Saturday

Here I sit on a quiet Saturday Morning, I'm up and collecting my thoughts for the day with something or another on the TV behind me. My Co-Author Peanut is snuggled up with Michelle and staying warm so I am writing solo this morning without the feline perspective.

I'm back out in the field today working for RTI (Seems like the story of my life), traveling to a new area to try and start doing a little bit of cleanup for the segment. I do have to say that I am about ready for this quarter to come to a completion, and I'm ready for a little rest and relaxation before it all kicks off again in a little over a month from now. There are supposed to be three of us working North Central WV, the girl from Clarksburg quit in March and the girl from Elkins also just quit and I'm doing this on the side rather than full time so it puts a lot of the burden on me.

I did get to enjoy most of the final WVU Football game of the year yesterday. We were a two touchdown underdog and we managed to get out of there with a 20-17 victory to end the season on a positive note. I do have to say I have to question some of our strategy at the end of the game, but the Defense stepped up twice and quickly squashed any chance TCU had in mounting any kind of a late comeback. There is still a lot of work to do with this program and we did not qualify for a bowl game, so hopefully the coaches will be out concentrating on recruiting.

Michelle managed to get the start of our 2019 Christmas Tree up yesterday as I was at work. She went to Lowes yesterday and purchased a tree and came home and set it up. She has the lights on it and will most likely decorate it today as I'm out working today.

Have yourselves a great day today.

Big Ole Hairy Black Friday

Yes it is once again that time of the week that we all look foreword to, when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Black  Friday.

Today is the busiest shopping day of the year, I guess you can call it the un-official start of the Christmas Shopping season. Chaos has been traditionally been associated with this day, but I think it has died down a little bit over the past few years especially with things like Cyber Monday. Plus I think the shoppers have finally said enough with the sales getting earlier and earlier and really interfering with people's time with the family for Thanksgiving.

I will be working today, I'm pretty much the low man on the totem poll and will be going into the office. I don;t really mind, most people are going to be off and we contractually have to have people there. I think Michelle is planning on putting up the Christmas Tree either today or tomorrow, so it's just be that I stay out of her way...lol

Have yourselves a great day.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm going to shy away from my normal Photo Flashback Format today and just talk a little bit about Thanksgiving.

Since Michelle and I first started dating years ago, we have spent every Thanksgiving at the Cassville Firehall with an extended Thanksgiving Dinner.

It's pretty much an open invitation, and there is always plenty of food to be had, no one should ever even consider leaving even slightly hungry.

The nice thing is, this years Dinner was financed last year and next years dinner will have the funds raised this evening. Everyone brings some kind of an item to donate to auction off. Jim has a big auction at  the end of the day and we raise money to cover the cost of renting the facility and the cost of most of the food.

This evening after Thanksgiving I think Michelle and I are going to stop at the Bowling Alley and watch everyone in my family do their traditional Thanksgiving Night Bowling.

Have yourselves a great day and Goggle till you Wobble.

Happy Birthday Valarie Nicholson

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my Niece Valarie Nicholson a very Happy Birthday. She is someone who is always there in times of need for whoever needs it and is an amazing young woman with a  lot of fight in her.

Not sure what anyone has planned for the day, but if I know Val she will have something on the agenda if it didn't already happen yesterday evening and into this morning if the opportunity is available.

Val is a remarkable young lady who is an inspiration to those around her whether she realizes it or not, her actions are seen by all and she is influencing the next generation whether this is her intention or not. Val is fighting the fight with MS.

If you happen to see Val today, make sure that you wish her a very Happy Birthday today.

Happy Birthday Val, you got this.

Tuesday's Tidbits

* The next Backyard brawl where we beat Pitt's ass in Football is only 1,010 days away.

* There are 253 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Ninth Wedding Anniversary together.

* There are only 115 days until the start Spring 2020, the time of the year that I love so much.

* I'm still looking for a cheap riding lawn mower, something tells me prices are going to be dropping soon.

*  Tomorrow should be a short day for me at work, they usually let us out a few hours early just before the Thanksgiving Holiday.

* Speaking of Thanksgiving, Michelle is going over to the Firehall tomorrow after work to help Jim and Chris start cooking and to set up for Turkey Day.

