Big Ole Hairy Friday

Yes it is once again that time of the week that we all look foreword to, when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy Friday....or something like that.

Michelle is scheduled to have surgery early this afternoon, we have to be at the hospital just before noon and her surgery is scheduled for 1:30 this afternoon. Should take about a half an hour (in surgery) to to this procedure, then she'll head off to recovery and then back home later today. They are going to put a few screws into her arm and do something with a nerve to relieve carpel tunnel (she had the surgery on the other arm years ago) and she should be good to go this afternoon.

That's basically our plans for the day, the things that we usually do on Fridays we've already completed and off of our agenda dedicating the whole day to her surgery and recovery. So it is going to be a get Michelle repaired and better kind of a day.

No plans for me this weekend, Michelle may travel back home for Jonny's Birthday if she feels up to traveling. I guess that will be a tomorrow call rather than something we know for certain today.

Have yourselves a great weekend.

Photo Flashback Thursday

Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out, time to look at some of the 30,000+ images that I have either captured with a Camera, Scanned or just simply stolen off the internet. Little lost moments in time that I post up and relive tight here for everyone while I try to recall the moments around that image. Sometimes it's pretty easy to find that image and sometimes it's a challenge, although one thing it always is is a whole lot of fun for me.

This weeks pic goes back to Joey and Amanda's wedding a few years ago, Michelle and I had went up to see them tie the knot and stayed the evening, this picture was actually taken as we were on our way out the door to the wedding from the hotel....I think. Then again her Niece Samantha took the picture so it could have been in the lobby or actually at the venue.

It was a great time and a great day, Michelle had a great time and I went back to the hotel early because this old fogy was getting a little bit tired. lol

Have yourselves a great day.

Happy Birthday Josh Nicholson

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my great nephew a very Happy Birthday today. Seems like it was only yesterday that he entered into this world. If my math is right, this would make this fine young man 14 years old today.

Val had a combination birthday party for Josh and Erica last month that we all went to and had a good time at.

If you happen to see Josh today, make sure that you take a little bit of time out and wish him a very Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday Josh.

Tuesday's Tidbits

* Monday is completed and another fun filled week of working has started, great time to do a tidbits.

* It has been 20,691 days since I first entered this world as we know it. I've love every day of being here and I hope I have made a few of you happy with knowing me.

* It has been 5,917 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography, specifically GIS.

* 4,518 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, seems like just yesterday.

* 3,742 days ago I proposed to Michelle, 4:00 in the morning in the back yard.

* It was 4,170 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, Michelle and I tied the knot with the help of a co-worker of hers.

* I have now lived 905 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going. It was 21 years ago yesterday that he passed.

* I have 4,186 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there.

* The next Backyard Brawl where we beat Pitt's ass in Football is only 765 days away unless some kind of a deal is worked out this year due to COVID.

* There are 374 days until Michelle and I head to Pittsburgh to see Reba in concert. It was postponed this March to July and now they are pushing the tour until next year. It'll be mine and Michelle's 10th wedding anniversary.

* There are only 327 days until the start Spring 2021!!!!!

* 189 more days until Phil steps to center stage again for Groundhogs Day. Phil, his wife Philamina and their kid Phillip Jr have all been hanging in our back yard.

* 173 more days to go until my Goodbye 2020 Blog is posted, this should be an interesting one.

* There are 149 more shopping days left until Christmas 2020.

* My next Anniversary of my 21st Birthday will be in 124 more days.

* There are 6 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Ninth Wedding Anniversary together.

* I have written 6,098 blogs in the now 15 3/4 years since I started blogging.

* No drone flights this weekend, but that has pretty much been my recurring theme this year with that. I do have a plan to fly Hayley's wedding venue sometime this spring for her.

* Hayley took her Cricut home on friday, she really wan't getting much use for it down here as there are too many distractions.

* Michelle will be visiting the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow for a followup for her wrist.

* Furloughed WVU workers were all called back to work and restarted yesterday, so traffic is going to be a little heavier now.

* Still putting in for jobs left and right, there are some jobs opening up and I'm hoping to hear something from one of them. I may have something in play north of Pittsburgh, we'll have to wait and see. If this works out we would be relocating, but within an hours drive of here. Keep your fingers crossed.

