Saturday Morning Ramblings

Here I sit in a quiet household, Kiwi and Peanut are having a very deep intellectual discussion about where they came from. They are reading Origin of Species by Charles Darwin, they are pretty sure they have found the answers. Now Kiwi is thinking he evolved from a Pterodactyl. Peanut, she said she came from a Saber-Toothed Tiger. Saying she is a badassed hunter and no butterfly can get past her. 

So we had an eventful week this week, some drunk actually wrecked in front of the house at 4:30 Wednesday Morning. I had just woken up and heard a big POP, and then our power went out. We were the only to lose power. The passenger in the car was taken away by ambulance, and he hit hard. He left a bottle of Whiskey in the yard that I eventually drained and threw away, along with a bag of McDonald's that was drawing ants. Michelle watched the Power Company change the fuse on the pole and she was quite happy we got power back. 

Speaking of Michelle, she is enjoying her last weekend before starting a new job. She'll be working at Swanson Industries at their Mount Morris facility starting Monday. She is super excited and said this could be a company she could work until retirement with. 

Did speak with Gregg a couple of hours this week, they are planning on coming down to bring Michelle a Chicken Coop (she wants chickens) that they want to give her. Did I mention she wants Chickens?
