Tuesday's Tidbits

* Monday is now behind us and sloth and turtle have their 100 yard sprint to see who is quicker, I think they are about 48 yards into it, good reason to do tidbits.

* It has been 21,186 days since I was born, that is 21 years using my new and improved 991 day Calender. I prefer my calendar as it is the best calendar and it is variable.

* It has been 6,420 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography. I really enjoy my chosen profession.

* 5,004 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, Pizza Hut and 10,000 BC, would you believe Michelle still talked to me after that movie choice.

* 4,226 days ago I proposed to Michelle, she was expecting it as we had already bought the engagement ring and it was sitting in the safe.

* It was 3,769 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, Michelle and I became husband and wife at the Marilla Center, seems like it was just yesterday.

* I have now lived 1,391 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going strong. It just goes to show you how short the time we are on this rock is.

* I have 3,739 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there, but I love doing what I do.

* The next Anniversary of my 21st Birthday will be in 366 more days. Yes, I can count.

* The next Backyard Brawl where we beat Pitt's ass in Football is only 285 days away. I'm really looking forward to this game.

* There are 249 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Eleventh Wedding Anniversary together. =)

* There are only 111 days until the start of Spring 2022. My favorite season of the year rolls around again.

* There are 71 days until Michelle and I head to Pittsburgh to see Reba in concert. The Concert was supposed to be this August (actually it was supposed to be in March of last year) and they have moved it until the middle of February next year. So basically I bought tickets for a concert in 2022 in 2019.

* 62 more days until Phil steps to center stage again for Groundhogs Day, he has ended his winter vacation and can once again be seen in the back yard eating the Corn Michelle puts out.

*32 more days to go until my Goodbye 2021 Blog is posted, it's been eventful.  I guess I should start my formatting and writing of it.

* There are 23 more shopping days left until Christmas 2021.

* I have written 6,611 blogs in the now 17 1/4 years since I started blogging. Seems like it was just yesterday that I started all of this.

* Drone still needs to be sent out for repairs, not a big priority at this time.

* Working both jobs again today as I did yesterday. Might replicate it again today or wait until tomorrow.

* WVU football is Bowl Eligible. We should know who and when early next week if not Sunday.

* I'm Not sure if I have ever mentioned to anyone ever before, or if I have even said anything on this blog about it, but I Hate Snow.

* Had my first Doctor's appointment in over a year yesterday.

* If you have to get blood work and you're paying for it out of pocket. Go HERE. Thanks to Michelle for pointing this site out to me.

* Have yourselves a great day.

Monday

Here we go yet once again, it's time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto that grindstone and start doing what we do for a living to start another work week. It is time to cease all the fun and get back to making this a better world for each of us to live in.

Today I am going to have a Doctor's visit, this will be my first one in some time due to the events over the last year or so, it was just time. I'll be starting work a little earlier today so I don't miss too much time from work. especially after missing about 10 hours on this upcoming paycheck due to Thanksgiving and me leaving a couple hours early for a job interview a couple of weeks ago. No biggie though, as this will probably be a 2 job day as I go out and work for RTI after I get done with work.

Other than that, looking at the week ahead it doesn't appear to be too busy. Michelle is not working Saturday so it should be a typical Monday-Friday week for her. For me, I'll be raining on something new at work as we are trying to wrap some things up on schedule. Still GIS related and it's just learning new features as opposed to what I have been working on.

Have yourselves a great day.

Sunday

Here I sit once again in a quiet household, it's just me up as Peanut is off sleeping somewhere and taking a catnap. I'm up collecting my thoughts for the day and planning out how my day will go today. I'll have a lot to do as I do on this day.

Grocery shopping, some chores are on my agenda for the day. It's our boring typical Sunday Morning routine, but one we do every Sunday morning. We're pretty much like clockwork with our Sunday Mornings.

Afterward, it is time for me to head back to Hundred West Virginia once again to work today. Out of 8 weekends this quarter, this is my 7th one where I spent both days out in the field working. The only problem with this segment is that it is an hour away and that's each way, so you can pretty much tell how my weekend goes. The good news is there are only 3 more weekends left in the quarter before we shut the project down for the year.

The good news is I did get to watch the WVU game yesterday, I don't get to watch too many games especially when they are played earlier in the day and I'm out working. I also got to watch the WVU Basketball game Friday evening which is also a rare occurrence.

