Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit in a quiet household, Michelle is still zonked out and Peanut is being her typical non-complient self and is sleeping rather than assisting me with this blog. Kiwi I think would be a much better co-author, but other than "I'm Kiwi" and a few choice words he doesn't have too much else to say.

Speaking of Kiwi, he spent the afternoon outside yesterday once I got back from running all my errands. He enjoyed himself, he's kind of that free independent bird that draws his inspiration by hearing the song of his people emanating from some of his other outdoor aviary friends.

Me, I'm back at it again today. I take Fridays off and only work part of a day on Saturday since I am pretty much working locally right now. I tend to take weekends off when I travel, but I'm not traveling and am in fact helping my home county and town get represented in the RTI Field Study. Michelle, she is off today and will be relaxing as I'm out working this morning and afternoon.

No other plans for us today, so hopefully it can be a relaxing one.

Have yourselves a great day.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

I am off today, Michelle is working and I'm working tomorrow so I am off on this day. Although off is not a solid word to use as I'll be doing all of our Friday running around and shopping.

I did have a phone interview yesterday morning with RES, but they are looking more for a certified drone pilot and someone with a Masters's Degree. They are more wetlands monitoring, I wish I could say I felt strongly about this one, but I have to say that I don't. The person I interviewed with had a similar background as me with AECOM, but I'm not feeling really strong about this one. It was an honor meeting with them though.

Have yourselves a great day.

Photo Flashback Thursday

Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out, time to look at some of the 30,000+ photos that I have stored on my computer. Little lost moments in time that I either captured with a lens, scanned, or just stole from someplace on the internet. I like to find just one and post it up and recall or relive the picture to the best of my ability. Sometimes this is a pretty easy task and sometimes it's not that easy, one thing it has always been a whole lot of fun.

This week's pic is from our last KDKA McDonalds Pittsburgh Steelers Trivia Show Championship run. We won the entire tournament three different seasons, we are the only team to win it twice much less three times.

This week's pic was I seem to recall before the shows taping when we were doing the sound-check. Bob Pompeani was screwing with me, they had everyone count to 5 for the soundcheck and he smiled and told me to count to five in Germanbackwards, 2 years of German in High School and four semesters in college, I think he was a little surprised to see that was something that I could do.

Have yourselves a great day.

Happy Birthday Josh Nicholson

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my great-nephew a very Happy Birthday today.

Seems like it was only yesterday that he entered into this world. If my math is right, this would make this fine young man 15 years old today.

Not sure if Val has anything planned for this fine young man today, but knowing he is hitting that age just makes me feel a little bit more 21er.

If you happen to see Josh today, take a little bit of time out to wish him a Happy Birthday.

 Happy Birthday Josh.

Tuesday's Tidbits

 * Today is my Nephew Daniel Bell's 37th Birthday, good reason to do a tidbits.

* It has been 21,060 days since I was born, that is 21 years using my new and improved 991 day Calender. I prefer my calendar as it is the best calendar and it is variable.

* It has been 6,291 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography. I also have a minor in Communications and a Minor in History. I do love my mapping and Geography.

* 4,878 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, Pizza Hut and some stupid movie that I can't remember much about. That {izza Hut is now gone.

* 4,107 days ago I proposed to Michelle, 4:00 in the morning in the back yard. It was no surprise, she knew it was coming.

* It was 3,629 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, Michelle and I became husband and wife at the Marilla Center, then we feasted like Kings and Queens. It was a memorable day.

* I have now lived 1,269 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going strong. I wish this was one bullet point that I didn't have to do.

* I have 3,851 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there.

* The next Backyard Brawl where we beat Pitt's ass in Football is only 411 days away.  EAT SHITT PITT

* There are only 236 days until the start of Spring 2022. My favorite season of the year rolls around again.

* There are 197 days until Michelle and I head to Pittsburgh to see Reba in concert. The Concert was supposed to be this August (actually it was supposed to be in March of last year) and they have moved it until the middle of February next year. So basically I bought tickets for a concert in 2022 in 2019.

* 188 more days until Phil steps to center stage again for Groundhogs Day, he has ended his winter vacation and can once again be seen in the back yard eating the Corn Michelle puts out.

