The Mountaineer Football team is in action today at Iowa State, a top 10 team on the road. We've only beaten a top 10 team on the road twice in school history. 1954 we went to Happy Valley and beat Penn State and in 1982 we went to Norman Oklahoma and shocked Oklahoma, who we play next week. We have struggled with Iowa State the last couple of years and that trend could very well continue today. Iowa State's Scott Campbell is one heck of a coach and has built a pretty good program there. The game is at 3:30 this afternoon on ESPN.
No plans for Michelle and I today. although that will change next weekend as it will be kind of busy both Friday evening and Saturday day.
Michelle did hear a little disheartening news yesterday, her Grandma who we used to go to her home every year for Christmas, the infamous Gigi as been tested positive for COVID 19. She was moved into a nursing home a couple of years ago when she had trouble taking care of herself on a daily basis, she is an amazing woman who just turned the ripe young age of 99 this past August. Let's all hope she gets better and fully recovers from this ugly pandemic.