* Have yourselves a great day.

Monday

Well my streak is over, the weekend is now behind us and I'm getting ready to start another days working streak that will extend to the number....3. Now it's time to take my butt into the office and start the first of those three days.

I will be in the office today, mainly because it is the most missed day or the day where the most people take vacation here in West Virginia. It is the official start of traditional Buck season, this is the two week period WV Hunters can actually shoot a buck with a regular rifle.

I know there are a number of friends and family members who are out seeking that venison treat, I just hope this is a day that each and every one of them gets their trophy and each and every one of them return safely to their families this evening.

Have yourselves a great day today.

A Day Off

Here I sit in a quiet household, Michelle is up at the hospital welcoming Amanda and Joey's newest edition to the family. I'm sitting here watching South Park and contemplating going back to bed.

Today is going to not only be a day where we welcome a new edition to the family, it is also going to be a day when we say goodbye to Sherri Toth. Her services are from Noon till 2:00 today with the services directly following at Hastings Funeral Home. Everyone should be in town today to pay their respects and say their goodbyes. Patty had a dinner at her home last night that Michelle and I went to, it felt like a Valley Mart Reunion as I saw a few old co-workers and some people I haven't seen in some time.

There was some additional sad news yesterday, my sister Kim's Sister In Law had also passed away yesterday as they received word yesterday Morning.

Have yourselves a good day and cherish it, because you never know when it will be your last one.

Saturday

Here I sit in a quiet household, I'm up watching who knows what and trying to collect my thoughts for the day. Peanut is around here somewhere and I expect her to arrive as my co-author at any convenient time for her.

Today is day 55 in a row for me working one job or the other, I had intended to extend the streak until Thursday when I was going to take off, but today is going to be the last day of the streak and that is where the streak will end. I do have to say I'm pretty sure that this is my longest streak I have had.  We lost our Clarksburg FI earlier this year and I have been pulling double duty the last three quarters.

I received some very sad news earlier this week, Sherri Toth had passed away on Monday. Sherri is Michael's sister and Mickey and Patty's daughter and has basically been my next door neighbor as well as family for most of her life. I've lived in the Valley on three different occasions where she has been my neighbor. They are going to have her viewing and funeral tomorrow at Hastings Funeral Home.

Today in Morgantown the Mountaineers will be hosting Oklahoma State at noon. It's Senior Day meaning that this will be the last home game of the season. I want to thank all the departing Seniors for their time at this program and the excitement you have brought all of us. No predictions on the game, Oklahoma State is a 6 point favorite, but it's a lot warmer in Oklahoma than it is in Morgantown right now so you never know what will happen.

Have a great day

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes it is once again that time of the week that we all look foreword to, when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

Looking for some football, or should I say looking for an end to this atrocious season? Well the Mountaineers play their last home game of the season tomorrow when we play host to Oklahoma State here in Morgantown. it has been a very long year and a humbling one to say the least.

My plans for the weekend are the same as they have been for a while, I'll be out doing field work once again for RTI. I'm trying like hell to get these sections worked down and closed out, I'm at the point where I am personally ready to shut down for a few weeks to rest and relax before a new year starts in January.

Have yourselves a great day.

Photo Flashback Thursday

Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out, time to look at some of the 30,000+ images that I have either captured with a Camera, Scanned or just simply stolen off the internet. Little lost moments in time that I post up and relive tight here for everyone while I try to recall the moments around that image. Sometimes it's pretty easy to find that image and sometimes it's a challenge, although one thing it always is is a whole lot of fun for me.

Let's go waaaaaay back for this picture, so far back that it predates about anyone who is reading this. The little boy with the had on in the middle of the picture is my Grandpa Hall and the man with a little girl on his lap would be my Great-Grandfather Lee Hall. My guess is the little girl is either my Grandfather's sister Hazel or Eva and the other two boys being his Brothers Lincoln and Russell. I have no clue as to the identity to the man on the left hand side of the picture.

I'm guessing that this picture based on my Grandfather's age at the time was the possibly the late 1890's or more likely the early 1900's. He was born in 1893, so a guestimate on his age will get you pretty close to the year that this picture was taken. My guess is that this picture was taken in Jeanette Pennsylvania where he was originally from.

