Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

No idea what my plans are for the weekend, I know that Tuesday is the 4th, so I might work some this weekend to make up for any of those hours that I may miss due to it being a Holiday, but we'll have to see on that one. Might depend on what the weather is like.

I really have no big plans for the weekend other than getting on the other side of the Holiday. I know my life has really started to become boring and I sometimes struggle for content when life is so repetitive, you should have picked up on that when I was discussing my aviary friend's diet earlier this week to put words on the blog so to speak.

Have yourselves a great day and a great weekend.

Photo Flashback Thursday

Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out, time to look at some of the 30,000+ photos that I have stored on my computer. Little lost moments in time that I either captured with a lens, scanned or just stole from someplace on the internet. I like to find just one and post it up and recall or relive the picture to the best of my ability. Sometimes this is a pretty easy task and sometimes it's not that easy, one thing it has always been a whole lot of fun.

This weeks pic goes back a number of summers, to when Sabrina had graduated High School and the Graduation Party was at the Pittsburgh Zoo.

There were a couple of oversized chairs that we took full advantage of to grab a few special pictures. This one of Ralph, Amy, Kaiden and Kylea on one of those oversized chairs at the zoo. Both kids have grown so much in such a short period that it brings into perspective haw quickly time flies by.

Have yourselves a great day.

Tuesday's Tidbits

* Monday completed, time to focus on the rest of the week starting with today. Can't think of a better reason other than if Kiwi wanted to start a Psychic Services Website to do a tidbits.

* It has been 21,726 days since I was born, that is 21 years using my new,  new, and improved 1,000-day Calender. I do have to say I start to feel my age or older than 21.

* It has been 6,986 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography.

* 5,574 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, the pizza hut is gone, the movie was 10,000 BC and it sucked to high heaven.

* 4,777 days ago I proposed to Michelle in the backyard at 4:00 in the morning. Second best decision I ever made.

* It was 4,322 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, for the most part, Michelle and I became husband and wife at the Marilla Center, we poured sand into a vase and said our I do's and we were hitched. Best Decision I ever made.

* I have now lived 1,958 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going strong. It's almost two years according to my birthday age calendar.

* Michelle has been living a clean and productive life and beat that alcohol demon 616 days ago today. I am very proud of her, despite everything she has gone through she has come through this like the Champion that she is. One foot in front of the other.

* My older Brother Jonathan lived 21,266 days, I've now outlived him by 482 days making me Senior Supreme Sibling once again! To my younger siblings, bow down to my age seniority. =)

* I have 3,114 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there, but I love doing what I do. Who knows though, doing what I do I may never retire.

* There are only 267 days to go until the next start of my favorite Season. Spring 2024.

* 221 more days until Phil steps to center stage again for Groundhogs Day, I saw him this past weekend as he is back here for his Summer home and eating the corn Michelle puts out.

* 194 more days to go until my Goodbye 2023 Blog is posted, I'm just now getting started on content for that one.

* There are 180 more shopping days left until Christmas 2023. You still have plenty of time to prepare and get ready. Walmart hasn't put their Christmas stuff out....yet but we are at about the halfway point to Christmas.

* There are 157 days until I hit the age of 60. Yeah I know, I'm really older than 21.

* There are 80 more days until the Pitt Panthers bring their butts to Morgantown so we can get some revenge on our game this year.

* There are 73 more days to go until the Mountaineers travel to Happy Valley and get another shot at an old-time Rival, Penn State.

* It has been ∞ (infinity symbol) a number of days that I have hated both of those two schools.

* There are 41 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Twelfth Wedding Anniversary together.

* I have written 7,222 blogs in the now 18 1/2 years plus a couple of days of being a blogger.

* Older Drone still needs to be sent out for repairs, not a big priority at this time. My little drone is awesome and I really like it....when I take time out to fly it.

* I have a Doctors appointment this coming Monday, I had one scheduled last month but it was the day I started my job so I just rescheduled it to a better time.

* I don't know why, but Kiwi is a picky eater. Won't eat any dried fruit, won't even eat the bird popcorn on a cob that we put in there for him, but he loves Millet and all kinds of seeds.

* I think I know where I want to do my next drone flight, out by the old county graveyard whenever I get to it.