* Corona Virus, you can still track it but it's losing it's steam a little.

* They STILL have not found Mountie Python, the 15' snake that escaped in Sabraton last summer. He is becoming a Morgantown legend now.

* I'm STILL converting some old VHS tapes to Digital Format for Trish. I really need to get back on this as I am such a procrastinator.

* Hi hi hi ho

Monday

Well all of those fun filled times that we had this weekend are now completed, it is time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone for another fun filled week of doing what we do for a living.

After grocery shopping yesterday Michelle went down to visit her Sister at their store in Osage that they are liquidating. She has a little mishap with a doorknob and the next thing you know she is on the ground with a broken wrist. Chris called me as I was at home doing finances and she ran Michelle to Ruby and the ER.

Turns out Michelle broke her Radius bone in her left wrist, her Ulna came through uninjured, but x-rays showed the radius was out if place and had to be re-set. Fortunately it was broken and dislocated, but it was not as bad as the Nurses initially believed as her wrist was displaced.

The Doctor twisted and reset it and put some kind of a soft cast on it. She needs to follow up Wednesday and see if she will require surgery, the re-set seemed to go good, but we'll have to wait until Wednesday to get the final verdict on surgery.

Other than spending half the day at the ER with Michelle, it was a normal day considering.

Have yourselves a great day today.

Sunday

Here I sit once again co-authorless as Peanut is still curled up sleeping with Mommy. I'm up streaming Galaxyquest and attempting to collect my thoughts for the day.

Typical Sunday for us today, go grocery shopping and then come home to do a few chores and pay a few bills. Nothing out of our normal Sunday Routine.

Michelle is still studying for her test from that intensive 9 days of course work for iSolved. She still has a ways to go for her certification, but she has been diligently working towards it this entire month and probably has another month until she sees the end of the tunnel. This is all in addition to her normal job functions so to say she has been busy and focused is an understatement.

Looking at my week ahead, I actually will not have anything to list this week for RTI due to us moving into the second phase of listing. They have a number of segments that they have me targeted for still, but none of them assigned have been assigned yet. For this phase, I am allowed to actually get out of my car as I was not for the previous phase. They've sent me masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, a thermometer, paperwork saying I am essential and need to be out for this Government study and a bunch of other things to list with.

Oh well I'm going to continue to awaken and try to get motivated this morning before we start our running around for the day.

Have a great Sunday and make it memorable.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit on a quiet Saturday morning, I'm up a little early and have no idea what is playing on the TV behind me. My co-author was out gallivanting around  last night like the little cat hussy that she is so it's hard to tell where she is hiding this morning.

Hayley stopped over yesterday afternoon to inventory some of the things Michelle has bought for the wedding so far. She was going to design something for Helena's birthday on the cricut, but I'm not sure of she ever got around to doing any of that.

Michelle had a day running around yesterday, her company won a huge multi-million dollar contract with a company and part of the contract was they had to buy 3 new half ton and one 3/4 ton pickup trucks that they purchased in Clarksburg and had at the Goff Building and had to move all four trucks to Waynesburg for the contract. So she drove to Clarksburg, then drove the 3/4 ton pickup to Waynesburg to have Stacey pick her up in Waynesburg to drive her back to Clarksburg to pick up her car. Bust day to say the least.

That was yesterday and this is today, our plans for the day probably have a visit to Rural King somewhere in the agenda. We go up every couple of weeks to get bird food to put in the feeders. We basically have a zoo in the back yard and Michelle likes to feed them all.

Have yourselves a great day today, make it a good one.

First a Congratulations is in order for my wonderful wife, she has completed 9 days of intense training for iSolved and now only has her Junior and Senior years worth of materials and one final set of training like she just completed next month and she will be one of only two iSolved Certified users in the state of West Virginia. A big congratulations to her, her brain has been mush with information overload as of late.

Me, I have a meeting with my RTI supervisor this morning, she has a number more segments that she needs me to list, but we're moving into the next phase of listing where I can actually exit my car when I'm listing but we have to have a meeting with our Field Supervisors first and watch a powerpoint before we are allowed to move on to the next phase.