Have yourselves a great day.

Saturday

Here I sit once again, the calm before the storm we could say. Peanut and I are discussing the Sloth and Turtle race which has now covered almost 40 yards. There is something playing on the boob tube, no idea what it is as it is just noise to me as I never pay attention to it.

I'm heading out to Hundred yet once again today, working for RTI and basically revisiting places that were not home the first time I stopped by. Not exactly my most productive quarter, but I have other things going on so it hasn't gotten the attention I gave it the first part of the year. The project only has a few more weeks to go before we wind up the 2021 year and start preparing for 2022.

WVU plays this evening at 7:00  on FS1. At Stake, bowl eligibility and our opponent is one that is up and coming but also one that we should in fact beat. We'll have to wait and see, however Kansas while the bottom of the league has previously beaten us before, so anything can happen.

Michelle is off today and enjoying her weekend. No big plans for her as far as I know, but that can always change.

Have yourselves a great day

Happy Birthday Valarie Jo

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my lovely Niece Valarie Jo a very Happy Birthday. She is someone who is always there in times of need for whoever needs it and is an amazing young woman with a lot of fight in her.

Not sure what She or Aaron has planned for the day, but if I know Val she will have something on the agenda if it didn't already happen yesterday evening and into this morning if the opportunity is available.

Val is a remarkable young lady who is an inspiration to those around her whether she realizes it or not, her actions are seen by all and she is influencing the next generation whether this is her intention or not.

If you happen to see Val today, make sure that you wish her a very Happy Birthday today in addition to overdosing on tryptophan.

Happy Birthday, Val you are an inspiration to all.

Big Ole Hairy Black Friday

Yes it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Black Friday, let the Mayhem begin.

Both Michelle and I are working today, so neither one of us is intending on doing any "Black Friday" shopping, but I will make my weekly Sams Club trip this afternoon when I get off of work. So technically I will be shopping, but not Black Friday Shopping.

The High School Football playoffs are in the semi-final rounds. All four Monongalia County teams have already been eliminated at this point and their seasons are all completed. Good luck to the remaining 12 teams in the three classes of competition this weekend. This is what you have busted your butts for all year.

West Virginia Football will be playing Kansas tomorrow night at 7:00 on FS1. At stake for the Mountaineers will be that all-so-important sixth win on the season that would make us bowl eligible. A win and the team gets to continue to practice and work together in preparation for the Bowl Game. A loss means the 2021 season is over with and they won't be practicing again until Spring Drills. I'm happy that it is an evening game and I'll be able to watch it.

Have yourselves a great day, my day off is over with and a new streak begins.

Photo Flashback Thursday

Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out, time to look at some of the 30,000+ photos that I have stored on my computer. Little lost moments in time that I either captured with a lens, scanned, or just stole from someplace on the internet. I like to find just one and post it up and recall or relive the picture to the best of my ability. Sometimes this is a pretty easy task and sometimes it's not that easy, one thing it has always been a whole lot of fun.

This week's pic goes back two years ago, back to the time that we can start referring to as BC (Before Covid), when Jim and Chris would have a big Thanksgiving get-together at the Cassville Firehall. This pic was taken from the last one of those events that we did together.

It's a pic of Michelle along with Hayley, Tyler and Luke after we had all eaten and had the auction that we held every year to pay for the festivities. So much has changed since this picture, Hayley now has the last name of Ash, Luke is in the Boy Scouts and a little bit taller.

This year Michelle and I are doing a small turkey and ham at home. We're both working tomorrow, so if it doesn't start too late we'll also do a little bit of bowling after dinner.

Have yourselves a great Day

* I'm Not sure if I have ever mentioned to anyone ever before, or if I have even said anything on this blog about it, but I Hate Snow.

* Bowling Thursday evening, need to get some details first though. Should be fun, hopefully, it doesn't start too late as both Michelle and I have to work the next day.

* Kiwi has taught himself a new word. That word is "Alexa", as in my Amazon Alexa that we have around the house. He says it and it lights up, I'm just waiting for Amazon to all of a sudden deliver a bid jacuzzi that he orders.

* Have yourselves a great day.

Here we go yet once again, it's time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto that grindstone and start doing what we do for a living to start another work week. It is time to cease all the fun and get back to making this a better world for each of us to live in.