* How about I start doing my favorite Tic Tok of the week? This is this weeks Tic Tok, I have been following this couple for a couple of months and you can see them later in the video in Morgantown Honda.

Monday

All Good things must come to an end, and yes that does include those fun fill things we refer to as weekends. Now it is time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone of life and get back to doing what it is that we do for a living.

As I was writing Sunday Mornings Blog on Saturday, I was seriously joking about Kiwi naming Josh Eilert as the next WVU Men's Basketball Coach, maybe Kiwi does have some supernatural powers. Funny story though, Saturday evening he was chirping his little head off for some reason. Out of the ordinary as if something was wrong and it woke me up from my nap. As I get up and talk to him, I see that I missed a call from Michelle. Jim's trailer blew a tire on the interstate and she was going to be a little bit later than anticipated. Maybe he does have Bird ESP.

Looking at my week ahead not too much on my schedule. Still working longer days this week as we are trying to get this project delivered to their end client. I'm doing what I love to do, so it's enjoyable. I am excited to try my new headphones out this week in some meetings to see how they work. I think the audio quality should be good, not sure of the comfort level though, but meetings aren't that long.

Have yourselves a great day as we ready ourselves to make this a better rock to live on.

Sunday

Here I sit once again in a quiet household, Kiwi is being his normal talkative self and giving my his opinion on who the next basketball coach for WVU will be. He insists it is going to be an internal promotion of someone named Josh Eilert, but I guess we'll have to wait and see what transpires with that search.

Michelle and her sisters did run up to their Mom's place yesterday to start cleaning the place out. They are trying to raise money for Tom's tombstone and will be auctioning a number of things from within her home. The trailer has been sitting for a year and a half, so it is hard to say if there is any value to any of the items beyond sentimental value to the sisters.

Myself, I did manage to get the grass cut yesterday morning. I was up early (thanks Kiwi) and wanted to get it cut before it started to rain. It's supposed to rain all week and I wanted to get ahead of it. Grass really wasn't that high despite it being two weeks since we mowed it.

I had a $20 cash back from Best buy that was getting ready to expire, so I went and purchased a better set of headphones for my workstation. My older ones had all the styrofoam come off the ear pieces and it was just time to replace them so I did. They just plug into the back of my docking station, so all I have to to is plug laptops into a USB-C or a regular USB Port and it becomes a dual screen work station. That's all mine, so when I get another contract job it's just plug and play for me to be set up.

Have yourselves a great day.

Saturday Morning Rambling

Here I sit in a quiet household, Kiwi and I are up and talking about the day and what I need to do today. He wants me to sit by him all day and talk about a number of topics that he has on his list, me I want to dry laundry and weather permitting attempt to cut grass.

Michelle and her Sisters have been planning on going back to their Mom's place and trying to clean up and see if anything can be salvaged to sell. The purpose is to get a headstone for her step-dad Tom who was buried as opposed to her biological Dad Dave who was cremated. They have been planning this for a while, not sure if they are going to go up today.

My day is going to be me mowing grass weather permitting. It appears we are going to be in for a wet spell the next week or so so I want to get the grass mowed sometime between now and next weekend. With no rain, it hadn't really grown but now it's time to address it in my short window if at all possible.

Have a great day today, make it memorable with the people you are with and the things you do.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

It's going to be a busy weekend, Michelle is going up to her Moms trailer and clean it out over the weekend as if there is anything left in there that doesn't just need to be trashed. They'll be going up tomorrow and coming back on Sunday. What does this mean? I'll be here holding down the fort. Doing the shopping, laundry, and mowing this coming weekend as they are trying to finalize some things in Suzanne's old home.

Looking for something to do tonight, 80's teen icon Debbie Gibson will be in town giving a free concert at the Hazel Ruby McQuain Amphitheater on Mon tonight. In my opinion she is the biggest star in this years lineup and one that I would most liked to have seen. Take you a chair and some snacks and enjoy a great concert this evening.

Have yourselves a great day

This week's pic goes back to one of the Steelers games Michelle and I went to as winners of the McDonald's KDKA Pittsburgh Steelers Trivia Show winners. Not sure which one this year is, as we won the entire tournament in three different seasons. It was the game against Tampa Bay, I can tell by the sideline passes that we were wearing. It was a great day, after the game we went to the top of Mount Washington and took pictures with at the time both of our Season Trophies.