Other than that it's been a good week and a busy week for me. I'm not going into any specifics until something officially happens, but I had a pretty good week on the job search front on multiple fronts. I'm actually feeling pretty good after this week for a multitude of reasons, it seems like things are starting to open up in my field. Everything just seemed to be put on hold with COVID-19 for months, so this week was pretty encouraging for me.

Anyways, have a great friday and start of a super-fantastic weekend.

Sometimes it's pretty easy to find that image and sometimes it's a challenge, although one thing it always is is a whole lot of fun for me.

This weeks pic goes way back, back to a time even before I was a twinkle in this players eye, this is a picture of my Dad playing grade school Basketball. I always thought that he went to the Van Voorhis School but his shirt says Bakers Ridge.

I'm guessing that this picture was taken sometime in the later 1950's. My guess would be about  1957 or 1958 or so. He was 17 when I was born and I know Jr High started in 7th grade, so using a little deductive reasoning that is the time frame of the year that I think that this picture was taken. Need a time reference, Hot Rod Hundley would have been WVU's star player or Jerry West would have been playing his first year of Varsity Basketball at WVU.

Have yourselves a great day.

* I have 4,193 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there. I was talking to my Brother in Law George and he's retiring in 1 year and 10 months. Brother in Law Robert retired a couple of years ago, but I'm still chugging along.

* The next Backyard Brawl where we beat Pitt's ass in Football is only 772 days away.

* We still have Hayley's cricut here from a couple weeks ago.

And I'm Off

That wonderful thing we refer to as the weekend is over with, not it's time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone for another fun filled week of doing what it is we do for a living.

I'll be heading out early this morning to head down south to work today and tomorrow. I'll list one segment today and the other tomorrow for RTI before returning home. I'll be working a couple of urban areas, so I won't be doing much of the back roads to no where while I'm listing. I've been to the area before, now I'll just expand my knowledge of the area a little bit.

Michelle is continuing her online instructor lead courses, her last one will be Thursday and then she has to get back into the other stuff to finish her Jr and Sr years and then another set of course like she has been doing the last couple of weeks. I know she's frying her brain with information overload, but she's almost halfway done with the entire course-load.

Today is a day that I will always remember, it was 21 years ago today that George Edward Hall Sr moved on and left this life. So much has happened in those 21 years since his passing that it's too much to mention. Just taking a little time out and remembering the man today.

Have yourselves a great day today

Sunday

Here I sit once again on a quiet Sunday Morning, not sure where my co-author is hiding this morning but she is around here somewhere. The TV is on behind me, but don't ask me what 's on because I'm not paying any attention to it.

Typical Sunday for us, bunch of chores and shopping this morning, then this afternoon Michelle is going to go to a wedding of one of her old co-workers at Tygart Lake and I'm going to finalize my travel plans to work for RTI the next couple of days.

Other than that it's just going to be a routine Sunday for us. I'll probably take Kiwi outside and entertain May and Gracie for the day. Just lounging around the house sounds like a good animal strategy.

Have yourselves a great day today.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit in a quiet Household, once again my co-author peanut is no where to be found this morning. I'm up watching Wrong Missy on Netflix and collecting my thoughts for the day.

Gracie and May are still here and will be until Monday afternoon. They are pleasant and non troublesome house guests, not that any of the 4 legged friends have been troublesome.

Went to the Doctors yesterday, I've put on a few pounds but that was kind of expected. Said I need to lose weight and with Hayley's wedding next year that is not disputable so I'm going to need to start doing something about it.

No plans for the day today, I'll probably be preparing a lot of paperwork so as I can travel and work on Monday and Tuesday for RTI. There is usually a great deal of tedious paperwork that needs to be done before you start listing a segment and planning a route of travel through said segments and documenting that. Nothing too hard, just needs to be done before I leave on Monday.

I did get my county tax bill yesterday and have already paid the entire year. I had until September 1st to pay it but just got it out of the way now to have it over and done with.

Have yourselves a great day.

Happy Birthday Kylea Rae Dalton

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my Great-Niece Kylea Rae Dalton a very Happy Birthday today.