Have yourselves a Great Day

Monday

All good things must unfortunately come to an end, and that includes those fun filled things that many of you refer to as weekends. Now it is time to stick our collective noses back onto the grindstone and get back to doing what it is wee do for a living.

For me however, my consecutive days worked streak hits a milestone of 50 consecutive days worked today. Seven consecutive weeks and a day since this old boy had a day off from both of my jobs at the same time. It's winding down, I'm planning on breaking the streak on Thanksgiving but that is going to be a full day as well with the dinner at the Firehall and probably bowling later in the evening.

No big plans for this week, no mandatory meetings or fires to put out, but that can always change on a whim and my life gets busier. I'm not complaining though, I love what I do.

Both Michelle and I should be home most of the days this week after work. My RTI local stuff is in cleanup and she is done with the Vets, so we'll finally get to see each other in the evenings. With the exception of Wednesday Night, she has a thing for work in Bridgeville and may just stay the evening with Tyler, Hayley and Luke.

Have yourselves a great day.

Sunday

Here I sit on a quiet Sunday Morning, my co-author is probably snuggled up someplace warm and I'm out here typing my thoughts onto my keyboard. I'm up a little earlier than I want to be watching Bad Teacher and starting to plan my day out.

Once again I'll be out doing field work for RTI. I have a good feeling about today where I'm going to get myself a few interviews and make the day go a little bit quicker. I have a number of them lined up, it's just going to be a matter of whether or not I can find them home and complete them.

Well the Mountaineers surprised me a little bit yesterday. The Mountaineers went on the road to Kansas State and beat the 24th ranked Wildcats 24-20 in a game that looked very ugly from the beginning after Kansas State  scored on a 68 yard TD pass on their first offensive play. The Mountaineers rallied with redshirted QB Jarret Doege, a transfer from Bowling Green who can play in 4 games this season and then still have two years of eligibility remaining. It was a  great weekend to be a Mountaineer as the Men's Basketball team got their 99th win against arch rival Pitt and the Football team stopped a losing streak and pulled one out on the road against a ranked opponent.

Have a great day today, make the most of it.

For the 49th day in a row...Hi ho hi ho

Saturday Morning Rambling

Here I sit in a quiet household, I'm wiping the sleep from my eyes and starting to plan out my day. I'm up watching Just Like Heaven on HBO and wondering where my co-author is this morning.

My day includes me heading out for day number 48, 48 consecutive days of working one job, the other or both. I'll be traveling down south working for RTI and try my best to finish up that segment before we send it off for cleanup. The two segments I was given initially had been transferred to another Field Interviewer for Clean Up (done locally and traveling East). I was assigned a segment for cleanup in another area, but I won;t be working that this weekend. I anticipate this being my longest streak and just like I predicted at the start of the quarter, this streak will extend until Thanksgiving ending it at 59 days. I'm ready for a break to be honest with you.

Michelle is going to work her last day today at the Vet, She's been there a year and a half and they have sold the practice and today is the last day for the owner who hired her. Ownership transfers at midnight this evening and Michelle will be working today to finalize all the paychecks, bonuses and outstanding bills. The job was causing her more stress than what it was worth, so she is happy for it to finally be over with. The way Extreme is growing, her efforts really are more valuable elsewhere.

It was a great day to be a Mountaineer yesterday, the Basketball version of the Backyard Brawl was played and the Mountaineers went into the Zoo (what Pitt calls their arena) and tamed the animals that reside in the zoo 68-53. It's always a great day when you beat Pitt in anything.

Have yourselves a great day today, and make the most of it.

No High School football for any of the Monongalia County Teams, all four local schools have completed their seasons and none of them have qualified for the post season.

What are my plans for the weekend? I'll be out doing some more field work for RTI. Big surprise there I know, or should I just say it's another lather, rinse and repeat kind of weekend for me. I'm ready for this quarter to allow me a little bit of a break.

Have yourselves a great day.

Photo Flashback Thursday

Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out, time to look back through the 30,000+ pictures that I have either captured with a camera, scanned or just stolen from some place on the internet and select just one picture. One lost moment in time to post up and relive briefly right here for everyone. Sometimes this is a little challenging and sometimes it's a breeze, it's always a lot of fun so no complaints from me.