Have yourselves a great day.

Monday

All good things must, unfortunately, come to an end, and that includes those fun-filled things we call weekends. Now it is time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone of that thing called life and get back to doing what it is that we do for a living.

It was a bit of a sad weekend, Saturday Morning I learned that WVU Basketball Coach had an incident in Pittsburgh that eventually forced him to resign his position as the Basketball Coach at West Virginia University. It's a very sad day and a very sad end to a legendary Hall of Fame Coaches career here in Morgantown. I never saw it ending, mainly because of the amount of revenue that Huggs generates for this University, but those days are now behind us.

So what else is happening? I'm still working 10's for LanceSoft/Parsons/BAE this week again. It's a big project that we need to get completed so these opportunities have opened up to us and I'm taking full advantage of it while I can.

Have yourself a great day.

Happy Birthday Erica Jean Nicholson

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my great niece Erica a very Happy Birthday today. If my math serves me correctly, she should be turning 19 years old today.

Seems like it was just yesterday when we were all at the Hospital awaiting her arrival and here we are 19 years later with her already graduating from Morgantown High and planning on continuing her education at Pierpont. Both Michelle and I are very proud of her.

Not sure what if any plans there are for her today, and I don't even know what she has planned, but if you happen to see this young lady, wish her the Happiest of Birthdays.

Happy Birthday, Erica.

Happy Fathers Day

Here Kiwi and I sit in the early morning, he's up bragging that he has convinced Chic-Fil-A in honor of Father's Day that all Fathers eat free at any participating Chic-Fil-A Restaurant. He's bragging that he made this corporation bow down to his aviary demands.

Anyways I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the fathers in the world a very Happy Father's Day today. Father's Day much like Mother's Day, has it's origins right here in North Central West Virginia. It's first celebration was in Fairmont and this is where it really started. Now despite what Kiwi thinks he did, Chic-Fil-A is in fact closed today and all Sunday's, but don't let Kiwi know he thinks he did something.

There was no grass cut yesterday, it really is not that high from us cutting it last week, so Michelle decided that I can cut it next week while she is back at her Mom's place cleaning it out. She did weed whack yesterday and we ran out of string, I have a  set of cartridges coming in from Amazon today where I can just pop them in and be done with them. I did go out Friday and buy a couple more batteries, that little 2.0 amp battery that came with the weed eater only lasts about 10 minutes or so and that's it. I bought another 2.0 and a 4.0 amp as part of a package.

I had to go and buy a new glucometer yesterday, mine after about 20 years has had it, so I went to Sams Club and bought their brand for like less than $20 and each vial of 50 test strips (I bought 2) were like $9.00 each. I looked at the brand I had and they would have been $195.00 for 100 test strips. The choice was an easy one.

Have yourselves a great day, make it memorable.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here Kiwi and I sit in the early morning hours discussing the world's great mysteries, sliced or stick pepperoni in homemade pepperoni rolls. I'm one of those types that like sliced pepperoni and Kiwi is a pepperoni stick kind of a bird.

So what is on my agenda for the day? I will be heading to Millers Laundromat this morning to dry clothes, I said I was going to do it last week but Michelle took care of all of the chores that I do on Friday and Saturday Morning, including drying laundry. This week I'm not so lucky as I'll be the one heading out and doing it this morning.

There are a couple of things that we need to get done this weekend. Weather permitting I'm going to either mow grass or weed eat. Michelle could be the one riding around and that would leave me to do the weed eating or vice versa. We'll also most likely make a run to Rural King to pick up some Deer Corn and Bird Seed for her outside zoo that visits the backyard daily. We have one turkey and one deer that are braver than all the others, I told Michelle I think the turkey is going to eventually walk inside. That one deer gets closer and closer as well. All the other animals keep their distance, but one turkey and one deer keep getting braver by the day.

Have a great day today, make it a special one.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

Not too much planned this weekend for Michelle and I, next weekend she is going back home for the weekend to clean out her Mom's trailer, but this weekend should be a nice and relaxing one with no particular place to go or do.