This little photogenic girl is an absolute bundle of joy to be around, I stole this picture from my nice Amy, I believe that just like last year that she took the kids to Idlewild Park over this past weekend, spoiled kids...lol

Let's see, if my math is correct and she was born on this date in 2012, that would make her 2,557 days old (that is 8 to you who use that antiquated 365 day Calendar. I can remember the day this little bundle of joy was born like it was yesterday. I know Ralphie was looking forward to the steak the hospital served him that night.

If you happen to see this little bundle of joy today, make sure that you take a little bit of time out and wish her the happiest of Birthdays today.

Happy Birthday Kynlea.

We are now dog sitting Hayley's two dogs, Gracie and Maybelline. Tyler dropped off Gracie yesterday before work and Josh brought May over so that they two could come and visit. The cats are staying at Hayley's apartment and a friend of theirs is going to check on them and make sure they are alright as they head out to go camping at Rehoboth Beach for a few days. They will pick them up on Monday after work, but until then we are dog sitting.

No plans for Michelle and I this weekend, I'm going to probably head out Monday morning to travel to the Parkersburg area to stay overnight. I'll have two segments that I will be listing down there and it'll take a couple of days to get them done. It shouldn't be any problem as far as I know, but you never know what it is you run into. Hopefully they are more urban and less rural areas.

Michelle is still hard at it with her iSolve, she completed her Freshman and Sophomore courses, then in the middle there is 9 days of instructor lead training with a lot of homework, THEN she has to do her Jr and Sr level classes before she graduates from iSolved University. Payroll services is something that they are going to do with XLSPro, the professional services company that they started. I have to admire the vision of their leadership, they are constantly expanding their services and customer base.

Have yourselves a great day, make it special.

Not sure if I have done this one as a Photo Flashback, but since I have successfully managed to speak to each of these fine people in the last couple of days, I thought it would be appropriate to use this one.

The top pic was taken a number of decades ago at Grandma Hall's House back in the summer of 1978. We had all assembled at her house for a cookout, it was the first picture of the five of us together.

The bottom picture is our attempt to recreate that above picture from all those years ago a few weeks ago at Erica's Sweet 16 Birthday Party.

Have a great day today.

Wednesday

Well what do you know about that, we are going to cross that noon time hump to pass the halfway point as we work towards another fun filled weekend. Yep I'm doing a second written blog in a row now for a Wednesday, simply because I feel like it.

Well I guess my listing this quarter is once again not completed. I will be traveling to the western part of the state probably next week to list two new segments that have been assigned to me. I'll go down and knock them both out, but that will require that I stay there overnight for at least one night most likely next week. This time it will actually be in a sizable city area with a lot of amenities.

I gave the old Air Conditioner that we replaced last week to my nephew Bub. It's larger than the one he has in his house and he thinks it will be a simple repair and he thinks has the parts needed to do it. I dropped it off to him yesterday afternoon, if it gets hot again he's going to love that one.

Keep your fingers crossed, I have a second interview next week with an opportunity I have a good feeling about. This is the second of what would be three interviews before a formal offer were to be made. Not saying much yet, hopefully more details to come in a few weeks.

Have yourselves a great day today, make it a special one.

Monday

Here we go again, that fun filled thing that we refer to as the weekend is once again behind us and we are starting a new Monday and a new work week. It's time to take our collective noses and stick them back onto the grindstone for another fun filled week of doing what we do for a living.

I'll be heading out once again doing a little bit of listing for RTI. We still have not started the screening and interview portion of the job which would have started July 1st. They are using a few test groups out west to see how well they are being received during this pandemic, but once we get the green light I'll be busy for a while if I'm still here and in the area.

Michelle is scheduled for online classes all wee with the iSolved team. She is about halfway there and there is still much to learn for this software. They are going to use it when they open up their XLSPro portion of their company, which deals in professional services. I know she busted her butt for a few weeks to get ton this point where the classroom instruction portion takes over.

Have yourselves a great day today

Sunday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit in a quiet household, I'm the only one up and I have no idea where my co-author is this morning. The TV is on behind me, but I have no idea what's on it as I'm just surfing the Facebook at this moment.

Michelle's sister Chris gave her a box of photos last weekend. It was pictures of them through the years, I managed to scan them all yesterday before we give the actual pictures to Hayley with things like her Dad's drivers license in the box, there were some things that I'm sure they would love to keep.