Today is a big day in West Virginia. Many people actually schedule their vacations around the first day of Buck Season here. It's the biggest hunting day of the year here in West Virginia. Here is to a safe return to all of the hunters hitting the woods this morning and this week, may your aim be sharp and may you bag a trophy and return home safely.

I'm most likely working both jobs today so I am going to have a pretty busy week until Thursday when I will be off for Thanksgiving.

Have yourselves a great day and may you hunters return home safely.

Sunday

Well surprisingly the Mountaineers managed to pull it off and beat the University of Texas 31-23Here I sit on a quiet Sunday Morning, Peanut had to rewind her stopwatch in timing the Sloth and Turtle in that 100-yard dash that started last week. Thye have managed to stay neck and neck in these first 8 yards that they have covered.  yesterday here in town. It was the 5th win of the year for the Mountaineers keeping their bowl hopes alive while eliminating Texas from any bowl consideration as this was their 7th loss. The Mountaineers take on Kansas next week, who had their first conference win last week against Texas. The Mountaineers should be able to pull this off and reach 6-6 on the season qualifying them for bowl participation. Good job and congratulations to the outgoing Seniors on this task on Senior Day.

Michelle will be heading back home today with her Sister Chris, or at least that is what is in the plans for her today. I'll once again be heading to Hundred to work today. I was there all day yesterday and beat the game-day traffic letting out. I will be off Thanksgiving Day and that will end my consecutive days worked streak at 24  and 46 out of 48 days for me.

Have yourselves a great day

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here my co-author Peanut and I sit in a quiet household, Michelle is off in Lala land snoozing away and we're out here discussing some very important cat issues. Like why does she only like catnip-flavored treats and will pick them out if I mix them up, but she'll lick her own butt? It just doesn't make sense to this human.

Today will be the last HOME football game of the 2021 season. It's Senior Day when we say goodbye to many who have been in the program for a number of years and are about to Graduate. The Opponent for the day is the University of Texas Longhorns. Texas is on a 5 game losing streak after losing to Kansas last week, but something tells me that they are going to be fired up and ready as that was pretty much an embarrassing loss for them. The game is at Noon on ESPN 2 and the loser of this game will officially be eliminated from bowl consideration this season. I have a sinking feeling that that is going to be us today.

What's on my agenda? You guessed it, I'm heading to Hundred West Virginia to once again work for RTI. Last week because of the Federal Vaccine mandate we literally lost half of our staff in West Virginia and we were short-handed before that even. Usually, it takes 10 Field Interviewers in the state and we have been short-handed since COVID started. We had a total of 6 FI's and we just lost 3 of those last week, leaving me and two others covering the entire state and I'm working full time on another job. So I'm going to remain busy for another month.

Have yourselves a great day.

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

How about a little bit of High School Football to start your weekend. Well we are at the State Quarterfinals and there is only one Monongalia County team left. Undefeated and 4th ranked University High is at home and hosts Cabell Midland this evening. The Hawks are 11-0 on the season and are looking to extend the streak to 12 games tonight. Good Luck Hawks, brink it home.

Tomorrow the Mountaineers host the Texas Longhorns in what will be the last home game of the year. Traffic should be a little heavy as Texas usually travels pretty well, but we're both kinds of bad right now so we'll have to wait and see.

My weekend plans? Lather, Rinse Repeat. I'll be heading to Hundred West Virginia yet once again and working for RTI. There is end in sight for me however, I'm taking Thanksgiving off and that will stop my streak once again. It'll all start up the next day and the count will probably go to the week of Christmas. I would have worked Thanksgiving for Duquense Light, but even working from home they need some kind of a supervisor on duty for us to work and it's a Holiday for them. That and I'm not knocking on any doors for RTI on Thanksgiving, I could be the Turkey on the table if I did that.

Have yourselves a great day.

This weeks picture is from the evening of Gingerbread House building last year that my sister Kim Hosted. Mim, Michelle, Terri, Brittany and Melody all had gingerbread kits and Kim had supplied a lot of other supplies so that they could all get creative and creative is what they got.

It was a fun evening and Michelle's is still sitting on top of our TV in the living room. Not sure if I would eat it at this point, but do people actually eat gingerbread houses?

Have yourselves a great day.

Monday

Here we go yet once again, it's time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto that grindstone and start doing what we do for a living to start another work week. It is time to cease all the fun and get back to making this a better world for each of us to live in.