This picture goes back a lot of years, back to the 1960's when my Dad married his second wife Jean at Drummand Chapel Church. My Grandmother is standing there in the blue dress, my Dad standing beside her in the white tux, Jeanie and then her Dad are the four in the receiving line.

I Think my Aunt Glenna Mae is there with Lynn in the middle of the picture, but I'm not sure if that is them or not. It could very well be. I was there somewhere, probably standing beside my grandmother, but that is just a guess and I could be wrong about that as well.

Veterans Day

For most people who either work for the Government, today is the Federal Holiday Veterans Day. A day in which we take off and honor all of of Veterans both past and present.

There are a number of Merchants that are offering discounts to Veterans, including a number of local establishments.

I would like to thank my Nephew Moke who has served in Iraq and my Niece Sarah who has done three tours and still is an active member of the Armed Forces. I thank them and all of the other members of the family who have served. On Michelle's side our Nephew Joey is also a Veteran.

It's a holiday for me at my office, but it is a day that I will be heading East to do a little bit of field work today.

Have yourselves a  great day

Sunday

Here I sit once again in a quiet household, Peanut is somewhere sleeping and I'm out here on the computer watching the Hudsucker Proxy and collecting my thoughts for the day.

Well yesterday was a little bit of a well, tough day here in Morgantown. I was working down south when Michelle sent me a message and told me that Murph Tinsley had passed away. Murph was an end zone camera man and editor for the Mountaineers for years. He never played softball with us, but was always out watching up play or over at one of the guys houses that we sometimes gathered at after a WVU game. It was a running joke that Murph was in the hospital and would have to miss yesterday's game, only his third since the stadium opened. He missed one in the 80's for a friends wedding and one in the early 90's for his Dad's funeral and was hospitalized and was going to have to miss this one. It was all light hearted, until 9:00 yesterday morning. Murph was loved by all, my friends and WVU Football players both past and present. It was a shock and the news shocked everyone. The team played horrible yesterday, but I have to wonder if the news of Murph's passing reached the locker room because they just didn't have that edge.

Speaking of the game Texas Tech, a team I thought we would defeat, beat the Mountaineers 38-17 and the score was closer than the game was. I really thought Texas Tech was pretty classless going for it on 4th down inside the 10 yard line and then passing to try to score. They were up by 25 points at that time, there is just an un-written rule that you don't run up a score when the game is in hand and with his starters still in the game I felt that was the situation.Classless.

Have yourselves a great day today, it could be day 42 for me if I go out to work.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit in a quiet household once again, I think my co-author is as snug as a bug in a rug with Michelle sleeping. I'm up watching who knows what and collecting my thoughts for the day.

While all of my office co-workers enjoy a nice three day weekend, I'm on day 41 of my consecutive days worked streak as I prepare to travel once again today to work for RTI. I'm heading south for the day early this morning, I'm hoping to get back earlier this afternoon so that I can at least get to watch some of the WVU game this afternoon.

I think Michelle is going to go in and put in a full day at the Vet's today. She was a little under the weather this past week and has a little bit of catching up to do. Yes we have both had our flu shots for the year, but we've both gotten a touch of it in the past week.

The Mountaineers are at home today to take on Texas Tech at noon. It's been a long season and we have worked our way through the murderers row portion of the schedule, hopefully the rest of the season won't be as tough as the past month or so has been.

Have yourselves a great day

Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes it is once again that time of the week that we all look foreword to, when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday.

This is actually a Holiday weekend as well believe it or not. Monday is Veterans Day and a Federal Holiday, meaning I get paid to not go to the office today. Woo Hoo

Looking for a littler bit of High School Football action? Well the Mohigans and Hawks are now both done for the year after last Fridays butt whipping the Mohigans handed out in the rivalry. However 2-6 Trinity plays this evening when they travel to Wirt County to play. Clay Battelle at 5-4, the unofficial Mon-County Champions travels to Hundred to take on the Hornets. Good luck to both local teams that are playing tonight.

Congratulations to my Cousin Debbie Koon-Friel for being honored this week as a Most Loyal Mountaineer during Mountaineer Week. She won the award for Most Loyal Staff Mountaineer. Congratulations Deb.