Sometimes having no plans are the best weekends, you actually get to relax a little bit after a long week at work and rejuvenate the body before it all starts all over again. Of course I am writing this on Sunday because of a busy work schedule this week, so things could change.

Have yourselves a great day.

This week's Photo Flashback goes back to Michelle and my's honeymoon at Ocean City, Maryland. Since I have so many family members who will be in Ocean City in the near future I wanted to give a little bit of advice for those who have never been there.

There are a million and one things to do in Ocean City, but one thing that you must do and I'm sure anyone who has been there will tell you, there is a must-try place that you have to go to. Thrasher French Fries on the Boardwalk. Best French Fries anywhere and this is where I got into putting malt vinegar on french fries It is the one thing that you must do in Ocean City.

Have yourselves a great day.

Monday again? Let's do this

It is once again that time when we take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone to continue doing what it is that we do for a living to make this a better rock to live on. New challenges and new goals, let's do this.

I changed my schedule last week after a request was made that the company I was contracting for did not submit enough billable hours on the project the previous week. Mind you I am one of many, but he asked for people to step up and I quickly did, so I'll be working 10-hour days for the time being as I did last week. I'm am an early riser and I'm working at home with the right set up, so we'll do what we can to get this project completed. I figure I'll make the money while the opportunity is there.

Michelle is back to work today after that nasty flu bug last week that had her down for three days. It took a toll on her but by Friday afternoon she was starting to feel better, so she should be good to go heading back into her office for the week.

Not much on my personal calendar for the upcoming week, it should hopefully just be a routine week for both of us.

Have yourselves a great day and the start of a great week.

Sunday

Here I sit on a quiet Sunday Morning, Kiwi and I are up discussing how the Mountaineers are going to do this fall in Football. He thinks we are going to win them all if they let him coach, and not so much if they don't offer him the coaching job.

Well, I spoke too early in yesterday's blog where I said I was going to do battle with the grass, Michelle was home again on Friday and was starting to feel a little better so she took on the house chores by herself Friday. This included her jumping on the lawn tractor and throwing the pollen around and cutting some of the grass that had sporadically shot up a little bit. It's been dry so the grass really hasn't grown. I have a weedeater and a leaf blower, but those of them run on 2-cycle oil and the weed wacker has a broken switch which makes it hard to keep running. So I went to Lowes yesterday and found a battery-powered combo pack that fits all of our needs. I may need a bigger battery as it only runs for about 10 or 15 minutes before needing to be recharged, however, it only takes about an hour for a full charge so this will probably meet our needs. I still need to fire the gas-powered one up to catch up.

On today's agenda, we'll be heading over for our third and final graduation this year. Paige Paugh graduated from University High and Jim and Chris are going to host her Graduation Paty for her. Very proud of Paige as well, not sure of her plans I think she will be going to WVU but don't quote me on that it's more of a guess. Her Mom has her Master's Degree so I can almost bet there will be some kind of continuing education for her.

I dog-sat Lucy yesterday, Mom and Gerald stopped over at Gerald's brother Richard's house as he and his wife were celebrating their 50th Wedding anniversary. Lucy and I spent a few hours talking and watching TV. Kiwi was trying to teach her how to play pinochle. He kept asking me for advice but I had to tell him I've never played.

Have yourselves a great and memorable day.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here Kiwi and I sit in a quiet household, Michelle has been sick for the latter part of the week with this flu bug that has gone around and Kiwi says he has taken really good care of Mommy and should be rewarded with more seeds and millet. I think he is trying to become a Milletonaire.

Michelle and her sisters will return to East Liverpool Ohio today to celebrate Meghan's graduation party. She recently graduated and this is the day that they are having the celebration for her.  They are also taking their Mom up with them so she can visit with her sister and family from the area. All of us Husbands are staying home and doing our thing.

What will I be doing today, I will be breaking out the lawn tractor and do battle with that thing known as the lawn. I can't really complain as it is really not much if any higher than it was last weekend, but I'm still going to mow it and just to say that I did.

We have another Graduation Party to attend tomorrow at Chris and Jim's. Paige will be having her Graduation party Sunday as she finished up her High School career at University High and we'll be celebrating her accomplishments as well.