I hope everyone had a good weekend, I know I'm not too fond of the white stuff that has been falling from the sky the last couple of days, but it is what it is. Not sure if I have ever mentioned it here before, but I hate snow. Peanut just told me that she hares snow as well, but she loves catnip-flavored cat treats. I'm not sure what this has to do with Mondays or my hatred of snow, but she feels she just needed to get that out for everyone who might be thinking of buying her a Christmas Present.

It's going to be another busy week for me, I'm working both jobs today as so get some Monday visits to my Morgantown segment. It's day 15 in a row for me, I put in 61 billable hours last week, you figure that is averaging almost 9 hours a day every day. I'm starting to get a little antsy, but I found out that I am in fact off from both jobs on Thanksgiving I think, although I wouldn't mind doing GIS work that day as that is done from home.

I hope everyone has a great week this week. Make the most of it and do what you do to make this a better rock to live on.

Sunday

Here I sit on a quiet Sunday morning, of course, Peanut is up chatting away with me and still debating who would win a 100-yard dash between the sloth and the turtle. Peanut and Michelle think the turtle would win. Sophie and I have our money on the sloth. Kiwi said he'll keep a birds-eye view on the race and report back to us.

We'll be heading out doing some weekly grocery shopping this morning. I've already purchased our turkey and a ham for Thanksgiving dinner and they are sitting in the fridge just relaxing. Funny how everyone is posting pics of these ridiculously priced turkeys, Walmart has them for $0.89 a pound.

I did get to see my first snow of the season yesterday in Hundred. Michelle was a Jim and Chris's as Jim is installing a car lift in his garage and was pouring the floor yesterday. So that is where she saw it as well. Of course, my attire for yesterday was shorts and a T-shirt, but I had my jacket in the car so I was pretty comfortable.

The Steelers are playing the Detroit Lions this afternoon at 1:00. I'll tune in and listen via SiriusXM in the car. It's always nice doing that as you can get your favorite team's perspective on the game. It helps when I'm away and can't watch it.

Have yourselves a great day, this is day 14 in a row for me after having a weekend off a couple of weeks ago. It's also 36 out of 38 days and tomorrow is Monday and extends it at least another 5-6 days if not more.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit in a quiet household, I'm up a little early with my friend Peanut-who is out here keeping me company. We're in a deep conversation over who would win a 100-yard dash, a sloth, or a turtle. Right now if they would race, I would say it's an even-money bet on who would cross first. Hell I should get involved in this race too.

I'm heading out to Hundred once again today to work for RTI. I'll be there both today and tomorrow trying to get all the lines activated in that segment. The Cassville segment due to us being down for a week in Monongalia County and me working Hundred last weekend had some lapses, but we got them all taken care of this week and should be good to go with that re-opened segment.

WVU is on the road today at Manhatten Kansas taking on Kansas State at Noon on FS1 here in Morgantown. I'll be listening to it hopefully as I am working, once again I don't have too much confidence in this game. We have won the last 5 in a row for this series, so we are going to need this one and the Kansas game at the end of the year to be bowl eligible.

Have yourselves a great day

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes, it is once again that time of the week that we all look forward to when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

However, let's get to the important things. How about a little bit of High School Football to start your weekend. The Regular season has officially ended and it's playoff time. Undefeated and #4 University hosts Woodrow Wilson this evening. University finished the regular season with an unblemished 10-0 record. #14 Morgantown travels to Bridgeport to play a team that beat them 31-20 in week 2. #10 Trinity travels to Hames Monroe and #13 Clay Battelle travels to Ritchie County this evening. Good luck to all 4 Monongalia County teams this evening.

The WVU Football team is on the road this weekend at Kansas State in a game that we are the underdogs. What is at stake, if we lose this game we will not get to 6 wins and will not be bowl eligible this year. We're not going to beat Texas and we will probably beat Kansas, so this game is very important.

There will be traffic in town this evening, as the WVU Men's Basketball team takes on those puppy and kitten-hating devil worshipers to the north. The evilest school is ever known to man, yes the University of Pittsburgh (or Pitt) will be in town tonight for a sold-out game at 8:30 at the Coliseum. Cheer on our boys against those puppy and kitten haters. I bet they don't eat pepperoni rolls or put slow on their chili dogs, so you know you can't trust them.

