The U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005 passed by Congress in July 2005 extended Daylight Savings Time in the US by approximately 4 weeks. As a result DST will start three weeks earlier in 2007 and will end one week later in the fall.
Change in daylight savings times:
March 11, 2007: Set Clocks +1 Hr (Spring Forward)
November 4, 2007: Set Clocks -1 Hr (Fall Back)
