing short of predictable.

I did manage to get a new KVM switch hooked up in my office yesterday. I had my regular computer, an older computer I no longer use, my administration computer and just got a new decked out Z800 workstation all in my little office. I have everything running off my dual displays and one keyboard and one mouse.

I had a smaller switch that would change one monitor and two computers, but I just got a brand new one with my brand new computer (second new computer in a year). I love it when the people are trying to get money off their budget's I get all kinds of new toys.

Oh well, it is election day, make sure you get out to vote.

Bad Weekend

I guess not all of them can be good ones, I happened to have a bad one. yesterday was a total disaster from the very get go.

Fantasy Football? Wow, what can I say other than I had a very bad weekend. I basically lost in all four leagues that I play in. Lost a couple head to heads and in the other two I basically screwed the pooch with this weeks output.

I guess just like good weekends, bad weekends end also.

Trick or Treating

We made our yearly track to Jean's protect her home from all the ghosts, ghouls and goblins that tend to roam around East Gate once a year.

I managed to grab a few pictures that I put on my website and some of them up on Facebook of the evenings festivities.

It all started out at Michelle's Sisters house to help her Nephew celebrate his 30th birthday and then turned to handing out Candy to what I would guess would be around 400 trick or treaters we received this year.

We were ready this year, we had 600+ pieces of candy assembled that everyone purchased and may have had 150 left when the evening was over with (of course there was sampling going on and some costumes earned double candy).

Michelle was once again the candy hander outer, as she seems to really enjoy that role. This was her third year that she has volunteered to hand out tot goodies and treats to all the little kiddies.

Once the night was over, we came home to retire for the evening. Michelle has been under the weather most of the week and it was once again starting to catch up to her. So we came home and went to bed early.

Very Disappointed

After watching last nights game against UCONN, I have to say that I am really disappointed in the performance the team put forth last night.

I was driving home with Michelle and I heard an interview with one of the players, and I said to her we were going to lose. Something just isn't right with this team, and I think I heard it last night.

The Offensive line has to be one of the most horrendous that I have ever seen while being a fan of the Mountaineers. They were horrible last season and they got worse this season. Same group of guys, that were here last year, they just didn't seem to progress any.

Looking for some football, well the High schools were showcased last night at the MoHawk Bowl. The Mohigans whooped the Pigeons 27-6, but like that is anything new, it seems to happen every year.

Tonight however belongs to the Gold and the Blue as the West Virginia Mountaineers will visit UCONN tonight to try to end their one game losing streak and try to get back on the winning track for the season. Hopefully Geno will be like the Geno of earlier in the season and not the Geno from last Saturday. Last season it was some late game heroics from Noel Devine that gave the Mountaineers the win.

Let's hurry up and get this day over with and get this party started.

Hi ho hi ho, one more time this week.

Thursday, October 28, 2010

MoHawk Bowl

Once a year here in Morgantown West Virginia there is a High School Football game between two of the cities largest school. The Morgantown Mohigans and the university High Pigeons will do their yearly battle this evening on the gridiron. Now I'm not going to say that I am biased towards any Mohigan School, especially when they play the Pigeons, but I have a feeling Morgantown will once again prevail over University High.

Both teams have managed to get off to an 8-1 start on the year, the Mohigans were beaten by Steubenville Ohio and the Pigeons lost to the West Virginia School of the Blind, but it was a close game.

My prediction for the night will be continued Mohigan dominance over the Pigeons.

Hump Day

It's up over that hump and looking towards the weekend kind of a day. It's when you can put the first couple days of the week in the rear view mirror and look ahead.

I didn't know until yesterday, but my brother Gary had surgery on his ear yesterday. I guess his ex-girlfriend hit him up side the head with something and busted his ear drum and he had surgery to repair it yesterday. I heard about it after Trish text messaged me asking me if I was OK after reading a Facebook post by Val. It was nice to know someone cared, but it was the wrong Uncle who was having surgery.

I'll update everyone as I have updates as to his status and how he is doing. Personally I think he's having a hair transplant to stop hearing from me that he's going bald, but that's just my interpretation. =)

Oh well, hi ho hi ho

Tuesday's Tibdits

* It is once again Tuesday, my favorite day of the week to do a tidbits. So, here it does.

* It has been 956 wonderful days since I was blessed with having my first date with the love of my life.

* 179 days ago I asked her to Marry me and she said Yes.

* 60 Shopping days left until Christmas. Is it really coming back up upon us that quickly? Wow, yeah, we're a couple of months away now until the fat man in the red sleigh rides around giving toys to good little girls and boys.

* Coming home yesterday was murder. There was a big wreck up the road from our house and it just basically brought this side of town to gridlock. We ended going about 15 miles out of our way to travel a half a mile home.

* I have just remembered one of the best things to curb my appetite, Dill pickles. Low carbs, filling and fulfills that crunch factor.

* Happy belated birthday to Michelle's nephew Jon, I missed it in yesterdays blog.

* Hi Ho Hi Ho

Finally started doing our Pumpkins

I think we may be a little behind everyone else as far as getting their Halloween Pumpkins decorated. Michelle and I finished ours last night finally. We bought a couple for me Chad and Laiah, and another one for Hayley top do.

Chad and Laiah were doing a werewolf theme on theirs and I'm not quite sure what Hayley is going to do with hers.

It was a lot of fun, I enjoyed doing this last year and once again this year. This year however we broke out the dremel tool to assist us a little. There would have been an aweful lot of sawing had we not used it.

Looking forward to handing out candy again this season.