Have a great day and EAT SHITT PITT!!!!!!

This week's pic goes back to 2010, Michelle, Hayley and I all decided to take a day trip to Black Water Falls for the day. We had stopped along the way at the smallest church and the smallest post office in the country.

We stopped for a break on our trip as so many do when they travel from Morgantown. It was actually both my and Michelle's first visit to the place, we've stopped back by a few other times when we were traveling through the area as I'm sure many do on their same journey.

Have yourselves a great day

Tuesday's Tidbits

* Monday is now behind us all and today is a double job kind of day for me, goos reason to do a tidbits.

* It has been 21,165 days since I was born, that is 21 years using my new and improved 991 day Calender. I prefer my calendar as it is the best calendar and it is variable.

* It has been 6,399 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography. I'm so happy to be going back to work in my field. I love GIS.

* 4,983 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, Pizza Hut and 10,000 BC, would you believe Michelle still talked to me after that movie choice. The movie was in fact that bad.

* 4,205 days ago I proposed to Michelle, she was expecting it as we had already bought the engagement ring and it was sitting in the safe.

* It was 3,748 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, Michelle and I became husband and wife at the Marilla Center, then we feasted like Kings and Queens. It was a memorable day.

* I have now lived 1,370 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going strong. I wish this was one bullet point that I didn't have to do. A few more months and I'll start tracking how much longer I lived than my oldest sibling.

* I have 3,760 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there, but I love doing what I do.

* The next Backyard Brawl where we beat Pitt's ass in Football is only 306 days away. I still don't like Pitt.

* There are 270 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Eleventh Wedding Anniversary together. =)

* There are only 132 days until the start of Spring 2022. My favorite season of the year rolls around again.

* There are 92 days until Michelle and I head to Pittsburgh to see Reba in concert. The Concert was supposed to be this August (actually it was supposed to be in March of last year) and they have moved it until the middle of February next year. So basically I bought tickets for a concert in 2022 in 2019.

* 83 more days until Phil steps to center stage again for Groundhogs Day, he has ended his winter vacation and can once again be seen in the back yard eating the Corn Michelle puts out.

*53 more days to go until my Goodbye 2021 Blog is posted, it's been eventful.

* There are 44 more shopping days left until Christmas 2021.

* The next Anniversary of my 21st Birthday will be in 22 more days. Maybe I should make that 387 days.

* I have written 6,589 blogs in the now 17 years since I started blogging. Seems like it was just yesterday that I started all of this.

* Drone still needs to be sent out for repairs, not a big priority at this time.

* Double kind of job day for me today, working from home then heading out and doing some fieldwork this afternoon.

* WVU is on the road this weekend at Kansas State. We're underdogs in this game as well, the way we played last week I'm not surprised.

* WVU Basketball begins their 2021-2 season this evening, I'll be out working so I may not get a whole lot done.

* I'm Not sure if I have ever mentioned to anyone ever before, or if I have even said anything on this blog about it, but I Hate Snow.

* Order some Pampered Chef stuff to help Michelle's Party. She's keeping it open, and I received the stuff I ordered over the weekend.

* Have yourselves a great day.

Monday

Here we go yet once again, it's time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto that grindstone and start doing what we do for a living to start another work week. It is time to cease all the fun and get back to making this a better world for each of us to live in.

I hope everyone enjoyed that long weekend where we got an extra hour of sleep yesterday, now that we are all refreshed and ready to go I look at my week ahead.

I'm working a couple evenings this week for RTI, Tuesday and Thursday evenings are on my agenda, I think limiting it to two weekday days a week plus weekends works best for me, especially since we are over a month into the quarter and only have about six weeks left to work this quarter. I'm still working full-time from home in GIS . Life is busy, to say the least, but I'm feeling productive.

We managed to take our EZ Up down for the winter and also took the air conditioner out of the window and turned the furnace on this weekend. Temperatures have dropped and it no longer feels like summer. Now that the days are shorter and we've turned the clocks back, I can start looking forward to Spring =)

Have yourselves a great day and a great start to the week.

Sunday

Here I sit once again in a quiet household, I'm up early because I just wake up early, that's just who I am. I'm here trying to forget yesterday's disaster and chatting with Peanut on some deep man-to-cat conversations on Geography Projections.