* 157 more days to go until my Goodbye 2021 Blog is posted, I'm hoping for a big year this year.

* There are 150 more shopping days left until Christmas 2021. You still have plenty of time.

* The next Anniversary of my 21st Birthday will be in 127 more days.

* There are 16 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Tenth Wedding Anniversary together. =)

* I have written 6,476 blogs in the now 16 1/2+ years since I started blogging.

* Drone still needs to be sent out for repairs, not a big priority at this time.

* This is the last week of Operations for Mylan Pharmaceuticals in Morgantown. They are laying off 1,400+ employees July 31st meaning Friday is the last day.

* Rumor is Oklahoma and Texas are looking to leave the Big XII and are looking for membership in the SEC. There is a Grant of Media Rights in place until June 30, 2025, so if they try to leave early it could be very expensive for both schools.

* I'm working in Morgantown this week and probably for a few weeks. Large segment here in town that is getting addressed for RTI.

* Michelle is working a Mon-Fri schedule this week.

* Have yourselves a great day.

Monday

All good things must come to an end, and that does in fact include those fun-filled things we refer to as weekends. Now it is time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone for another week of doing what it is we do for a living. Right now for me, that is knocking on doors and trying to get people to participate in a study.

I have to say it was a nice relaxing weekend, Michelle and I both worked on Saturday but not full days, which kind of gave us extended weekends with yesterday off.

I'm hoping to hear something on the job front soon, got a couple of interviews the next couple of weeks and may have one or two more lined up and all of them could be interesting. They are all jobs working in GIS which is my skillset and they all pay pretty decent, so we'll have to wait and see what transpires out of it all.

Michelle will be working a regular week this week where I will be off on Friday and work Saturday morning again. This will probably pretty much be my schedule when I'm doing fieldwork. I think it is the one that yields the best results for the study, hence why I chose to work these hours. When  I travel it may be a little different, but I'm pretty much local here for a while. All WV field interviewers are at it rather than just a select few of us.

Have yourselves a great day.

Sunday

Ah yes, we made it to Sunday. A day where Michelle and I just have a few chores to do in the morning and the rest of the day is ours. Grass has been cut and everything else has been done to say the least. Now I'm just sitting out here with Peanut as she is trying to get back into my good graces and be the first co-author over Kiwi.

Both of us are off today as it is our weekend so to speak. We were both off Friday, worked parts of days yesterday and we are off again today to enjoy ourselves. Kiwi is itching to take his bird butt back outside, being the co-author I think he more than deserves it...weather permitting of course. They are calling for a 70% chance of rain, so he may not be as happy as I think he'll be.

Yesterday Michelle and I attended Amy and Ralph's house warming. It was a really good turnout and they got some really nice gifts. I have to say that this was the first time that I had seen the house and I was really impressed. Ralph put smart technology all through the house and everyone's closets are big enough to rent out as apartments to students. It was a great evening, nice to see Nas and John come down from Pittsburgh.

Have yourselves a great day.

Saturday Morning Rambling

Here I sit on a quiet Saturday morning, Peanut is becoming too complacent on this co-blogger thing. I may have to lay her off and look to Kiwi to be my co-author, but he's a bit of a bird brain and  Peanut does work for treats.

Speaking of working, both Michelle and I are working today. She'll be heading over to her job for the first of her alternating Saturdays. I'll be heading down to Fairmont one last time as I have that segment pretty much worked down and will be trying to finalize a few stragglers left before moving to a new segment. Next week I'll be working just outside of town, over by Lakeview and out in that area. Not sure I'll get the positive reception I got where I just worked, but I am kicking butt this quarter snd we're just a little over a week into it.

After Michelle and I get off work, it's up to Amy and Ralphies new home for a housewarming. This will be our first trip to their new home. They have all busted their butts making this happen and Ralphie is one hell of a man who was driven to do this. Much respect for both of them and the kinds.

We had a busy and productive day yesterday to say the least. All the shopping we had to get done was done, Michelle went to town on the lawn tractor and cut all the grass and tomorrow is going to be a day of relaxation.

Have yourselves a great day, hopefully, I'll see a few of you today if I'm lucky.