Other than that it was a pretty lazy day yesterday. I know with three big softball tournaments in town and the covid testing that was going on, Michelle and I were more than happy to simply keep our butts at home and not venture out to do anything or go anywhere. I did get to watch what I will call hilarious conversations on Facebook by a number of people I can only refer to as Future Darwin Award nominees. It's amazing and disturbing how far people will go to push a political agenda, in the middle of a pandemic. Wear your masks when you are in buildings where you can't really socially distance, how hard is that.

Plans for the day, we will be doing our grocery shopping this morning (wearing our masks) as well as a few household chores. This afternoon I'll be setting up to work for RTI tomorrow when I go out and list once again. No long trips this time, I'll be within a county or so from home unlike the last couple of weeks when I was a few hours away.

Have a great day, if you go out where your masks.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit yet once again in a quiet household, my co-author is still sleeping and I'm up looking for something on the boob tube.

Hayley and Tyler as well as her Maid of Honor Bethany stopped over yesterday afternoon. They were starting to do a few crafts for the bridal shower next year including the invitations. She brought her cricut over and showed me some of the things she has  already done such as her save the date cards that she will send out to everyone. We were set up to do everything outside, but the weather dictated that it be moved inside into the newly vacated bedroom.

I did hear some heartbreaking news yesterday. I have been a poster on a certain WVU message board for 20 years. I go there to discuss WVU sports and used to spend a lot of time on the Politics and Religion Board up until a couple of years ago. I was part of my daily routine and many of us even though we have never met know a lot about each other. I learned yesterday that my old political adversary and friend had passed away Wednesday evening. TXEER as we called him was recently diagnosed and has been battling ALS the last couple of months. Tom lived in Palmer Texas, but was originally from West Virginia and spent a lot of time on the message board. How much time, I did the math yesterday and for 18 years, he averaged a post every 50 minutes. 167,107 posts since September of 2002. You will be missed old friend.

Have yourselves a great day today.

Do something special.

Well it has been a good week for me I would like to say. I have some more listing work in hand for RTI that I will do next week, it'll be a one day thing but it does get me out of the house for a while.

Yesterday morning we woke up to an unpleasant surprise, our Air Conditioner (it was ours) was shorting out and not working. It's in the 90's this week so I ran to Lowes and actually picked up a better one than we had. The one we had in the bedroom was 10,000 BTU, this one is 14,000 BTU's and is actually blue tooth enabled and we can run it from ALEXA once we get it all configured. The old one is up in the garage and needs repaired.

Michelle and I woke up yesterday morning and found out we are once again empty nesters. Chad we assume moved back in with Laiah in the middle of the night. We all knew this was coming, especially if Michelle and I have to relocate due to the work situation. They broke up a few years ago, but they are one of those couples that you knew were going to get back together. I think they are both a little lost without the other one, so we're happy for them.

This evening Hayley is going to be coming over with her Maid of Honor Bethany and they are going to work on some crafts for a couple of events. One is Hayley's bridal shower and the other is Bethany's daughters upcoming birthday.

Have yourselves a great day today.

Do something to make those around you smile.

This weeks pic is from I honestly don't know when. I think this picture was taken at the old house at the end of Van Voorhis and my guess is it's probably the 1968 or 1969, but that is just a hunch. There is me in the front and Lynne and Sharon behind me and no idea who the older gentleman sitting behind us is unless it was their Dad Ralph, but that is just a guess that I'm not very confident in making. The hands look older but Grandpa Hall never sat on the couch, he had his chair that he sat in.

I was such a cutie though, not that I'm conceded or anything.

Have a great day.

Wednesday

Well that is two days down, we have a couple more ahead of us until the weekend, that must mean that today is Hump Day.

I decided to do a real blog today rather than just posting a funny Youtube clip like I have done in the past. A couple things I wanted to say, so you get a real blog for a change in the middle of the week.

Michelle will be in the Clarksburg Office today, they are still remodeling it and I think she is really starting to get cabin fever. Her boss will be at the Clarksburg site as well so there will be a reason to go there other than to just look to see how the remodel is progressing.