Hi ho hi ho

Sunday Morning

I'm siting here in a quiet living room. TV on in the background and a house full of sleeping people. I think even the mice would be sleeping if we had any.

Yesterday was a tough loss for the Mountaineer Football team. They played hard, but Syracuse just wanted it more than we did and we could not overcome their blitz and handed the Mountaineers a 14-19 loss for only the second loss of the season.

It was a tough one to watch as our usually poised, but young QB became a little rattled after throwing a few INT's in the first half.

Hopefully we can regroup and get ready to win Friday night against UCONN.

Saturday, October 23, 2010

It's Homecoming

It's homecoming here at West Virginia University. The Mountaineers will be hosting the Syracuse Orangemen today at noon.

Not planning on attending, going to watch it on TV and get a few things done around the house.

Friday, October 22, 2010

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes it is once again that time of the week that we all look foreword to, when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

You looking for some football tonight? The Morgantown Mohigans travel to John Marshall this evening and University hosts Preston. It'll be the last tune up game for these two teams before next weeks battle of the Titans MoHawk Bowl. Clay Battelle is home against Tygarts Valley.

College football, it's homecoming here in Morgantown for the West Virginia Mountaineers as they play host to the Syracuse Orangemen.

On Sunday the Steelers travel to Miami in Ben's second game back on the season.

Long day yesterday, so today will probably be a short one for me. So hi ho hi ho

Pittsburgh Bound

Woo Hoo, I am out of the office on travel again today, twice in one month!! Going back to Pittsburgh to the Westin Hotel for an ESRI Seminar all day. I enjoy the chance to get out of the office and travel, even though it is less frequent than it had been previously, but I'll take it.

Heading up with a few guys from work, so it should be a fun and educational day. ESRI always puts on a first class seminar, especially when in larger cities like this.

Hump Day

hey this week is just a rolling on a long, we'll be at another weekend before we even realize it.

We already have dinner cooking for this evening, we've got some good home made chilli in the crock pot slowly cooking all day long and Michelle is going to make some cast Iron Skillet Corn Bread to go along with it. We made a batch a couple of weeks ago and have been cooking with the crock pot one day of the week for the past few weeks. Last week it was home made beef stew.

Oh well, hi ho hi ho

Tuesdays Tidbits

* It's Tuesday, I can;t think of a better reason to do a tidbits.

* For those of you keeping track, there are only 67 more shopping days left until Christmas.

* It's been 172 days since I proposed to Michelle.

* It's been 949 wonderful days since I had the pleasure of taking the love of my life out on our first date.

* I will once again be traveling to Pittsburgh for work this week. I'll be in the Burgh all day Thursday. Different location, I'll be across the river and into the heart of downtown and I'll be there for educational purposes rather than for a specific task at work. Either way, it'll be a day out of the office.

* Had a wonderful time last night with my Michelle. My boss was feeling a little bit under the weather and could not make it to the CAC to see Cirque Dreams Illumination, so he gave me his tickets and I spent a wonderful evening with Michelle seeing some of the worlds best acrobats. The look on Michelle's face was priceless.

* A heart felt thank you to my boss for the tickets. I've wanted to see them the previous couple of times that they came to down, I just never have.

* Hi ho hi ho

Back to it.

I guess all good things have to come to an end. It was a good and relaxing weekend, started with Mountaineer Madness on Friday evening, and ended with the Pittsburgh Steelers manhandling the Browns 28-10. James Harrison, who is one of the developers building where the old Chico dairy building was located, had a couple of knock out hits. He hit Josh Cribbs so hard that my guess is Cribbs hit the field unconscious, like a rag doll. It was a definite knockout.

Let's see, the Mountaineers won, the Mohigans won and the Steelers won. I'm looking good in fantasy football also for the weekend, but tonight's game still needs to be played before I can claim any victories.

Oh well, the fun is over with and reality is back. It's time to put the nose back on the grindstone again for the week.

Hi ho hi ho

Senior Homecoming Dance

Yesterday was Morgantown High's homecoming dance, Hayley and her best friend Angelina and their dates all stopped by for a few photo opportunities before they left for the evening.

She had found and ordered her dress earlier this week from California, surprisingly they had very quick shipping and she had it like the next day after she ordered it. I was actually quite impressed.

I thought she looked very beautiful yesterday, Michelle helped her do her hair before we took our photos and she left for the evening.

Happy Birthday Brittany Dae Cummings

I would like to take this special opportunity and wish my niece Brittany Dae Cummings a very Happy Birthday today. I don't know where the years have gone, it seems like jut yesterday I was sitting in the waiting room at Ruby Memorial and they were wheeling this tiny little bundle of joy out in the hallway.

So, if you happen to run into Brittany today, make sure that you wish this lovely little college sophomore the very happiest of birthdays.

Are you looking for a little High School Football? How about the game of the week this week. The #8 ranked Morgantown High Mohigans will avenge University High's loss last week as they play host to the #3 Brooke Bruins for homecoming tonight. Brook got the best of Morgantown last season, now the Mohigans are the Mohigans again and ready to hand the Bruins their second loss of the season.

University High will travel to John Marshall tonight and try to get back on the winning track and and Clay Battelle will play host to Cameron. Here is to all the local teams, may they all bring home victories tonight.

Speaking of Football, anyone catch the Mountaineers beat South Florida last night 20-6 on ESPN.

If you are looking for something to do tonight, tonight at 8:00 at The WVU Coliseum (gates open at 6:30) you can see the first Basketball practice of the year for the Mountaineer basketball team. Come out and see the first practice of the year and see the Final 4 banner hoisted into the air. Michelle and I go every year, let e know if you would like to meet us there.