Have yourselves a great day, make it memorable and hope I defeat the enemy known as grass growing in the yard.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

It's going to be a WalMart/Sams kind of evening before Michelle and I go out to dinner. Our typical Friday, nothing too special planned for the day.

Michelle and her sisters will be traveling back home to Ohio tomorrow for Meghan's graduation party. It is her cousin/sister Julie's youngest daughter and she just graduated with honors from I think East Liverpool High School.

I'll be here holding down the fort and taking care of two cats, and a bird and probably cutting the grass which we didn't get to last weekend, mainly because the grass just wasn't high enough.

Have yourselves a great day and the start of a very special weekend.

Since this is a Hayley and Tyler kind of week (Anniversary and two birthdays) I figured I would go one more for them since today is Tyler's Birthday.

This is a picture we took I believe after the wedding as we were all getting ready to eat at the beach house we had rented. The box in front of the table are very significant as they are the remains of Rich, Hayley's biological Dad and Michelle's first husband.

It was a great evening and we did feast.

Happy Birthday Tyler and Hayley Ash

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my favorite daughter and favorite son-in-law a very Happy Birthday. Hayley's is today and I think Tyler's is actually tomorrow. Some hospital and the same time period and now they are married.

I am very proud of Hayley who has decided to go back to school this fall and is driving for Door Dash now making more money than she was on her previous job. She is a very goal-oriented young lady and gets accomplished what she wants to accomplish.

Tyler is the perfect son-in-law and a perfect match for Hayley.

Not sure what they have planned for their birthday days, they came down and visited Michelle last week when they had a vet appointment so not sure if we will see them today.

Make sure that you take a little bit of time out and wish these two a very Happy Birthday today (Hayley) and tomorrow (Tyler).

Tuesday's Tidbits

* It is Hatley and Tyler's Second Wedding Anniversary, can't think of a better reason to do a tidbits.

* It has been 21,705 days since I was born, that is 21 years using my new,  new, and improved 1,000-day Calender. I do have to say I start to feel my age or older than 21.

* It has been 6,965 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography.

* 5,553 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, the pizza hut is gone, the movie was 10,000 BC and it sucked to high heaven.

* 4,756 days ago I proposed to Michelle in the backyard at 4:00 in the morning. Second best decision I ever made.

* It was 4,301 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, for the most part, Michelle and I became husband and wife at the Marilla Center, we poured sand into a vase and said our I do's and we were hitched. Best Decision I ever made.

* I have now lived 1,937 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going strong. It's almost two years according to my birthday age calendar.

* My older Brother Jonathan lived 21,266 days, I've now outlived him by 461 days making me Senior Supreme Sibling once again! To my younger siblings, bow down to my age seniority. =)

* I have 3,135 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there, but I love doing what I do. Who knows though, doing what I do I may never retire as I am getting ready to embark on my next project today.

* 242 more days until Phil steps to center stage again for Groundhogs Day, I saw him this past weekend as he is back here for his Summer home and eating the corn Michelle puts out.

* 208 more days to go until my Goodbye 2023 Blog is posted, I'm just now getting started on content for that one.

* There are 202 more shopping days left until Christmas 2023. You still have plenty of time to prepare and get ready. Walmart hasn't put their Christmas stuff out....yet.

* There are 178 days until I hit the age of 60. Yeah I know, I'm really older than 21.

* There are 101 more days until the Pitt Panthers bring their butts to Morgantown so we can get some revenge on our game this year.

* There are 94 more days to go until the Mountaineers travel to Happy Valley and get another shot at an old-time Rival, Penn State. It's a game that will be at nighttime on NBC so it's going to have a big audience.

* There are 62 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Twelfth Wedding Anniversary together.

* There are 29 days until my second favorite season, the Summer of 2023.

* I have written 7,199 blogs in the now 18 1/2 years plus a couple of days of being a blogger.

* Older Drone still needs to be sent out for repairs, not a big priority at this time. My little drone is awesome and I really like it....when I take time out to fly it.

* I think I know where I want to do my next drone flight, out by the old county graveyard.  .

* How about I start doing my favorite Tic Tok of the week? This is this weeks Tic Tok, got to love me some Mark Roper.

Monday

Well, all good things must end, including those fun-filled things that we refer to as weekends. Now it is time again to take our collective noses and stick them back onto that grindstone and get back to doing what we do to make this a better rock to live on.