First and foremost today, you get an extra hour of sleep this evening as we just set the clocks back one hour, actually a little while ago so when you get up in the morning change your clocks. Most of mine do it automatically, but we still have a few traditional clocks that will have to be set manually back an hour.

Day seven for me as I head back to Hundred again today to work for RTI. Monongalia County is reopened so I'm working those segments as well, so after a nice week break, I'm back at it for a few more weeks. Hundred is a nice little town and I always enjoy visiting there when I'm there. For the most part people are pretty friendly, unlike some other areas around the state.

Grocery shopping, chores and I'll be out the door this morning heading west. Michelle gets a day off, so she's due for a little R & R today, something tells me she will have a nap involved in her schedule.

Have yourselves a great day.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit in a quiet household, Michelle will be up soon as this is her weekend to work. I'm sitting out here with Sophie and Peanut discussing the price of tea in China and other interesting subjects.

As I said this is Michelle's Saturday to work, she was off yesterday and is working today. She was a real trooper running around yesterday and getting a lot of things done that needed to be done.

As for me, I'm back at it again with RTI this morning. I'll be heading west to the next county over and working both today and tomorrow before returning to my at-home-based GIS job on Monday. The good news is Monongalia County has reopened and I can start working for RTI again locally in the evenings. I don't even know why they bothered shutting it down for a week only to reopen it the next week.

It's football weekend here in Morgantown. WVU pl;ays host to 11th ranked Oklahoma State this afternoon at 3:30. The game will be broadcast over ESPN for all who have cable to see, unlike last week where the game was on a subscription-based ESPN+. Of our last four games, only Oklahoma State is ranked in the top 25. I say take Oklahoma State.

However, let's get to the important things. How about a little bit of High School Football to start your weekend. The 9-0 and 2021 Mohawk Bowl Champion University High Hawks are at home hosting Oak Hill as they try to have an unblemished regular season. Morgantown will play playing for their playoff lives as they travel to Spring Mills. Trinity is at home and hosts Madonna and Clay Battelle will travel out the road to beautiful Hundred West Virginia to take on the Hundred Hornets. Goof luck to all Mon county teams, hopefully they can have a sweep of the nights' festivities.

Michelle is off today as tomorrow is her weekend to work. She'll be doing a lot of running around today and really helping out. She does work tomorrow though.

Speaking of Tomorrow, I travel to Hundred West Virginia to open up a new segment. I'll probably be there for a few weeks as I try to open up all the lines. I can only make it up there on Saturdays and Sundays as it is about an hour each way. Hopefully, I can get through the segment over the next couple of weeks.

Have yourselves a great day.

This weeks pic dates back to the Summer of 2020, COVID was in full swing, Michelle was working exclusively from home and the animals were going outside on a daily basis enjoying the weather.

Kiwi out green cheek conure, or as I prefer to call him the asshole because he likes to bite me when I'm feeding him, was outside enjoying rhe company of his outdoor friends rather than the cyber-friends that he can't see thanks to Alexa. It was warmer weather and we were both home all day, so we would allow asshole I mean Kiwi the luxury of going outside and enjoying the weather.

Have yourselves a great day

* A special thank you to everyone over the last couple of weeks. It's not something that will be discussed here as it is a private issue, but a general Thank You to everyone.

* We got our Christmas Shirts for Christmas Eve.

* Order some Popcorn, help a kid out. I've already got mine and it's pretty good popcorn. You know when fall comes around, it's hard to beat a fresh-popped bowl of delicious popcorn.

* Order some Pampered Chef stuff to help Michelle's Party. She's keeping it open, and I received the stuff I ordered over the weekend. Got a really nice meat thermometer, some paring knives and a few other things.

Monday

All good things must come to an end and for most people including me, this weekend includes those fun-filled days off that we refer to as weekends. Now it is time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone for another fun-filled week of doing what it is we do for a living and changing the world.

One streak is over and another one begins. With RTI shutting down Monongalia County from being worked due to COVID and my materials not being here yet for my new segment, today starts a new streak for me as I'll be working the next few weekends. So new streak day 1, but it shouldn't be that bad and my next day off should be in a few weeks.

It was almost a perfect weekend for me, the Mountaineers won, the Steelers won but the Mohigans lost the MoHawk Bowl to crosstown rival University High. I did manage to get a nice needed nap in yesterday afternoon, and McDonalds has brought back the McRib, so it was a pretty good weekend.

Have yourselves a great day.