Hi ho hi ho....

Game Day

Yes it is Thursday, but it is also game day here in good ole Morgantown West Virginia. Bill Stewart will lead his 25th ranked West Virginia Mountaineers onto the field against the University of South Florida in what should be a good game.

The Bulls, who have not been in the league for that long have had the Mountaineer's number in three of the last four seasons that we have played them. WVU's last win coming two years ago during the "White Out" that was Pat White's last game to play in Mountaineer Field.

However South Florida is coached this year by Skip Holtz, who when he was at East Carolina gave the Mountaineers their worst defeat of the Bill Stewart era. Former South Florida coach Jim Leavitt, though very successful, was fired this past off season for basically being an asshole.

Hi ho hi ho and Let's Go Mountaineers!!!!!

Wednesday, October 13, 2010

Hump Day

Well considering that this is hump day, this week has just been sailing on by. I guess having Monday off helped, plus the Mountaineers will be playing Football tomorrow night, so this work week is going to be quick.

I think Hayley has found her dress that she wants to wear this year for Homecoming. She's going to order it today and it'll be here before Saturday. I'll grab as many pictures as I can before she goes to the homecoming dance.

Michelle has dinner on the stove already, it's going to be a home made beef stew kind of a kinght for us. We prepared it last night and have one batch cooking in the crock pot right now and will remove it and put the larger batch on when we head our for work. The kids lover her beef stew.

Tuesdays Tidbits

* It's Tuesday, can't think of a better reason to do a tidbits.

* Talked to Pam last night, Moke and Ang have arrived in Myrtle Beach for their honeymoon.

* 74 Shopping days left until Christmas.

* It's been 165 days since mine and Michelle's engagement.

* 942 days ago Michelle and I went out on our first date together, turned out to be the luckiest day of my life.

* After a nice relaxing four day weekend, I have to return to work today. I can't say that I haven't enjoyed myself. Has a couple relaxing days, went to a surprise Birthday party for a close friend and went to a wedding. I would say it was a full and eventful four days off for me.

* I wanted to stop and see President Clinton yesterday, but I ended up working on the car and was talking to my Sister Pam who stopped by for a visit and brought me some haluski!!!!

* Hi ho hi ho

Columbus Day

I'm one of the fortunate people who have today off as a paid Federal Holiday. I'll see if I can make the most of it.

Went to Moke and Ang's wedding yesterday, it turned out to be very beautiful and a good time was had by all. I think I managed to snap 169 pictures throughout the day, some good some not even in focus, but you can view all the pictures that I took right HERE on my site. These are the full sized images, for those of you with Facebook, I also have them all uploaded to there in this Album.

For those of you interested, former President Bill Clinton will be in Morgantown and speaking at the Hazel Ruby McQuain Amphitheater this afternoon at 2:45 campaigning for Joe Manchin. This will be the former President Clinton's second visit in the past five months as he was here in May for the West Virginia University graduation.

Have a great day.

Wedding Day for Moke and Ang

It's 10-10-10 and that means that two very special people will be tying the knot today. Moke and Ang have dated for a number of years, they are long time, back to the time when they were even young High School Sweethearts.

They have been through trials and tribulations, they have lived in different states and even lived in different parts of the world as Moke was deployed to Iraq last year serving our country. They have been through a lot together, yet they have overcome any and all obstacles and today will officially tie the knot in matrimony.

I look back through my pictures as I am writing this blog and see and remember these two through the years and how they have always been synonymous with each other. Each becoming the person that defines them today, yet able to hold on to that love an innocence that we have all come to enjoy seeing from them.

I am very proud of Moke and I very honored today to witness the Union today and Mr and Mrs George and Angela McClain.

Saturday, October 09, 2010

Football Saturday

It's a football day in Morgantown as the UNLV Rebels will be coming into town today for a 3:30 kickoff this afternoon. The game will be broadcast on ESPN 3, or channel 14 for those of you here in Morgantown. The Mountaineers return to action for the first time since the Loss to LSU two weeks ago and are ready for one final tune up before we enter into Big east Play Thursday night.

Michelle and I plan on watching the game here and then have plans for early in the evening, before we get ready for Moke and Ang's wedding tomorrow.

Have a GREAT DAY and Let's Go Mountaineers!!!!

For me however, I have started my weekend early and it's a four day one at that. Monday is Columbus Day which is a Federal Holiday, so I am off for that, plus I'm off for today because of a few long days this past week. So what is the end result, a nice relaxing four day weekend for me =)

Looking for some football? The big game in this town is when the #3 and Undefeated University High Hawks take on #7 Brooke at Home. The Mohigans will travel to North Marion to kick the dog snot out of Fraudrigeuz's alma mater  and the Cee Bee's of Clay Battelle will travel to Valley Whetzel to play.

Looking for college football? The Mountaineers are at home tomorrow to host UNLV at the Stadium in a final tune up before they enter into Big East play next Thursday night at home.

I hope everyone has a great day, I know I will.

Thursday, October 07, 2010

Early Weekend

It has been a long week at work for me, and today is probably going to be my last one until next Tuesday, barring some emergency situation I have to handle. I'll have my weeks worth of billable hours in today and Friday will be all mine if all goes as planned.

Monday is a Federal Holiday (Columbus Day), and will mark two complete years at NETL (with SAIC and currently with Sextant). So, this means I am getting ready to embark on a four day holiday weekend.

The sad thing is that days are starting to get shorter and the temps are starting to get colder. I'm always a spring and summer kind of guy, Michelle loves fall which means we should extend these three seasons by a month and eliminate winter.

Let's get this party started, Hi ho hi ho.