Both Michelle and I are off today, the majority of both of our workweeks are completed and we have today to ourselves. Me I'll be heading down south once more today to finish up the segment that I have been working on before I start a much larger one here in town.

Michelle will also be working tomorrow, she will be working every other weekend as part of her normal schedule, hence why she is taking today off as to not put her into overtime. She's still loving her job and the people she works with. She's learning a lot about procurement and purchasing, so it's a bit of a challenge and another skill set she will soon master. Unlike me, she was actually a 4.0 student in college.

We'll be doing our Sams shopping today, plus I need to get the oil changed in Ice. She is due for her 5,000-mile oil change, we always go down to the ranch in Sabraton to get it done. In and out and these guys are amazing.

Kiwi may actually get to go out and play today. He's been cooped up inside all week and I know he's itching to go outside and play with his outside aviary friends.

Have yourselves a great day.

This weeks pic comes with a bit of a heavy heart on a happy day. It was taken at the end of an evening on a day that I had proposed to Michelle. Sherri had stopped by to visit Michael and I managed to grab this lost moment in time.

Sherri is no longer with us, she is gone but she is not forgotten. I miss her the same as many others miss her, she made working at the Valley Mart years ago a real challenge to say the least.

Have yourselves a great day and never let a precious moment slip by.

Monday

All good things must come to an end, and that does include my day off yesterday. Now it's time for all of us to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone for another fun-filled week of doing what it is we do for a living.

Kiwi did enjoy a nice day playing outside yesterday, unfortunately, he won't be doing that again until probably Friday when Michelle and I are off. She'll be off as this is starting her alternating Saturday's that she will be working. So Kiwi will get some more outside time this week, he'll just have to wait until later in the week.

Speaking of Kiwi, Michelle gave his cage a real good scrubbing yesterday. We usually just change the bedding down below and put fresh in where all the bodily bird functions happen, but this week she scrubbed that cage down and Kiwi had a spotless cage to shit in now.

If you are keeping track, tomorrow will have been the 22nd anniversary of my Dad passing away, if you knew him, take a few seconds out and remember a happy memory you have of him. No bigger tribute than people remembering you in a positive manner 22 years after you have passed, it means you're being honored after you have left and that means you've touched some lives which he did.

Have yourselves a great day.

Happy Birthday Kynlea Dalton

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my Great-Niece Kylea Rae Dalton a very Happy Birthday today.

This little photogenic girl is an absolute bundle of joy to be around, I stole this picture from my niece Amy, she did a little collage and I said, hey I like that so I stole it.

Let's see, if my math is correct and she was born on this date in 2012, that would make her 2,922 days old (that is 9 to you who use that antiquated 365 day Calendar). I can remember the day this little bundle of joy was born like it was yesterday. I know Ralphie was looking forward to the steak the hospital served him that evening.

If you happen to see this little bundle of joy today, make sure that you take a little bit of time out and wish her the happiest of Birthdays today.

Happy Birthday Kynlea.

Sunday

Here I sit out here all alone, Peanut seems to have abandoned me with her co-authorship and has forced me to come up with my own brilliant ideas and content. Oh well, the TV is on for noise, don't ask me what is playing as I never pay attention anymore.

I did find a really nice free website that literally has hundreds of channels and could actually replace the cable. I ran across it this week while I was working, someone was watching the app through their Roku and told me to check it out. So I went to PlutoTV and I have to say it is worth a bookmark or a download onto your Roku or streaming device or just watch it through your computer. It has both Live TV and on-demand and once again it is all free, you don't even need an account.

Not working today, I'm taking the day off. Michelle is off and I thought it would be a great day for me to take a break and then hit it hard this coming week doing fieldwork. I have to say this quarter is starting out as my best quarter ever. Never had a start like this, and I have a feeling they will once again keep me busy this quarter. Got off to a little bit of a rocky start with my new supervisor, but I think she is being shown I'm a huge asset to the team so things have smoothed out a little.

