Once a week I like to take a little bit of time out, time to look at some of the 30,000+ photos that I have stored on my computer. Little lost moments in time that I either captured with a lens, scanned or just stole from someplace on the internet. I like to find just one and post it up and recall or relive the picture to the best of my ability. Sometimes this is a pretty easy task and sometimes it's not that easy, one thing it has always been a lot of fun.
For this weeks pic I had to do a little bit of research, that is a picture of my sister Terri and it's probably around 1978 or so based on the Sgt Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band movie poster on her wall. She has this growth growing out of her ear, and I'm not sure what it is. It has a windy cord on it and further research shows me that was something that was called a telephone. You would plug it into a wall or an adapter and run a cord to it, then you had a headset like she is holding to her ear and it allowed you to talk to people. This is long before the iPhone and I was wandering how people communicated before cell phones and smart phones.Have yourselves a great day