Have yourselves a great day.

Photo Flashback Thursday

Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out and look through some of the pictures that I have either taken, scanned or stolen off of the internet through the years and find one special picture that stands out. Little lost moments in time from yesterday caught with a Cameras lens and relived right here in my blog. Sometimes it's pretty easy to find that one special picture and sometimes it's not that easy, one thing it consistently is however is a whole lot of fun.

You want to talk about a flashback? Enter this photographic time machine and we will travel all the way back to the year of 1976. This was the taken at the start of my 7th grade year at Suncrest Jr High and was my 7th grade picture. Notice that long and blondish hair this exceptionally sexy beau-hunk had back in the day.

I was still 12 years old, as school pictures were always taken earlier in the year, and actually had hair at that time. Hell give me the right clothes hat and I could have passed myself off as Buster Brown rather than my current day Shrek looking of as beau-hunk.

I was foot loose and fancy free during these years of my life, I loved playing Pinball and spending my days swimming during the summer.

Have yourselves a great day.

Tuesday's Tidbits

* Monday is over with, my Co-Author Peanut has informed me it is going to be a one job kind of day, can't think of a better reason to do a tidbits.

* It has been 20,425 days since my birth, that's a lot of days and I'm starting to really accumulate them.

* It has been 5,651 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography, minors in History and Communications.

* 4,252 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, she still loves me all these years later.

* 3,4 days ago I proposed to Michelle, best decision that I have ever made in my life.

* It was 3,00 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, Michelle and I became Husband and Wife. Seems like just yesterday.

* I have now lived 639 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going. It brings how short life is into perspective, hard to believe that he has been gone for 20 years now.

* I have 4,424 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there, like I said I love what I do and who knows when I would retire. I'm losing two friends from work to retirement next month, one at the beginning of the month and one at the end.

* The next Backyard brawl where we beat Pitt's ass in Football is only 1,031 days away.

* There are 274 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Ninth Wedding Anniversary together.

* There are only 136 days until the start Spring 2020, the time of the year that I love so much.

* 89 more days until Phil steps to center stage again for Groundhogs Day. I have treated Phil well this summer, hopefully he returns the favor on this day.

* 73 more days to go until my Goodbye 2019 Blog is posted, something tells me this one is going to be difficult to write this year.

* There are 49 more shopping days left until Christmas 2019.  The smell of Peppermint is starting to radiate through the air.

* My next Anniversary of my 21st Birthday will be in 27 more days, this should be about my 35th Anniversary of it, or would it be the 14th Anniversary of the 21st Anniversary of my 21st Birthday?

* I have written 5,817 blogs in the now 15 years since I started blogging. I'm still a chugging along with my writing.

* No drone flights this weekend, but that has pretty much been my recurring theme this year with that.Come to think of it, I haven't made any real drone flights this year. WTF???

* I'm still looking for a cheap riding lawn mower, something tells me prices are going to be dropping soon.

*  Thinking about posting funny videos on Wednesdays. It's the middle of the week and I most of the time I have nothing meaningful to say anyways, at least provide some entertainment.

* Our open enrollment period has started at work, this is when I choose our benefits package for the next year. How much insurance I want, what kind of coverage and lot of other options. It would be  nice to know my pay raise rate BEFORE they tell me how much my insurance is going up. ..lol

* Have I ever mentioned I hate snow? Even with all the heat, I still hate snow.

* They STILL have not found Mountie Python, the 15' snake that escaped in Sabraton this summer.. He even has his own twitter account.

* I'm STILL converting some old VHS tapes to Digital Format for Trish. I really need to get back on this as I am such a procrastinator.

* Have yourselves a great day.

I Guess It All Starts Again

It's time for most of the world to put their noses back onto the Grindstone for another fun filled week of doing what it is that we do for a living. For me however it is the start of my regular job work week and day 36 in a row that I have worked one job or the other. September 29th was my last day off so to speak.

