Michelle and I went to a new but old store here in Morgantown. Just last week The Local Market opened up out on Cheat Road here in Morgantown. It is actually the Gutta Family that had the old Gutta's and Grandpa Hall and I used to go to to get his starter plants. They opened up a little store in the building mostly housing locally grown or made products. They are getting their produce from Duda's Farm in Brownsville. Duda's kind of lost the local presence here the past few years with Mal's basically taking all of the local market share for reselling fresh produce.
We did stop at the local Market yesterday and got some green tomatoes (where can you really find those around town) and a mixture to make them for the first attempt. I didn't really want Kiwi and Peanut making any extra mess, you know I am their kitchen bitch and have to clean up after them. If Kiwi tries to clean up, there are feathers everywhere and Peanut, she just gets fur everywhere.
Have yourselves a great day.