Hump Day

Home after a long exhausting day yesterday, I am ready for a nice easy day. I think I have technically however crossed over the hump myself, the rest of the week should be a breeze for me. Friday even appears to be a shorter day for me if it exists at all and Monday is a Holiday for me.

Hayley after a nice couple of day break resumes with the final three nights of her play Sweeney Todd starting tonight. It ran last Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The cast and crew were given a couple of days off Monday and Yesterday and all resumes tonight, tomorrow and finishing up its run with a Friday Night Finale.

Wedding plans this weekend as Moke and Ang are planning on tying the knot on Sunday.

Have a great day, hi ho hi ho

Going to be a Loooooong day

I head to work at my normal time today, but to say this is going to be a long one will be an understatement. it's going got be a tie wearing kind of day and it could also be a 15 or 16 hour day when it's all said in done.

I have meetings in Pittsburgh at 5:00 prepping for a 6:00 and then followed by a 7:00 that I have been told may run late also. Then I get to drive my happy but back to Morgantown after the meetings.

Everything is in Downtown Pittsburgh, but fortunately it's all in Station Square, so I wont have to cross the river and can stay out of the majority of traffic that is the downtown headache at Rush hour. We'll be at the Sheraton, which is the hotel at the foreground of the picture, so it'll be an easy in and an easy out for the city.

It's all about Carbon Sequestration, I could have sat there for all three days or go up tomorrow for a couple of hours for what I need to be there, for.

Monday, October 04, 2010

Monday

Why oh why do Mondays have to show their ugly faces each and every week? It's the one thing that seems to always screw up a perfectly good weekend.

I guess next weekend I wont hate Monday as much as it's a Federal Holiday and I'll be off work, but that is NEXT week and not THIS week. At hand now is this week and this weeks activities. I'm going to have a very busy and tiresome day tomorrow. After working and preparing a few demonstration posters, I'll be extending if not doubling my workday and going to Pittsburgh in the evening for a Carbon Sequestration Partnership meeting at Station Square. It will be a VERY long day.

Hayley should get a much deserved and much needed day off from Sweeney Todd today and tomorrow before finishing up its run the latter part of this week. I know she is having a lot of fun, but the tedious act of juggling that and school is starting to wear on her and she is in need of a little bit of a break.

Oh well, hi ho hi ho

Sweeney Todd

Last night Michelle, Chad, Jean, Kayla and myself ventured to the Met Theater to see the Morgantown Theater Companies production of the Play Sweeney Todd.

I have to say that it turned out way better than my expectations and this was very professionally done, I left the theater a few hours later just simply amazed. The entire cast and crew put on an absolutely flawless presentation. Maybe realizing last night that Morgantown has a lot of talented stage actors.

I managed to get as many pictures as I could last night and they are all available for viewing on my picture site for any and all who would like to experience last nights performance.

The play continues tonight, then takes a two day break and resumes Wed, Thursday and culminating next Friday evening.

I have to say that for the last month or so Hayley has been really busting her rear end to get ready for this production. I think all of us who were in attendance last night including her own Brother who's hat she managed to be able to steal during the play and her Mother were very proud of her last night. I've saved my program and my ticket, there is an area for autographs, maybe I'll ask her for one this morning and put that in the safe.

Have a great Day and GO STEELERS!!!

Saturday Morning Ramblings

I've been up a few hours, but kind of took a nice long nap on the couch this morning watching a few movies.

We're going to try to head up to Bridgeport this morning and hook Mick's internet up before coming home and attending Hayley's play this evening at the Metropolitan Theater this evening. I'm thinking the show starts at 7:00, but that was last nights show time. I'mm have to find out what time todays show is playing.

Looking for High School Football? The Morgantown High Mohigans will try to bounce back after last weeks beating by traveling to Preston tonight to play the Knights. The undefeated University High Hawks are at home against Fairmont Senior and Clay Battelle is idle this week as are the WVU Mountaineers.

The Buckwheat Festival is still going on in Preston County, make the trek up and get yourselves some good ole buckwheat cakes.

Once again Hayley is in the play Sweeney Todd that is playing at the Metropolitan Theater. Michelle and I will make it to see her sometime this weekend, if anyone would like to possibly go with us to watch her, please let us know.

For those of you interested, Rich's farm's Fright Farm has started for the 2010 season.

BUCKWHEAT CAKES!!!!

It's that time of the year again in North Central West Virginia, Preston County is getting ready to start the 2010 version of the Buckwheat Festival today.

Buckwheat cakes I guess are an acquired taste, and it has been one that I have definitely acquired. I'll need to somehow make it up to Preston County in the next few days so that I can partake on my yearly Buckwheat Cake and Sausage Dinner.

I'll also be busy watching Haley perform Sweeney Todd at the Met Theater this weekend. I'm not sure when we are going, but if anyone would like to go with us, it's for a good cause and Hayley would love the support.

Happy Birthday Bill Filcheck

Surprise, two years in a row I have remembered one of my most loyal readers birthday. Ironically next year Michelle and I are going to give him to scratch something off of his bucket list, but today I am going to wish Bill a very Happy Birthday.

I would put the word out to all of his co-workers to wish him a Happy Birthday, but I think we all know that he is playing hookie today.

Amyways, Happy Birthday Bill.

Hump Day

Well we have made it through the first two days of the week, now it's just time to get over that hump and start our downward journey towards another weekend.

It's been an eventful week for me at work to say the least, but things are working out better than ever and I am as we can say swamped right now with some requests and it looks like my days may even be getting busier.

What happened to Summer? Did someone hide it?