This past week has been a busy one with head hunters and job opportunities that have been presented. They are basically all contract jobs, but they are all lengthy as in over two years in length and pay pretty decent. I've been shortlisted (when they go through the resumes and make a yes and a no pile, yes pile meaning shortlisted and the no pile being thank you but no thank you) on a couple of them and I feel pretty good about something breaking. Of course, I've felt good about a number of situations, so we'll have to wait and see. Both could be remote positions (work from home) specifically needing my skillset of editing geospatial data.

Grocery shopping today and then probably relaxing for the rest of the day, so it could be a relaxing day with a nap planned out at some time in the day.

Have yourselves a great day.

Saturday Morning Rambling

Here I sit once again in a quiet household, I had a nice long day working yesterday so it's nice for some quiet time. Peanut is running around here somewhere, she might be back in bed with Michelle as I sit out here and collect my thoughts for the day.

I'm out working again as I plan on not working tomorrow and relaxing. I'll hit it hard next week and I have a lot of other segments to address so I have to pace myself.

Michelle is going to finish up laundry and I think she is heading up north to help plan Gigi's 100th Birthday Party that they were planning on throwing. She passed this spring, but we are all still celebrating the day with a party, I think she would have loved that.

Other than that, no big plans for the weekend.

Have yourselves a great Day

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

Well are off and running with this quarter for RTI, working a little south of here and trying to get the quarter started off right with a few interviews. Of course yesterday Michelle took Ice and I took Pearl, Pearl's AC is out so I don't think I will make that mistake again today. Sweaty was an understatement when describing me yesterday as temperatures were in the upper 80°'s.

It was calling for rain all this week but Kiwi has enjoyed his share of outside time this week. He's managed to have fun with his outside friends rather than listening to his artificial friends looped by the Alexa when he is confined to the bedroom. He prefers being outside in the nice weather and who can blame him.

Have yourselves a great day and the start of a greater weekend.

This week's pic goes back to last Summer and Erica and Josh's Birthday Party. My wonderful siblings and I attempted to replicate a picture that was taken back in 1978 and was the first time all of us were together and had our picture taken.

This is also the last time that all of us were together in one place and the last time that we could pose for a picture. Jonathan, our older brother who we found a few years ago but has since passed.

Good times and family, can't beat that.

Have yourselves a great day.

Monday

All good things have to come to an end, and that does in fact include those fun-filled things called weekends. Now it is time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone for another fun-filled week of doing what it is we do for a living.

Michelle begins what we think will be a six-day workweek for her, she'll work every other Saturday and we're thinking this Saturday will be the start of her rotation. If she works Saturday, they take the following Monday off to give them a two-day weekend still.

My day will be me waiting for my segment materials to start doing my screening and interviewing on Thursday. They have been sending out lead letters the past couple of weeks for quarter three, now we head out into the field to all the residences that did not reply as of yet. Amazingly we in West Virginia are where we need to be for this time of the year, which we are usually playing catch-up, so that's encouraging. U think I will be starting this quarter off here locally, I did get a nice thank you letter from our national director in the mail this weekend for the work I did last quarter.

Have yourselves a great day and the start of a great week.

Sunday

Here I sit on a quiet Sunday Morning, I'm out here with Peanut discussing Cat Physics and how high she can jump while texting on her Cat Phone. She insists it does not inhibit her ability for maximum height. I've got the TV playing in the background, I think I do that to cover up my own snoring.

We had a pretty busy day yesterday. It started off with Michelle picking up Hayley's wedding ring after they had it resized. She has such tiny fingers that it fits on Michelle's pinky finger.

From there it was off to Mom and Geralds to hook her glucose monitor up to her iPhone via bluetooth so her logs will go to her phone. Michelle went through some old diabetic supplies she had and found 400 test strips that are associated with her brand of meter. Gerald was looking good, he was sorting through a tub of pictures of things through the years. He looks good and appears to be getting around much better now.

From there it was a trip to the Mall for Michelle to go to JC Penny's to look for a couple of things that she needs. We both love Penney's and it's the store we buy the majority of our clothes from.

Then it was off to the University Towne Center and a quick visit to first WalMart and then to Sam's Club. I usually do that part of the shopping later in the week, but since I was out listing last week I wasn't able to get around to it.

Our Sunday plans, our normal grocery shopping and household chores.