I want to start this blog by taking a little bit of time out and wishing my brother Gary a very Happy Birthday today. I believe it is trip 52 around the sun for him and starting a new trip today. I haven't spoken to him in a while, so I really don't have any idea what he is or has been up to.

Welcome back Brittany and Matt who just got back from their first cruise together, Matt was an experienced cruiser so Brittany had an experienced cruiser to rely on for any questions. Now is the worst part following a cruise, knowing you now have to buy or prepare your own food. They went out of the same port Michelle and I go out of and visited two sites that I was familiar with and one I have never been to. If we were planning another cruise, this was the itinerary I was looking at.

Looking at my week ahead, I'm just glad to be back to working and doing GIS again, new challenges await me.

Have yourselves a great day.

Sunday

Here I sit in a quiet household, Kiwi is still complaining about going outside for a little while and then it started to Hail. He heard the thunder boomers and said to get his little butt inside because he didn't care to get wet. This Dude Abides while we were making lawn popcorn.

Today's agenda includes Michelle and I going grocery shopping and maybe cutting the grass which we did not do yesterday. It hadn't rained all week and the grass had not really grown so we decided to hold off on the mowing for the day. Low and behold a quick thunderstorm came through and watered everything or us, so we might be mowing grass today if it grew a little overnight.

Jim and Chris had Mechelle and me, as well as Dani and Rpy over for Sunday Dimmer last week. We have an invitation to do it once again this weekend to have an encore performance. It was a really nice time and we're going to do it again, but come to think of it the dinner was Monday and not Sunday last week.

Some family news this week, my niece Brittany and her at-the-time boyfriend Matt upgraded from boyfriend/girlfriend to engaged couple. Michelle and I are so very happy for her and Matt is a really great guy so we are ready to officially welcome him into the family. They really do make a great couple and we're ready to celebrate with them when they decide to have their wedding. It's a perfect match.

Have yourselves a great day, make it memorable.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit once again on a quiet Saturday Morning, Kiwi and I are up discussing how much fun that he has had outside the last couple of days. There are a couple Facebook Videos on my profile of him trying to renegotiate his contract. Right now we are up discussing his favorite treats.

It's life kind of back to normal for the time being, which means I'll be heading to the laundromat this morning to dry clothes. The day's agenda isn't too busy, but I am planning on riding the mower around the yard and cutting the grass. It's going to be either me or Michelle driving and one of us moving lawn furniture around and maybe weed eat while the other rides around listening to music. I'll let you guess which one Michelle will be.

Other than that we have no plans for this weekend, Hayley and Tyler already came down this week and we gave them their birthday money, so there may be a nap or two later today if we don't manage to run around and do anything. You never know with us, something could always come up.

Have yourselves a great day, make it special and make it memorable.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

Been a while since I have really been looking forward to the weekend, been off work for a while and weekends just were another day except Michelle was home. I'm excited to say that this is a weekend after a workweek and it feels great. It's a feeling of accomplishment knowing you did something to make this a better world to live in so take a couple of days to yourself.

Looks like I will be going back to my old schedule of going to Sams and Walmart on Friday evenings and drying laundry first thing Saturday morning. Of course, as of press time my start time is 9:00 AM, but that could very likely and will change after the first day so I won't be trying to work 12-hour days. 8-Hour days like the rest of the world.

No plans on our agenda this weekend, of course, the grass always grows, and depending on whether I had a chance to mow it this past week we shall see if it needs to be done tomorrow.

This week's pic goes back two years now, back to when COVID was still a thing and Hayley and Tyler were getting married. I'm pretty sure that this was taken once they were already married and back at the beach house that we were all staying at. Tyler had left earlier that morning to help set up the venue on the beach and Hayley stayed back with us and got dressed.

It really was a magical day, no one could have planned it any better, especially with all the ponies on Assateague Island standing just beyond the wedding and then once the wedding was completed, making themselves at home and joining the wedding party.

I had an app on my phone called new profile pic and uploaded it to the ap and this was the result after it applied all of its filters. I really liked how it turned out, so it is this weeks Photo Flashback.

Hi ho hi ho ( I love saying that).