Tuesdays Tidbits

* It's Tuesday, can't think of a better reason to do a tidbits than that.

* 928 Days since mine and Michelle's first date.

* 151 days since I proposed and she said yes.

* 88 More shopping days till Christmas.

* 313 days left of the single life.

* Michelle finally made it back to work yesterday after being off the better part of last week. She still has some stomach problems, but for the most part she is doing much better.

* I upgraded my picture site a few weeks ago and noticed that my favorite template is not really that compliant with it. Maybe I'll have to switch a few things up on the overall look.

* Maybe I can get a chance to sit down and watch the Steelers play this weekend, missed them the last two.

Kaiden's Birthday party and Back to Work

Yesterday we celebrated Kaiden's Birthday party at Amy and Ralph's place. I definitely made it Picture Taking Moment with so many opportunities and I placed them up on my site.

For a two year old little boy, I would say that he had a great birthday getting a lot of gifts and having a whole lot of family and friends around to play with him.

The theme was Big Truck, and boy did he get a few big trucks. He was actually getting tired and they didn't have enough time at the party to honestly be able to keep his attention for the entire time.

Today, well it's back to the grindstone for both me and Michelle. She's returning after being out and sick for the better part of last week. She is doing much better, but I wouldn't say she is 100% as of yet.

Possible Wedding Venues

yesterday Michelle and I went out and checked out a couple possible wedding venues that we are looking into using for next year. Our first stop was at Camp Muffly. A very nice place and we would have access to the entire area where the wine and jazz festival took place. It has a playground, three pavilions including a large grill and restroom facilities.

There is also a pool on the site, so this is also a possibility. We both liked it, it was definitely spacious and provided shade for a hot summer August day. It was quite large which could be a negative thing, as we would have access to three pavilion, but one is quite a distance away from the other two.

The other venue we checked out was Dorsey's Knob, not so much the lodge, but a pavilion on the grounds that has a very scenic view that could be used for the wedding and the reception. Ironically as we drove by yesterday they were actually setting up for a wedding at this location as you can see by the picture.

We liked both places and have considered the pros and cons about both facilities. Dorsey's knob is a large park and is maintained by BOPARC. The restrooms are about as clean as I have ever seen at an outdoor facility anywhere.

There is a lot to do at see around this property.

The place does hold special meaning to me as it was the subject of my Senior Thesis in College, or at least the historical aspect of it all.

For anyone who would want to turn around and venture to the top of the rock, I promise it will be well worth it as it is absolutely gorgeous up there. You feel like you are top of the world, but believe it or not even thought it may look like it from there, it is not the highest point in Mon County.

We still have some time to decide which venue we want to use and at this time both are available for the time period that we want.

Weekend

I think me and Michelle are not planning on doing anything today other than resting. We have a birthday party to go to tomorrow and the WVU game is this evening when we travel to LSU, so today might just be a day of relaxation.

I think we have both earned it, plus I don't want her over doing anything so she can fully recover before we have to return to work on Monday.

Happy Birthday Kaiden Dalton

I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know that today is Kaiden Dalton's second Birthday. It's been two wonderful years ago today that he graced us all with his presence and we have all been better people since then.

Amy and Ralphie are planning his birthday party this Sunday at their home.

I have it on inside information that he wants a "Big Truck" for his birthday.

Happy Birthday Kaiden.

First off, Michelle was released from the hospital yesterday and is now home safe and sound.

Now onto football. Looking for some High School Football? University High tries to keep their unbeaten record in tact as they travel to Hedgesville tonight. Clay Battelle will host Clay Springs Maryland tonight for the nights other game. The Morgantown High Mohigans travel to Steubenville Ohio to take on National Powerhouse Steubenville Big Red tomorrow afternoon at 1:00.

The Mountaineers travel to LSU for a game tomorrow night to take on the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge.

Update on Michelle

Sorry I couldn't post too many updates on Michelle yesterday, the Guest Connection for the internet at the Hospital is not working and I worked yesterday.

She is still in the hospital and stayed once again last evening. She had both an Upper and Lower GI and they are going to perform another procedure today to look down into her stomach.

To this point, we honestly do not know anything yet. The results so far have came back positive, yet she is still has some serious abdominal pains that is sidelining a very strong person with a large tolerance level. Hopefully we will find something more out today.

A Heart Felt Thank You

Yesterday was just one of those days, I had a busy day at work scheduled and received a call yesterday morning that they were rushing Michelle to the hospital by Ambulance.

We still do not know what is wrong with her, they are going to be doing a series of tests today to try to pinpoint exactly what was wrong.

There were a lot of people to inform between her family, my family and close friends. Facebook became a very useful tool to be able to communicate what was going on with updates being able to reach as many people who should needed to know as possible.

The response we got from her family, my family, and our friends was overwhelming and amazing. I had to come home to get my phone charger because I was answering so many phone calls.

I would like to thank everyone for their concern, their prayers, their offerings of anything and everything to us. It was quite heartwarming to know that she has so many friends and family that were concerned about her well being.

From both me and Michelle, once again thank you to all.

Tuesdays Tidbits

* It's Tuesday, can't think of a better reason to do a tidbits than that.

* It's been 921 days since mine and Michelle's first date.

* 144 days since our first date.

* 95 Days left until Christmas.

* 320 Days until our wedding.

* Looking for something to watch on TV tonight? Turn it to channel 19 here in Morgantown (Comcast) to watch Versus. The subject of many of these blogs will be the closing pitcher tonight as the Columbus Clippers will be playing for the AAA National Championship tonight after winning the Governors Cup last week. Many of these players will be added to major league rosters after tonight's game.