In my life, I will be speaking with someone this afternoon. It's a job that when I applied for it I felt pretty good about. Not going to say anything, but I'll say I have my fingers crossed on this one. No it would not be in Morgantown or even West Virginia. It wouldn't be me heading east but instead north to an area that Michelle and I both have a little bit of familiarity with. I need a challenge and this could be one that I would embrace.

It looks like I'm not done listing for RTI just yet, I've got another segment coming but other than the one I did here, would be the closest one I will have listed. Just one county south and just a simple hop skip and a jump from here. The segment I worked for two days last week and one this week I am so glad to have finished and have that one off of my plate. It was a pain in the butt and it took a couple of hours to get there. About an hour and a half by interstate and then another half an hour after I got off of the highway. Nice area, but very rural, there is actually a state park right in the middle of it all....lol

Have yourselves a great day today, if you're lucky you can do something to change the world.

Wear a mask.

Tuesday's Tidbits

* Monday is completed and I'm think I'm done listing for RTI for the time being.

* It has been 20,670 days since I first entered this world as we know it. I've love every day of being here and I hope I have made a few of you happy with knowing me.

* It has been 5,896 days since I graduated from WVU with a Degree in Geography, specifically GIS.

* 4,497 days ago Michelle and I had our first date together, seems like just yesterday.

* 3,721 days ago I proposed to Michelle, 4:00 in the morning in the back yard.

* It was 4,149 days ago in front of our closest friends and family, Michelle and I tied the knot with the help of a co-worker of hers.

* I have now lived 884 days longer than my Dad did and I'm still going.

* I have 4,207 days to go until I retire, give or take a few hundred days here or there.

* The next Backyard Brawl where we beat Pitt's ass in Football is only 786 days away.

* There are 395 days until Michelle and I head to Pittsburgh to see Reba in concert. It was postponed this March to July and now they are pushing the tour until next year. It'll be mine and Michelle's 10th wedding anniversary.

* There are only 348 days until the start Spring 2021!!!!!

* 210 more days until Phil steps to center stage again for Groundhogs Day. He must be back from his vacation as I have seen him in the back yard this weekend.

* 194 more days to go until my Goodbye 2020 Blog is posted, this should be an interesting one.

* There are 170 more shopping days left until Christmas 2020.

* My next Anniversary of my 21st Birthday will be in 146 more days.

* There are 28 more days to go until Michelle and I celebrate our Ninth Wedding Anniversary together.

* I have written 6,076 blogs in the now 15 1/2 years since I started blogging.

* No drone flights this weekend, but that has pretty much been my recurring theme this year with that. I do have a plan to fly Hayley's wedding venue sometime this spring for her.

* Weather was super hot over the weekend, you could almost call it 4th of July weather.

* Michelle will be continuing training today she is on her Junior classes for this new in depth accounting software that they have purchased. It took her about a week and some frustration just to complete her Freshman course and she has a degree in accounting if that tells you how in depth this training is.

* I'm wondering with all the new Corona Virus cases here locally, what this town is going to be like next month when the University is due to open.

* Hi hi hi ho

Monday

All good things must come to an end, and that includes the fun filled and extended holiday weekends. Now it is time to stick our collective noses back onto the grindstone for another fun filled week of doing what it is we do for a living.

I'm probably going to head south today to work the segment I started listing last week. This should be the last of my listing that I have and am now only waiting until we get the go ahead from corporate to start doing the screening and interviewing. We're all on a hold at this time due to the Corona Virus.

Fig and Tilley will be heading back to Hayley sometime today. Their camping trip is complete and they are back and will be picking all of their pets up. We watched the cats and Tylers parents watched the dogs. May and Ace are both Pitbulls and tend to play a little rough, hence why they are staying across town rather than here.

Michelle is officially a Junior now in her iSolve University. She's halfway to graduating and gaining her sanity back. This has been a challenging course for her as she has done it all remotely. Usually you travel to either the South Carolina or the Utah Campus to get this degree, but because of the Corona Virus it is being with without the assistance of an in person instructor and labs.

I will once again not be playing softball tonight, I doubt if I will make it back into town on time so I told the coach don't depend on my being there tonight. I have to dig out my equipment anyways which I still have not done.