Have youselves a great day.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit yet once again on a quiet Saturday morning, I'm out here watching who knows what and having a man-to-cat conversation with Peanut and contemplating what I am going to do with my day.

Well I'm off from RTI until Thursday when the new quarter starts, I'm not going to do anymore listing for them as I am done as a lister. I'm just working on the screening and interview portion of the job and the new quarter starts Thursday.

So what is on today's agenda? Laundry and Sam's club for starters. I didn't get a chance to do my normal Friday stuff so I'm heading out today to get that done. Michelle is off today as well, so it's hard to say what we may or may not get involved with.

Hopefully, the weather will the cooperative Kiwi doesn't seem to care for this staying inside all day while Mom and Dad are out galavanting around. He told me his beak needs to be outside.

Well spent the day yesterday working down south of here, the city where they have the Italian Heritage Festival was where I spent my day doing some listing. We're done with interviews until Thursday when they turn us loose again to head out in the field to do fieldwork, so in the meantime, I have been doing some listing. I may list today as well, but only half as far as I traveled yesterday. Could be a good day for a Yann's Hot Dog or two.

No big plans for the weekend so far, but as anyone knows that scenario can always change at the drop of a hat. Maybe doing the things I didn't get done today. It's going to be a busy week coming up so I'll have to budget my time accordingly. Michelle is going to start working every other Saturday, not sure if she starts with this one or the next.

This week's pic goes back to a time when Michelle and had just started dating pretty much. We had been out a few times, but this time we decided to head north to Ohiopyle and do a little bit of Geocaching.

It was a rainy day and Hayley came with us, we tracked way down deep into the woods to look for the Cache that someone had hidden. I think this pic was taken before we hiked a couple of miles down into the woods to seek our cache. Hayley was the one who found it, but I didn't care. It was a special day with a couple special ladies.

Have yourselves a great day

Tuesday's Tidbits

* Monday completed for those of you who went back to work, for those who didn't today is your day and that's a great reason for a tidbits.

* It has been 21,039 days since I was born, that is 21 years using my new and improved 991 day Calender. I prefer my calendar as it is the best calendar and it is variable.

* It has been 6,270 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography. I also have a minor in Communications and a Minor in History.

* 4,857 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, Pizza Hut and 10,000 BC movie that was horrible.

* 4,086 days ago I proposed to Michelle, 4:00 in the morning in the back yard. It was no surprise, she knew it was coming.

* It was 3,608 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, Michelle and I became husband and wife at the Marilla Center, then we feasted like Kings and Queens.

* I have now lived 1,248 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going strong.

* I have 3,872 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there.

* The next Backyard Brawl where we beat Pitt's ass in Football is only 432 days away.

* There are only 257 days until the start of Spring 2022. My favorite season of the year rolls around again.

* There are 218 days until Michelle and I head to Pittsburgh to see Reba in concert. The Concert was supposed to be this August (actually it was supposed to be in March of last year) and they have moved it until the middle of February next year. So basically I bought tickets for a concert in 2022 in 2019.

* 209 more days until Phil steps to center stage again for Groundhogs Day, he has ended his winter vacation and can once again be seen in the back yard eating the Corn Michelle puts out. He and his wife live under the old bridge in the backyard.

* 178 more days to go until my Goodbye 2021 Blog is posted, I'm hoping for a big year this year.

* There are 171 more shopping days left until Christmas 2021. You still have plenty of time.

* The next Anniversary of my 21st Birthday will be in 148 more days.

* There are 30 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Tenth Wedding Anniversary together. =)

* I have written 6,454 blogs in the now 16 1/2+ years since I started blogging.

* Drone still needs to be sent out for repairs, not a big priority at this time.

* How was everyone's 4th of July Weekend. Ours was memorable.

* Michelle's office should be back in full force today.

* I have my first group meeting with my new team from RTI. New supervisor and new subteams, looking forward to meeting everyone.

* Is it football season yet? I'm ready to start watching football. I've been paying real close attention to Neal Brown and the WVU team the past couple of weeks and recruiting. I think we have had some really solid recruits so far in this class. I like the way this year's class is shaping u.

* Have yourselves a great day.