* Last day in my office this week for all of us to be there, by Thursday I will be the only one there for the rest of the week.

Weekend is over

Another fun filled weekend has come and gone. Another weekend of enjoyment, and relaxation, but in my case there was a little bit of illness associated with it.

On the football front the Mohigans, Mountaineers and Steelers were all victorious for the weekend making my football weekend a successful one. Can't say as much about my fantasy teams, but the weekends games are not over with as of yet either.

As a heads up on a multiple time subject on my blog. Josh Judy will be playing Tomorrow night on Versus TV (Channel 19 on Comcast) for the AAA national Championship after his Columbus Clippers recently won the Governors Cup. He'll be on tomorrow night, catch him if you can.

Yesterday and Today

Yesterday Michelle traveled to the Metropolis of Wana West Virginia for Ang's bridal Shower. She said that it turned out rather well and that she had a pretty good time.

While she was doing that, I was in front of the TV watching WVU beat Maryland 31-17 at Mountaineer Field. I would have to say we played a very solid first half of football.

On to day, We'll be traveling to Core WV for Calvin's Birthday party at 2:00. We will probably have it tuned into a station carrying the Steelers game which starts at 1:00.

All of this after our normal Sunday morning routine.

Saturday, September 18, 2010

Happy Birthday Calvin Michael McClain

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my Nephew Calvin Michael McClain a very Happy Birthday today.

Pam and George will be hosting his birthday party tomorrow instead of today because of a few event conflicts like Ang's bridal shower and the Mountaineer Football game that is being played today in town.

If you see or talk to Calvin today, make sure you wish him the very happiest of Birthdays.

Did someone say football? The Undefeated Morgantown Mohigans travel to east Fairmont this evening to take on East Fairmont in a battle that could also be called a game between two of the areas best bands. The University High Hawks are at home and hosting Elkins and Hundred travels to Blacksville to play Clay Battelle.

You say you want college? Bring on the Terrapins again. After a couple year Hiatus in the series, the Maryland Terrapins return to the schedule with a game Saturday in Morgantown. It's nice to see the turtles back on the schedule.

Pro Football? The Steelers travel to the play the Tennessee Titans on Sunday to round out the weekend of local football interest, other than Fantasy Leagues and their results.

Have a great weekend.

Starting to Get Ready

Well, Michelle and I have set a date for the wedding, our next step will be to assemble our guest list with addresses and information about everyone. So to do this I have set up am email address for us that we would like to use to use as a central e-mail address for both me and Michelle at wedding@george-hall.net. For anyone reading this, I would ask if you think In have your address or not to e-mail your contact information (address, Phone Number, e-mail) to this address so we can start to populate out guest list database.

We ask this so we can get an idea of how many people we will possibly have to entertain (this is NOT the invitation, nor confirmation that you will or will not attend, it is only to populate the database for potential invitees), this will help us start gather the information we need so we can move on.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hump Day

Well it is hump day, we are just about ready to cross over the hump and head towards another fun filled weekend.

The week at work has been going pretty smooth for me so far, I may be upgrading to ArcGIS 10 today at work. We have the licensing issues worked out and have it installed on one of the machines we don't use as a test machine and everything appears to be working fine. I'll probably be migrating from 9.31 to 10 today.

Other than that it's been a pretty uneventful week for me at work. Couple Hurricanes in the Atlantic, but nothing to get too excited about because of their locations.

I hope everyone elses week is going well for them.

* We have 102 shopping days until Christmas.

* I have been feeling a little under the weather the last couple of evenings, haven't missed work or anything like that, just not felt 100%.

* An Early Happy Birthday to Michelle's niece Amanda who will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow.

* Ang is having her Bridal Shower this Saturday at 4:00 and Pam will have a Birthday party for Calvin on Sunday even though his Birthday is actually Saturday.

Is It Monday Again?

Another fun filled weekend has come and gone. It's left the world of reality and now exists only in our memories. It's time to put the nose back on the grindstone and get back to work.

It was a good football weekend for me, the Mountaineers, Mohigans and Steelers all managed to win their games. WVU and the Steelers both won in OT and the Mohigans are returning to the Mohigans of old and just beating everyone pretty soundly.

Fantasy Football is looking good so far for me to pick up a couple of wins in the head to head leagues and I put up a couple good point totals in the other leagues. The one that matters, my money league I'm happy with the start of the season.

Sunday, September 12, 2010

Sunday Morning

It's once again a peaceful Sunday morning, one where Michelle and I will go out and grab our weekly breakfast someplace before we go and do the weeks grocery shopping.

Today however at 1:00 is the start of the Pittsburgh Steelers 2010 season with a game against the Atlanta Falcons. Dennis Dixon will make the start at QB for the Steelers today as Big Ben is serving out his four game suspension. Hopefully we can bring home the first W of the year today.

We had a great time at the Wine and Jazz Festival yesterday. I think we both have a similar favorite wine with Daniel Vinyards and their blackberry wine, but it's not available anywhere in the northern part of the state. The Wine Rack here in Morgantown is trying to get their wine to carry. Phil and Jess, a couple of friends we met there were also impressed with this winery.

Hope everyone has a great day and go Steelers.

Saturday, September 11, 2010

Wine and Jazz Festival

Today Michelle and I will be attending the West Virginia Wine and Jazz Festival at Camp Muffly. Michelle has never been to it, and I have been to a couple of them, so we decided to take our new interest in wines to the Festival for a day of tasting some of the local wines.

I think for me it all started with a trip to the Breitenbach Winery last month and actually finding a few wines that I do in fact like. It's not that often that I found something that I honestly liked, but that was the start of it for me and my wine tasting.