Have a great day

Hi ho hi ho

Sunday

Here I sit in a quiet household once again, I'm up watching the movie Dave and collecting my thoughts for the day. My co-author is once again slacking, but that could be due to the fact that we have two house guests cats here still as Hayley's Cats Fig and Tilly are still here. Speak of the Devil my co--author is here.

Yesterday Michelle and I went over to Moke and Ang's 4th of July picnic at their new home.
I have to say it is a beautiful home in a beautiful location with an majestic view especially this fall when the leaves change colors. It's on top of the hill and they are one of the last homes on that road and they have a nice sized lot. I can see an in ground pool in their future.

Other than that that was pretty much our 4th, Michelle did run over to Jim and Chris's yard sale that they had set up for a little while.

Today is back to normal, heading out and doing our grocery shopping this morning and then coming home to do what we normally do on Sunday's. I'm probably heading south tomorrow to finish up listing the segment I started for RTI last week. I just want to get this final one done as it has been a big pain in the butt.

Have yourselves a great day and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Happy 4th of July

Here I sit on on Nations 244th Birthday in the early AM Hours, Peanut is once again absent and not here to help me write this this morning. She was up a couple of hours ago when I briefly woke up, but she seems like she has went back to sleep somewhere.

First off thoughts and prayers to my Father in Law Tom, there is an issue with his health and it may require Michelle's attention back home this weekend. Let's all just hope everything turns out for the best and for a full recovery.

Moke and Ang are having a 4th of July cookout today at their home, we may try to make an appearance there sometime this afternoon. They just bought a new home off of a the old Meadowponds Golf Course which I don't think is operational anymore as of a few years ago. I think they are developing homes on it such as Moke and Ang's new home.

Other than that no real plans for us today even though that may be a lot on our plates. We don't have any intentions of attending any 4th of July events around town or the Fireworks this evening.

Here is a schedule of events at Mylan Park today:

1:00 PM - 5:45 PM
Anker Fields Complex: Baseball Game- Wheeling Park and Morgantown 2

5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Parking Opens

7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Track Complex: Davisson Brothers Concert Live Stream

9:45 PM - 10:00 PM
Fireworks Viewing

Have a Safe and Happy 4th of July.

Big Ole Hairy 4th of July Weekend

Yes it is once again that time of the week that we all look foreword to, when we can take time to cease the labors for the week and take a little bit of needed time out to enjoy the fruits of those labors. It is once again the dawn of another weekend and a Big Ole Hairy 4th of July Holiday Weekend.....or something like that.

Michelle is officially on Holiday from work, but said she might continue with some of the classes that she has been doing for work. They have purchased isolved and when she completes all of this training that is usually done in person, she will be the only isolved certified person in the state of West Virginia.

Plans for the weekend, we are cat sitting Hayley and Tyler's two cats Figaro and Tilley for the weekend. They are off camping for the weekend and we are cat sitting as Tyler's parents are Dog Sitting.

I know Moke and Ang are having a 4th of July picnic at their new home tomorrow. I'm not sure if we will make it due to this COVID-19 stuff that is coming back to the area. This thing has put a big damper on everything the last three months and counting.

Have a great day and the start of a greater weekend.

This weeks pic goes back to the 2015 Picnic that we had at Krepps Park. It had to be in two parts, the first one Pam was there but Gary was late showing up, the second one was after Pam had left and Gary finally showed up to the Picnic a little late, hence why we had the 5 Morgantown based siblings all at the same place, but not at the same time.

Notice that everyone is giving the Hall Salute, where everyone likes to flip me off for some reason. I actually did a video of that years ago to the I-95 Asshole Song that actually got a little world wide attention as a few places around the world hosted the video.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Wednesday

I've been trying to entertain people on Wednesdays with some videos, kind of a fluff day where I can have a blog but not really have much content. Something to keep the reader entertained and coming back.

I'm going to do that again this week, I'm just going to give you a website worth some time for entertainment.

I thought to myself what could I do to interactively give the reader a chance to partake in the fun. I need something where we can all have a good laugh and maybe even laugh at ourselves.

You never know who is watching and in todays age of the smart phone, who might be making you internet famous.

I present to you People of Walmart
