18 Years Ago

It was 18 years ago today that Kiwi and Peanut's Mommy and Daddy went out on their first date together. Kiwi was tell us about the date Dad, so I sat them down and told them the story. 

18 Years ago, Michelle and I went out on our first official date together. I had asked her out to go get some Pizza and see a movie, which, in case anyone didn't know, was 10,000 BC. 

Michelle had spent all day getting ready and getting advice from Hayley, like don't drink Pop it will make you burp. 

I did pick her up and I think we went to Pizza Hut first to eat, then it was on to the movies to see this movie that I actually picked to see. Don't Mess with the Zohan and Semi-Pro weree both playing and I chose this movie. Don't ask me why.

I told Kiwi and Peanut I made Mommy wait 777 days before I actually asked her to Marry me and we have been together since that date. There is an old saying that today is the first day of the rest of your life, that could not be any truer for me on that evening. 

Best 18 years of my life and we have a Conure and a Cat to boot.