Hopefully it should be a much more relaxing day than I had last night watching WVU come back to beat Moo tech in overtime 24-21.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

es it is once again that time of the week that we all look foreword to, when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

Did you say Football? The West Virginia Mountaineers travel to Huntington this evening to take on Doc Holiday's Marshall Thundering Herd at 7:00. The game is on ESPN. The Blundering Turds were hammered last week in their opening game against the Ohio State Poisonous nuts, I mean Buckeye's 7-45 while the Mountaineers shut out Coastal Carolina 31-0. Hopefully we can beat the turds by 100 points tonight. =)

High School football has been moved all around since WVU and Moo Tech play on Friday night. Morgantown will host Fairmont Sr tomorrow at noon and University High played at Buchanon Upshire last night. Clay Battelle hosts Paden City this evening.

Tomorrow and Sunday at Camp Muffly, the 2010 version of the Wine and Jazz festival will be taking place. Michelle has never been to the Festival so we will probably be stopping by to taste a few of the wineries wines.

Michelle's Brother in law and Sister will have an Estate Auction tomorrow with a lot of really nice stuff up for bid.

Thursday, September 09, 2010

We Have Set a Date

Michelle and I have finally started making plans for the wedding. We spoke about a theme this past weekend and you can probably use this picture as a hint as to what it is going to look like. Not finalized on that yet, but we are leaning towards that non-traditional theme.

A Date everyone asks, well we have finalized a date. Michelle has wanted a fall wedding but Mountaineer Football was a big inhibitor in setting a date during that time. Michelle's family takes their yearly vacation during a certain week in August so that time period was eliminated which lead to our date.

August 6, 2011 will be the day Michelle and I tie the knot. Mark your calenders, set aside this Saturday and get ready to celebrate our Union.

I Guess I Have Come a Long way

On December 3rd 1989 I received a piece of news that left my life in a tailspin for a year. I was getting laid off from a job that I had worked for at that time for the past 7 1/2 years. My day of final fate would be almost seven months later, but it was a day that changed my life. My world as I had come to know it was about to change.

Span ahead another seven years and I had been working the last six years working 65-70 hours a week at another steel mill in Fairmont. I had sold my life for for employment and I was going full steam ahead planning on retiring from this company with an executive position. Once again, my life was placed into a tailspin as only a hand full of us were left to do the jobs of 70 people making the foundry go and for a lot less money. It eventually ended also once again making my head spin.

Since the days of me working in steel mills, living paycheck to paycheck and hanging on by a decision that someone else would make about my fate and future a lot has changed.

I went to college, worked for a few great companies, the one I currently work for is by far the best.

Within a few short months of me first going to the DOE, I had an animation that I played a big part on developing playing in the White House and was witnessed by two administrations. That was a big jump forward for a guy who was twice laid off from two different steel mills.

Today, I guess you can say I move a little further in that Journey. It seems like just yesterday I was in meetings with my foreman being told about a plant shut down. Today is a whole different story, today I have the honor of sitting in a meeting with the US Secretary of Energy Stephen Chu (Probably the single most visible Secretary of Obama's administration), Senator Rockefeller (who I saw once as he walked through my department at Sterling) and Governor Manchin as definite people who will be in this meeting. Possible other attendees include one other US Senator, and possibly one current member of the House of Representatives.

As I look back at yesteryear and the days of bad news, and realize just how far I have come since December 3, 1989.

Back To Work

I think the worst thing about a nice long weekend is that eventually they have to end. The weekend that unofficially marks the end of the days of summer and enter us into the days of autumn has just passed. It's officially goodbye to my favorite time of the year to enter into what is considered the most beautiful time of the year around these parts.

It's Tuesday after Labor Day. It's back to work, it's also a time to talk about the football games of the weekend and talk about what we did or did not do. It's a time when students have to get serious for the next few months and we notice a lot more Hurricanes at work.

It's unofficially fall, and it is time to get ready for full time football on the weekends.

Have a great day and hi ho hi ho

Monday, September 06, 2010

Happy Labor Day

Happy Labor Day to everyone, I hope all of you who have the opportunity to take this day off enjoy your day.

Both me and Michelle are off today, but she has been battling being ill or sore this entire weekend. Her Trapezius Muscle has been extremely sore since Saturday afternoon. It pretty much hit her all at once and she has been in very bad pain since Saturday Afternoon. Last night she actually turned the AC off (this is a girl who could freeze out a penguin) and went to the rest room. She came down with a bad case of the stomach flu on top of her neck pain. She hasn't had a very relaxing time off.

Today we have nothing planned, probably waiting to see if she can heal up before returning to the grindstone tomorrow morning.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend.

One Down

Well Bill Stewarts edition of the 2010 West Virginia Mountaineer football team started off with an opening day 31-0 win against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers yesterday at Mylan Puskar Stadium at Mountaineer Field.

It was the first shutout pitched by the defence in a number of years and only the 3rd in the past 13 seasons.

The Mountaineers will return to action this Friday evening as they travel to Huntington West Virginia to take on the Marshall Thundering Herd.

Are You Ready For Some Football

It's gameday here in Morgantown. It's the season opening day and game for the 2010 version of the West Virginia Mountaineer Football team.

Senior Noel Devine will be leading the Mountaineers on the field today against Coastal Carolina for a 3:30 kickoff at Mountaineer Field. I'm sure there will be a sea of Gold and Blue all over the place.

Game is available here locally on Comcast channel 22, WPCW.