Monday

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July, I know many of you get to extend your Holiday weekend one more day dues to the 4th being on Sunday. Federal offices and facilities will be closed today to take note.

Michelle will head back into the office today, she had a choice of choosing Friday or today off and she chose to take Friday, meaning she'll be heading into the office this morning.

Me I never got my stuff to list for RTI yet, so I'll be down a day or so until we can ship my materials and supplies to do some listing later this week. Looks like I have four segments to list, one here in Morgantown, a couple in Fairmont and one in Clarksburg over the next couple of weeks.

Since I won't be working today, it could very well be another outside kind of day for Kiwi. Temps are supposed to reach the 90°'s the next couple of days, so his happy bird feathered rear and can go outside and spend some time with his outside friends rather than my looping bird sounds on the Alexa in the bedroom.

Have yourselves a great day, if your weekend is extended a day make the most of it. The weather looks to be phenomenal.

Happy 4th of July

Let the Fireworks and the cookouts commence, it is the 245th Birthday of our great Nation. It was on this day in 1776 that we said screw you to the British and said we can do it better ourselves, and we did.

I kind of fibbed in yesterday's blog, I said we were going to cut the grass yesterday, but we managed to get it done on Friday afternoon, pretty much freeing our day up. So what did we do yesterday?

Started off with a trip to Duda's Vegetable Stand to get some things for this afternoon's cookout. When we get back from the store this morning I'll start soaking the corn for later.

Yesterday afternoon we gave Michelle her Giraffe fix with a trip to Hovatters Zoo. They have made a number of changes since we last visited, including a nice Observation Deck to see the Elk. It's amazing how much this small family-owned zoo has grown through the years. I put up a Facebook Album of all my pics so that everyone can enjoy.

Plans for the day, we will be grilling some steaks. They have been marinating since yesterday and ready to go this afternoon. It's going to be a relaxing day at home.

Have yourselves a great day.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit on a quiet Saturday Morning, Peanut is still sleeping and I'm out here watching whatever is on the TV and collecting my thoughts for the day. So much for the co-author status.

I made a trip to Harry's yesterday, picked up a couple of steaks to throw on the grill tomorrow. We'll start marinating them today, and they should be ready for the grill tomorrow weather permitting of course. I picked up some real hot dogs from a butcher, I might throw one or two of them on the grill today to see how they turn out. He did say not to boil them as they lose their flavor that way.

Hayley and Tyler stopped over for a visit yesterday, they came down to visit Bethany and see her new Baby Audrie for the first time. Michelle and I have not had a chance to see her yet, I guess Aunt Hayley takes priority over us.

I will be working next week for RTI, I'll be doing some listing here in Morgantown and in Fairmont. We switched teams and supervisors so there is getting all the back-end permissions changed in the database so she can assign to me what she needs to assign. That however is next week's problem, I'm enjoying a weekend today.

Have yourselves a great day.

Big Ole Hairy 4th of July Weekend Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

Michelle is off today, her boss gave her the opportunity to either take today or Monday off with pay, so she decided on today. Good thing is I might go out and start listing for RTI as early as Monday. so we can both enjoy our weekend.

What are our plans for the weekend, I think we're going to make a trip to Harry's today and maybe get some steaks for the 4th. Something to throw on the grill and Harry has great steaks, so fresh they are still mooing. Other than that, we'll just wait for a dry spell so we can cut the grass. It's starting to get a little bit high and it's needing cut soon.

I hope everyone has a great day, enjoy your 4th of July Weekend.

Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out, time to look at some of the 30,000+ photos that I have stored on my computer. I like to find just one and post it up and recall or relive the picture to the best of my ability. Sometimes this is a pretty easy task and sometimes it's not that easy, one thing it has always been a whole lot of fun.

This weeks pic goes all the way back to the fall of 1981, I was a Senior in High School and we had our Senior Pictures taken. I graduated in 1982, but the pictures were taken at the start of the school year. All I really remember is that that brown corduroy suite was rather hot. The picture was taken wither during football or wrestling season so it would have been a day where I would have had practice and showered at the school after practice.

Time flies by to say the least, that picture was taken 40 years ago this fall even though it only seems like yesterday.

Have yourselves a great day.