Looking at my week ahead, other than going to the office and doing a little field work for RTI, my week looks pretty open. I know I'm planning on working both jobs today, so it's going to be a long one for me. I'm pretty sure Michelle is also working both of her jobs today, so I might get to see her sometime...lol

It was a busy weekend for both Michelle and I and my days are getting to the point where they are starting to run together a little bit. Next Monday however is Veterans Day and a Federal Holiday, it could also be a day where I can either consider taking a break or extending that working streak up to day 60 (Thanksgiving) before I get a break. I would like some time off for the Holidays, so I might just try to keep going to get everything closed down.

I do have my trip to St Louis planned, my flight is booked and I have my itinerary already. I booked the same flights for Michelle and get this, we're flying Southwest (best Airline), both the trip there and the trip back are direct flights (that's never happened) and I'll stay an extra night on the the 4th and come home on Sunday the 5th. That means I'll be done and Michelle and I will not have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to catch a flight and will be in downtown St Louis that Saturday evening and won't have a thing that I'll have to do. Would you believe Michelle's round trip ticket was about $200 cheaper than last years?

Have yourselves a great day.

Sunday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit in a quiet house hold once again, the clacks are showing an hour earlier than yesterday as Daylight Savings time has ended and I'm wondering where my co-author is this morning. I'm up watching South Park and collecting my thoughts for the day.

I'm working today and so is my wonderful wife. I',m heading East this morning to do a little field work for RTI and Michelle is going to do payroll at the Vet's Office.

I know she plans on batch cooking some stuffed cabbage soup this afternoon to take into the office for lunches this week. Something tells me she is going to assemble it and then cook it in the crock pot tomorrow while at the office. Her and her Partner in Crime Stacey came up with the idea, they tend to batch cook for the week a few times and bring something in for them to eat while they can. Michelle has scheduled Stacey a full schedule of Interviews the next couple of days, she she will be busy.

Anyone ever used Home Chef? You can buy the meal kits at Krogers and are all the ingredients and instructions to make some pretty good meals that you wouldn't exactly plan on the average week. It's a nice portion size and full of flavor. You can order it online, but Krogers has it all in a box and everything we have had so far is amazing. They have a large selection to choose from and you can see that product moves and is always changing with fresh ingredients. If you don't enjoy cooking, this option obviously isn't for you, but if you do it expands your food universe and the food is amazing.

I guess Jim and Chris's auction went well. Michelle has been looking for a tree bag for our Christmas Tree this year. That way we just have to pull the bag up over the tree before we leave for St Louis and no needled everywhere. Last year we did not drill holes up into the tree and it showed as the needles were falling off left and right. I've had years when the tree was still alive and could be planted again before it was still alive, last year was NOT one of those years. At the Auction they had a large number of toys donated back to the auction and all of those toys will be given to the Westover Santa to be distributed for the 2019 Holiday Season.

Have yourselves a great day.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Co-Author Peanut
Here me and my co-author sit early in the AM, we're both up and watching Beaches on HBO. Peanut of course has positioned herself between me and my keyboard to make typing a little more challenging this morning. She's pacing back and forth and in very deep meow level thought.

Jim and Chris are having an Auction this evening at Mason Dixon Park in the big building. It starts at 6:00 and Michelle will be up there today working helping them out and working the Auction so stop on by and find yourself a bargain and say hello.

Me, I'll be traveling south once again to work today to do a little bit of field work for RTI. They opened up a few partisans this week, s so that means that all of my segments will have added places for me to go and screen to see if anyone is selected to do an interview. After that I will probably come home and relax and try to watch a little bit of football.

Don't forget that tonight we turn our clocks back one hour, meaning it is the end of daylight savings time ends. This is when you get that extra long weekend and get an extra hour of sleep tomorrow.

Have yourselves a great day today.

Looking for a littler bit of High School Football action? Well it is MoHawk Bowl time. The Hapless 2-7 Mohigans which is my Alma Mater will travel to this side of town tonight to take on my homes new school district 3-6 University High Hawks. Neither team appears headed to the playoffs this season, but throw that out the window as this is the Mohawk Bowl. Trinty at 2-6 travels to East Hardy and the countys best team, 4-4 Clay Battelle plays host to Massanutten Academy wherever they are located (Woodstock, Virginia).

Jim and Chris will be having their Christmas toy and tool auction at Mason Dixon Park. My lovely wife will be there working the auction, stop on over and see her and see if you can pick yourself up a bargain or two.

Have yourselves a great day