Let's Go Mountaineers.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes it is once again that time of the week that we all look foreword to, when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday starting a THREE DAY WEEKEND!!!!!!!!

Yes, it is a holiday weekend for both me and Michelle and we are going to be celebrating a nice relaxing three day weekend. Maybe watch a little football like last night and the Steelers.

High School Football is on tap for this evening. The Mighty Morgantown Mohigans are at home and will host Elkins tonight at Pony Lewis Field this evening. University High travels to Fairmont to play East Fairmont and Clay Battelle travels to Bishop Donahue. Let's hope the Mohigans and Hawks keep their winning streaks alive in week two and the CB's can start a streak of their own.

Soccer fans, the WVU men's Soccer team plays this evening at the Soccer Stadium.

Hi ho hi ho, let's get this Holiday Weekend started.

Found a Great Deal on Jersey's

I was talking to a co worker yesterday about some athletic jersey's. He told me about this site that a friend of his bought some very nice stitched jersey's called BornTrade. Jersey's are $25-$28 for College stitched WVU or stitched NFL jersey's.

Here is the catch, shipping is $25.00. If you buy 1 or 9 Jersey's, shipping is $25.00. However if you order 10 ($250.00 in sales) shipping is then free. I'm thinking about ordering a couple, Michelle might order a couple and Scott said he wants one.

If we can get a group of 10 together we can get a really nice stitched jersey (Scott has seen them compared to an Authentic and said they are nicer than the authentic ones).

Take a good look at the site, and let me know if anyone is interested in ordering a really nicer Jersey. Steelers and WVU Fans encouraged to buy a very nice Jersey.

Hump Day

OK it's hump day, three more days to work and then three days off from work to celebrate the holiday weekend. We're getting closer and closer, but today it's a trip over that dreaded hump.

We got the cats back yesterday from the Vet, we had them spaded and I'm happy to report they are both doing fine, walking kind of sideways, but they are still doing fine and are both expected to make a full recovery and spent yesterday afternoon and evening drugged up and sleeping.

I hope everyone else's week is going smooth for them, I've been busy, challenged but definitely busy developing some presentation material for the TouchTable at work.

Speaking of work, hi ho hi ho

Tuesdays' Tidbits

* Well it's Tuesday once again, so I can't think of a better reason to do a tidbits.

* Hayley is going to be doing a play in October at the Met with the Morgantown Theater Group. She is rehearsing for the play Sweeney Todd. I'll update as I find out.

* Speaking of Hayley, she is selling Morgantown High Choir discount cards if anyone is interested. They are $10.00 each and offer a wide variety of discounts in the Morgantown area over the next 12 months. The 20% off you bill at iHop is worth the price of the card.

* Our cats are getting spayed today, no more litters and it couldn't come soon enough. They are both once again in heat (Michelle called and it is not a problem), but they will be fixed today.

* It's day 900 since mine and my sweeties first date!!!! 123 Days since the engagement too!!!

* And only 116 shopping days left until Christmas.

* Proctor and Gamble are running a special, you show $50.00 in store receipts of their products between Aug 20 and December 31, and they will send you $110.00 worth of coupons. We already have our $50.00 spent (Tide, TP< Toothpaste, Shampoo, Bounce) and are sending for our coupons.

* One more fantasy football team for me to draft and that will be tonight.

* Hi ho hi ho

Three Down, One to go

No, I'm not talking about days in the week we are working this week. I'm talking about spending yesterday afternoon and drafting not one, not two but three Fantasy Football Leagues including my long time money league that carries the trophy with it.

It started off in the afternoon with drafting two for fun leagues with Michelle's family and culminated with the guys at MiHaley's.

I still have one more to go that will take place Tuesday night with Smitty and a few of his friends. I'm happy with all three drafts.

Sunday, August 29, 2010

Fantasy Football Drafts

I have not done the first bit of research, but it is now crunch time in my world of Fantasy Football.

I draft a for fun league this afternoon with Michelle's family. We did it last year, but there is only a small handful of us participating. Michelle's Nephew won the league last year.

This evening I draft in my regular league with the guys I play softball with. We draft this league every year and we actually have a traveling trophy that the winners name is engraved on and the league winner gets to keep the piece of hardware for the year and all of the bragging rights associated with it. I've came close a couple of times, but I have failed to ever win the trophy.

Tuesday night I'm going to draft with Smitty and a few of his online buddies in my third and final league of the year.

It should be an interesting football filled day. Oh, the Steelers play this evening.

Road Trip

The entire clan will be heading north this morning to head to East Liverpool Ohio for a surprise 89th birthday party for Michelle's Grandmother GiGi. She has spent the last two weeks in Myrtle Beach visiting her brother and will return home today but there is going to be a little surprise waiting on her when she gets there.

Michelle and I are going to go up early and Chad, Laiah and Hayley will be coming up right behind us. I think they want to stop by the Hot Dog Shop before they get there.

The party kicks off at 1:00 and Michelle and I are going to try to help decorate a little bit. She has had her broccoli casserole cooking all night in the crock pot and we'll also be taking that up with us.

Should be a great day.

Are you ready for some High School Football? High school football started last night, The Morgantown High Mohigans traveledg to Wheeling to take on Wheeling Park and try to stop on four year opening game losing streak. The Mohigans rolled 41-7 and stopped the streak. The North Marion Huskies will be coming to Morgantown to take on the University High Hawks and Clay Battelle travels to AA Petersburg to start their season. I have to say good luck to all three area schools this upcoming season.

Michelle and I will be traveling once again tomorrow as we head up to Ohio to surprise her Grandmother for her 89th birthday. I'll make sure I take the camera and get as many pictures as possible.
